Welcome to my life as a flight attendant! On today's video, I'm taking you with me on my hotel/quarantine layover in Manilla and Toronto! Because of the pandemic, some countries have their own guidelines on whether they want passengers to quarantine and for how long. This also goes for what they want flight attendants to do.
These are one of those times where you have to adapt to your surroundings, but it also is a great way for my body and mind to completely rest and reset for the flight back to Dubai.

I am a M.D and I was just thinking to myself that in an ideal life I would be a flight attendant for a certain period of time, even though I know it is not an easy job at all. But I thought since I loved traveling I would be just fine. Today your video popped up on my newsfeed and it made me realize even more how hard your job is, especially that you are not even allowed to leave the hotel when you land in beautiful countries because of the pandemic. I totally get you, when I fly west back to Toronto from Manila, the jet lag is horrible. I have to allow 4 days to recover before I can go back to work...awake! Can't wait to check out your other videos!

When I stay in an airport hotel, you cannot pry me away from the window. I can literally sit there and watch aircraft the whole day! I totally relate to that.
Tim Hortons is to Canada what Dunkin Donuts is to USA. Except Los Angeles...no trip to LA is complete without a stop at Randy's. Amazing!
I also think no trip in LA is complete without In and out burgers ;) But I love people watching and now it seems plane watching as well haha.

Toronto Canada wow, only my parents had been there ages ago. Sadly my father died and me and my Mom didn't emigrate there. ( couldn't) with no English back then for me. I'm from Hungary.

If it is moose you want to see, then you need to come to OSL. When rwy 01L is in use you may see moose around there. If you take the train downtown the you will see the moose overpass bridges. Your job seems glamorous and exciting to travel all around the world, however, it also seems very lonely and depressing especially not be able to leave your hotel room. To me, there is no amount of money that could make me be away from my family and friends for that amount of time especially on the holidays, just to be a flight attendant. NO WAY! Good luck to you. I wish you love, peace, and happiness on your travels.
Hi Irene! I have to say that even though you don’t think this job is for you, but still wished me well with beautiful words was so very much appreciated! I love that you are so close to your family! I really miss mine especially now that I can’t see them as often as I used to.
Luckily I don’t feel lonely or depressed though. I’m one of those people who love chatting with people and hanging out, but I need to recharge my mind and body (like sometimes I have to go into a bathroom to take a few breaths and then go back out)
So it really is what you make it hete. It most definitely is tough for a lot of people! But, I have many opportunities here that I don’t have back home and my family understands and supports that ☺️

Try not to drink too much coffee , that might be one of the reason you not getting enough sleep. Rather water is the best source to hydrate and it'll help out get off those restless nights on layovers.

Nice vlog!! I love Emirates. I had a good experience on Emirates when I went to the United Kingdom. When I went to Canada, I wasn't able to try Tim Horton's. Although we have Tim Horton's here in the Philippines. The question is : is it the same as in Canada?
