Over 50 million passengers fly with Emirates Airline every year and over 22,000 flight attendants are working on these flights…What it takes to be an Emirates flight attendant? Let’s go behind the scenes at the Emirates cabin crew assessment day…
The day started with 350 locally applied candidates in Dubai. The invited-only session gave vital information about the requirements of Emirates cabin crew and the entire joining process. The applicants were divided into groups for activities and tests. Results were given out on the same day to all candidates.
While the cabin crew job may appear glamorous, flying around the world can also be exhausting. Flight attendants perform difficult work from ensuring safety and providing hospitality in a flying environment and all done while wearing a polite smile. I spoke with the Emirates recruiter about some advantages and challenges of the job.
6 years from 2006-2011 as Cabin Crew in Emirates. 🇦🇪 one of the best experiences in my life. Go for it ❤
*Congratulations for being the waitress and a maid at 35,000 feet high.*
@@stephaniehale946didn’t get in hey babe
IT WAS FUN BUT YOU WILL NEED TO MAKE FAMILY
@@stephaniehale946 Do you earn at least $4000 USD per month or more (take home) with free accommodations and healthcare? That's what cabin crew of Emirates get.
Even I, as an IT Eng do not earn that amount of money with 8 years of education! This is a hard job but rewarding one. You sounds like uninformed or misinformed.
You are very impolite @@stephaniehale946
Love the content. Too many videos of people just passing through airports, lounges, sitting on airplane seats and airplane food. Nice to see behind the scenes of what really goes on in the airlines.
bot
The thing is not too many people have the privilege to access internal airline ops. Only a handful of people are invited to view such operations. You can't really fault the common folks for doing the common things of taking footage of going through airports, flights and so forth because that's all they can do.
wtf is your pfp💀
😂😂😂😂😂😂
This is just an ad. smfh
ive been working as emirates cabin crew for one year now, and i have to say sometimes we take the job for granted. it is really refreshing to see this recruitment process, it reminds me of my open day! all the passion and eagerness for this job. it reminds me to be extremely grateful for the opportunity i have to work here ❤️
remember that there's thousand of people out here want to be in your place !!! dont forget to give your very best !!
Good bravo brave
Next on their pilot selection please!
The lovely candidate who wasn’t successful a couple of times already and just said she’ll apply again, she should move on , they’re too polite to tell her not to bother applying again like a 4th or 5th time will miraculously change the outcome, save your dignity and apply somewhere else
Actually, someone I know finally got in 9th time. And he is still there, having a sucessful career. You never know.
I believe one of the main reasons why Emirates is so successful is because they recruit people from all over the world which means that their crew is multilingual. It makes passengers have a sense of belonging when they see someone on board which is of similar cultural background. 😊
They have very discriminatory hiring practices though, they would never get away with what they do if they were a U.S based company.
This is exactly what I LOVE about Emirates!😊
Quality of the staff is the best can’t lie
You obviously are lying because only asian staff are the best.
Why dont u fly on korean airlines before commenting! Dumb ahh.
This June 1st i got invited for assessment day. At Grosvenor House, a Luxury Collection Hotel, , Dubai Marina❤
This was filmed during the morning session on June 1st! Did you pass? Good luck!
❤
You will fail it , sorry to say, just dont get your hopes up, but smile, do your best, it aint worth it
@@flamingdelta9853 Please don't sully the hopes of others. If you are projecting, please address your own misfortunes so you can be hopeful again too.
@@SamChui. I was invited too yes I passed and I was beside my friend that Nepal lady when you were taking her introduction 😄 .
Very cool , love how professional the docs have become. Sam is a really good presenter.
Working for EK is somewhat like being in the Army. Definitely not for everyone. EK housing is run like a military dorm. EK has a lot of control over it's employees.
Can’t wait till I’m old enough to apply :)
Same ❤❤
😂 same
same!!!

See you in the air after some years
Poor Halima - 4th time unlucky. I think she should seriously reconsider her career options.
Love the content as always Sam. World class my friend. Big love from London, England.
To me she has talent, probably can try her nearby country airlines eg indigo, sri lankan, air india
She isn’t confident enough to answer her question in a clear and objective manner…from the start as soon as she talking, i knew she isn’t the one and I was impressed by the Brazilian guy..a clear focus n friendly manner .
Great Videos Always smiling Sam!
Love that your contents are more than just flight reviews. Keep up the good work!
Sam! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHOWING HOW THIS PROCESS WORKS, VERY USEFUL VIDEO!
Loving the content. So happy to see how they are recruited
Great variety...very exciting videos Sam!! Really enjoy how you always keep us guessing as to your next video!! Thanks for taking us along! Cant wait for the next video!!
