I believe one of the main reasons why Emirates is so successful is because they recruit people from all over the world which means that their crew is multilingual. It makes passengers have a sense of belonging when they see someone on board which is of similar cultural background. 😊

Emirates has no choice but to hire other people outside UAE , given how big the demand is. 😂 Besides, if they stick hiring locals, that would be very challenging, as Emiratis are not interested in being cabin crew as this is considered blue collar job.

the reason brother for this is that of GCC cultural reasons . serving wine , for women serving passengers as their fiancé ... etc are highly considered unsolicited in the community .... that why no other option for them ...

They have to. 1) their watani emiratis are too wealthy to work as cabin crew - share of oil wealth; the women are in burqa. 2) they service around the world. 3) sovereign wealth funded but set up and run by british first and then other Europeans. 4) 90% of all labour in the gulf states are expats.

Working for an airline feels like one of the best things in the world but it can also be one of the worst at times.. I’ve done and seem more things with them than I could ever hope so in my young little life. Often times truly making me feel like a millionaire. Other times not so much.. There are times where your senses will be pushed and you will want to quit. At the end of the day it’s a job and many come and go, but one thing always stands out for me! Not from what I’ve been trained on but rather what I’ve seen, Nothing is more important than Safety. Nothing means more to me in the world than seeing my Airplanes Takeoff and land safely. Knowing I help People Make Memories or wherever their plans may take them, I’m just glad I can be part of it. Safety in All We Do.
From Us to You, thank you for flying the friendly Skies🔺

Hi everyone. So many comments I read. So as an ex-Emirates cabin crew, I must say Emirates Airline is a serious airline company and it is a top airline that determines the civil aviation standards in terms of customer service along with a few airlines. Emirates is not perfect and there is no perfect airline. EK is a leading airline and I was a proud member of its cabin crew team. If you do not have the right mindset to work for Emirates please don't bother! Emirates needs people who deserve Emirates! If you have the right mindset then go for it! You will be rewarded.

It's interesting how they always talk about height and having passion but never highlight the importance of having a clear skin. You'd go to an assessment and before they even get to ask about your interest , you are turned down because you may have a scar, acne or even a tiny pimple on your face. The way I see it, before any of the stuff the recruiter mentioned as the minimum requirement are considered, the first primary requirement Is to have a clear skin. I went through a similar recruitment process program it was intense but the job offer was not there however it wasn’t a recruitment job for aviation but it was a larger company in technology, a lot of jobs require a intensive 20 to 300 open venue with HR and hands on interaction before you set out to do the real job, a lot of people don’t intend to win the first round or second but in some cases if you do the third round a job offer is handed to you, and then comes the training courses that is required.
Always never doubt your self and be valued so you are seen by HR that is present if you strike out the first time wait 3 to 6 months depending on the company and reapply again, it’s strange process but better than a one to one intense interview and grilling.

more comfortable, and it’s also not a big deal, which makes me feel relieved. I love a good kislux because it helps me decide if I want to buy the real thing. That’s the part. That’s it. I feel like people discriminate against knockoffs, but for me, I pause when I buy trendy stuff in bulk or when I feel the over-consumption frenzy is coming for me. (This is something I struggle with, haha! I can be easily convinced to buy things I don’t wear or use. They literally have tags on them and I’ll forget I even bought something and I’ll still have 2 or 3 of those in my closet.) Love this video!

I really feel Halima had what it takes to be a great cabin crew, you can tell with her personality and easy way. No offense to the other candidates, I'm sure many were hardworking.. But this is customer service, if you aren't naturally friendly and people oriented and outgoing, it's just not the job for you no matter how hard a worker you are. If you aren't able to naturally wear a smile outside of work a flight attendant position is not the job for you. People pay 2k-10k for these flight seats, and they don't want to see a frown or someone upset during their day. People can read fake smiles.