Fabulous vlog…love it…I applied and was successful with 20 airlines to interview stage, I failed on confidence some 20 years ago but still have a passion for flying and cabin crew vlogs…thank you so much for sharing this…❤ Louise xxx
Such meetings and lineups are so luxurious and huge😍👏
Thanks Sam.
Awaresome insight
Thank you for the video Sam. I hope everyone understand that it’s not easy to be a Flight Attendant as from Interview, knowledge, training, drills and when you start working… it’s challenging attending to hundreds of people than slowly to First class.
I am thankful I was a Cabin Crew when I was younger. To those you made it.. enjoy your life… and for those who did not made it… try again.. record the way you speak and compare it to others. .. lastly.. enjoy being a cabin crew because in the future with flying cars and EVTOL .. soon not many Airlines will need Cabin Crew. Or maybe even pilots..
So lucky to be part of the Assesment day during that time. I wanted to approach you since I’ve been watching your vlogs for a long time! Thank you for including us in your vlogs! ❤ Inshallah I will reapply again.
Thanks Sam for showing us. Very interesting
Amazing to see behind the scenes. Great share!!!
Make some more similar vlogs of other airlines.
Can’t wait to be apart of this beautiful airline and of course the people ❤
Great video we see what we have been hearing about
Thank you Sam for this video, again another behind the scenes, love this format. More of where this came from!
Very interesting to watch and brought back some memories. I was a cabin crew member for over 30 years with TWA/AA.
So true, once’s you are in aviation. You will always have aviation at heart… I was in Aviation as FA, then Move to Airline Technician School and now after being on ground for awhile… am back in Aviation
Thank you for sharing, Sam!
Great vídeo, about Emirates ❤
That was very informative Sam, Thanks
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Sam. Love this kind of content, it’s different and interesting. Inspiring to myself who’s working currently based in Sydney as Cabin Crew as well. Keen to meet you sometime in the air too!
Your clips are always excellent
Working for an airline feels like one of the best things in the world but it can also be one of the worst at times.. I’ve done and seem more things with them than I could ever hope so in my young little life. Often times truly making me feel like a millionaire. Other times not so much.. There are times where your senses will be pushed and you will want to quit. At the end of the day it’s a job and many come and go, but one thing always stands out for me! Not from what I’ve been trained on but rather what I’ve seen, Nothing is more important than Safety. Nothing means more to me in the world than seeing my Airplanes Takeoff and land safely. Knowing I help People Make Memories or wherever their plans may take them, I’m just glad I can be part of it. Safety in All We Do.
From Us to You, thank you for flying the friendly Skies🔺
Personally this is the most fantastic aviation video I have ever watched, thanks Sam Chui
It's interesting how they always talk about height and having passion but never highlight the importance of having a clear skin. You'd go to an assessment and before they even get to ask about your interest , you are turned down because you may have a scar, acne or even a tiny pimple on your face. The way I see it, before any of the stuff the recruiter mentioned as the minimum requirement are considered, the first primary requirement Is to have a clear skin. Maybe emirates may be lenient, but Qatar is not.
I was also wondering why she didn’t mention that. Yes Qatar 💯 strict on that. Emirates is also. I know one who was fired as Emirates cabin crew for having a scar. It was noticed after she was hired. She even has a video on TH-cam
i mean ofcourse they wont... lols. these people have been screened already. people lined up for 9 hours under the sun to get shortlisted.
The Best Video of Sam so Far,...goodluck!, aspiring cabin crew,...
Good luck to everyone.
Waw she's really friendly and i learnt also from this thank you
This is so cool!
Good video….. you are presenting every day very valuable videos, thanks❤️
I took Emirates one time, the crews were so professional.
Thank you very much!
Sam, your content always fascinates me with varied aspects of Airline Industry.. Keep up the good work 👍
Thanks Sam I loved this. Be interesting to see how far the guy from Brazil does
Love the vid Sam as always you never disappoint
always good different content
Thank you for a good and informative clips, stay healthy dear sam 👍🏻👍🏻❤
Great content once again......thanks Sam. Emirates for me will always be in my top 3 Airlines 👌🏽
Awesome thank you so much
exquisite content Mr. Chui next kindly do the next video on cadet pilot what it takes to become one: restriction and so many factors maybe on different airlines like Qatar, Etihad, Emirates, Singapore, ANA
This makes me want to become a flight attendant.
Sam, I just love that you take us on your awesome adventures and experiences. Keep up the good work!
P.s. I want to be a flight attendant when I grow up! Can’t wait!
The life of the cabin crews are far from being glamorous with the demands of passengers on board. Another aspects of the Emirates brand, their cabin crew with their smiles and hospitality!!
Great content Sam. I really like your videos!!!
Another great presentation 👍👍❤️❤️
This is super exciting ❤😍
I've been working on some required skills for a while to apply .
I hope one day I will experience this 😊❤
Very cool!
Kuwait Airways and Qatar Airlines are growing well and fast and expected to give a strong competition to Emirates in near future . They have wonderful update Aircrafts , affordable fares, punctuality and least hassle of security checks during transits ….
Great content as always.
We do not forget an ancient Greek phrase .
What shines is NOT always made from Gold !....
HALIMA WE ARE ALL ROOTING FOR YOU
her smile 😍😍😍😍
thanks for sharing
good job
You are best sam keep doing 👏 ❤️ 💙
I've always been so enamored of Emirates Airlines Cabin Crew, so professional, immaculate, well-groomed, all-around gorgeous❣
great process from Emirates
Wonderful ! 🌟✈️
Recoomend to watch jeenie weenie, a forme flight attendant with emirates. Absolutely hillarious. 😊
I went through a similar recruitment process program it was intense but the job offer was not there however it wasn’t a recruitment job for aviation but it was a larger company in technology, a lot of jobs require a intensive 20 to 300 open venue with HR and hands on interaction before you set out to do the real job, a lot of people don’t intend to win the first round or second but in some cases if you do the third round a job offer is handed to you, and then comes the training courses that is required.
Always never doubt your self and be valued so you are seen by HR that is present if you strike out the first time wait 3 to 6 months depending on the company and reapply again, it’s strange process but better than a one to one intense interview and grilling.
Good Luck everyone that searching for a job.
Yea fuck hope.
You sound delusional because in reality, you are not valued either way as a number.
Please make a Pilots recruitment video too !
love your videos
Hope that you make an video like this about emirates flight training academy pilot assessment so I can get a idea about this
He did
This video will multiply Emirates job applications 1,000 percent! Great video!
True. But they only choose the hottest people to be crew.
@@LINJ638They hire crew from many different countries. Ur crew in emirates will have people from 20+ different countries. If anything, they are diverse.
@@purevanilla4438 Yes, Yes, I know. Europeans and UK nationals are always the most dominant groups while Americans and Canadians, not so much. But still, they only choose people with astonishingly good looks.
Awesome insights!
geat video!
Thank you Sam for this fantabulous insider informative video.
Memories with Gulfair ❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Yes Sir.
Please Tell what are the qualifications needed to become a pilot ? And also Please put a video on pilot training sessions, training schools, and also what we needed to be a pilot ( O LEVEL AND A LEVEL RESULTS) and what sre the steps?? Please 🙏
Thank you Sam for the behind the scenes recruiting day trials for Emirates prospects, very informative. I wish we could have sampled a few questions from the English test. It’s probably 12th grade level Q and A’s. By the way, there were many, many beautiful women applying.
Emirates knows what works.
Yes, yes, we know there are many beautiful women applying.
Sam can you please do a video where you show around the emirates flight training academy student academy
If your asking about cabin crew training college, he already has a video about it!
Emirates I’ll get a job soon and yeah I’m not going to give up 😍😍😍😍
Hi , Sam love watching your videos 🎉
They are so beautiful and specially i love everything about Emirates because i was raised in UAE 🇦🇪 and have been travelling in Emirates since then...❤
So when i watch your videos they are so nostalgic...🎊
Love your work...keep on travelling and make these interesting videos for us...
If you visit London would love to meet you as i live here...
Make a video about Gatwick airport...i just love this airport...💜
Keep flying...☺️😉💖
People say that cabin crew are glorified waiters, pilots are also glorified bus drivers.
It's a job, and some people want to do it more than others. Good luck to the candidates!
Beautifully said comment 👏🏽 Bless you!
Absolute props to Sam for keeping going with this extraordinarily good videos of parts of the aviation industry that have previously been undocumented, despite all the awful hate he gets on a regular basis for no reason.
Recruiter has got it. The SMILE and the choice of right words
Do Singapore! We need more info for Singapore airlines ❤
ohh these are the ones screened from Manila before.. and the ones that are short listed gets flown there.
As a Cathay cabin crew, this is very interesting woohoo 💪❤
The best flight attendants on the planet are from the Philippines and Latin America, they are always smiling and are very kind and attentive, those from Eastern Europe are very cold and do not smile.
Sam, did you attempt the English test? Did you pass? Any tips? Great content! Thx 👏👍
Emirates is not the most successful airlines because of the crew but more because of the quality of its aircrafts , the punctuality of its arrival and departures , Nice lounges and variety of food ….
The color of the shirt on this plane is modeled after the color of the robes of wise monks in Vietnam which is popular right now.
I was there in this AD
Nice...
Next make a Qatar airways video same as this same. I love both Emirates and Qatar ❤
Yes both are great but Qatar is better I think
