Thank you for producing this detailed video on the rope light production. Can imagine the video editing time and work.
Lots of work, but I love doing it. Thanks 😊
AWESOME!
Great work👍
Next time when you saw a piece of acrilic, please use some painters tape for edge protection and/or soapy water. You will saw a lot more easy and less change of damage.
In my opinion absolutely the best game plan for making these LED signs. You earned a new Sub, hopefully many more will follow. Good luck
Thanks 😁
BEEN STRUGLING, THANX MAJOR HAVOC
Thanks for ur video !
Absolutely amazing 👏
looks awesome!
Thanks bro!
GREAT JOB
Those Milwaukee sharpies are the best!
thanks for the tutorial! i have this on my list to learn this year and you video def helps!
Cool, thanks. Good luck with your project 👍
Thanks alot, this video really gave me insight and understanding
No problem 🫡 thanks for watching 👍
Hands down winner on the most rusted third hand contest
What blade are you using for the jigsaw I’m trying to cut mine and it keeps cracking
Nicely done, both the design of the sign and the video. Of the several I've watched, this one is really well paced, well edited and thorough. I'm working up a design of my own and it's helpful to see how you problem solved. It looks, to my untrained and ignorant eye, like you went with a parallel circuit? Any particular reason?
Hi 👋, thanks for the compliment, very kind of you. As regards the circuit I just went with wiring that could be hid behind the letters better and so I just worked it out as I went along. The LED’s are very low current draw so it doesn’t matter how they are wired as long as they each get a live & neutral 👍👍
great work! but i'd use transparent wires instead red/black. The problem would be always check polarity and lose time
Yes good shout that 👍👍
What kind of soldering iron is that.
After having many connected wires, where do they all connect at the end with so many?
Excellent👏👏
Thank you! Cheers!
Hi, great video!
How did you deal with the lenght of the pieces?
Usually you need a lenght that's longer or shorter than the distance where you can cut
Hi 👋 thanks, by folding the led strip over inside the silicone, I did that I think on the “H” centre 👍👍
I've watched about 10 different videos and this one is maybe the best one with limited tools. Who has money to spend on a 3D printer, Laser Printer, or even a CNC router machine? I know I don't. Now this method may take a little more time depending on the design but it definitely cheaper than the previous options when all you want to do is maybe like 2 signs or so and worth it imo.
Thanks, much appreciated 😁
Epic! We are building something similar today... 😀
Cool all the best 👍
this is very awsome and helpfull
Thanks 😊
wow good👍👍
Super video. Was that silicone caulk you used on the spaceship window? Did you use that instead of the glue because it was a tight circle? Thanks!
Hi 👋, thanks. Just clear silicon and yes some of the small pieces with tight bends needed a little extra strength 👍👍
Been making a few signs using this video as my initial inspiration, so thank you for the informative video! My biggest issue has been with cutting the acrylic sheet. I have tried different jigsaw blades and a drywall cut out tool and run into issues with the jigsaw shattering/cracking the acrylic (1/8th inch thickness) and the drywall bit running away from me when cutting. Any suggestions for getting cleaner cuts like you achieved, without ruining the acrylic? Thanks in advance!
Try using masking tape where you want to cut
😊😊
Router works wayyyyyyyy better
Awesome vid man, im wanting to get into this as a hobby. did you cover your wires going to the plug with anything or did you just leave as is?
Thanks 😊, I left the wires bare because I use the sign in lots of different places and with different power supplies so I’m always changing connectors. If the sign was permanently fixed I would solder in a switch and use a 240v (UK) to 12v mains power supply. There are so many things you can make with neon rope, it’s a good hobby. Have fun🫡
Trabalho perfeito!! Por favor, mostre como fez as soldas atrás!!!!!!!
Gracious 😀
I think the only thing I would’ve added were to add shrink wrap tubing to the wires so they’re all black. How do you handle power? Is it always battery-powered? Also for wiring, are they in a series or parallel circuit?
Hi, yes good idea. I use either a 12v battery or a 240v (mains) to 12v transformer purchased of Amazon 👍
Dude always go parallel for the same voltage
with a sign like this for his campaign I'm sure mr Havoc will be re-elected for sure!
Hi, the neon led is first generation?
Great vid... I'm gonna try making one a lot simpler..one question tho what's the machine u use to check if the light were good or not
Just a 12v battery 👍 all the best with your project
Never before have I seen such a great video tutorial! Thanks a lot buddy!
Very kind words, thanks 😊
Top demais!
De nada 👍
What was the power supply? Battery pack or driver? Could you show more on that please and thank you.
What type of adhesive is that you are using pretty cool ✌️
Thanks Johnny, I used brush on superglue and a little extra clear silicone to help support the tight circles 🫡
What thickness of plexiglass do you use? Nice job bro
Hi 5mm, it difficult to cut it just melts around the blade, lots of sanding required 👍
What type of LED strip is it, and where do you get it from. I need some like what you are using, I have some sharp bends/corners. I've tried other, but they will not make the bends I need. They fail if I try to push them.
I used 6mm x 12mm the Amazon link is... amzn.to/3YRXPQK
It can be tricky with shop bends sometimes you might have to change your design slightly.
Great video. From where did you get your led flex neon?
Hi 👋
Amazon this is the link 👇

😁
Omg where are you out of? I would love to make one but I already know I would need someone to guide me through the entire process, I’m crafty but not handy 😢
Making it is the best part, maybe just start with a really simple shape.
Can i order my custom built neon sign??nice built tho
സൂപ്പർ അടിപൊളി
👍🏼👍🏼
Cool
Thanks 🫡
The clear part of the sign. What is that called? Where can I find that? Also, I'm extremely new to this and this is such a cool video!!
Hey..
Which glue is this?
You are using.
Hi, brush on super glue. Any will do, I used gorilla super glue. Link is in the description 👍
Is 19awg wire okay to use?
Yes but the thicker the wire the more you will see it behind the neon strip.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Great video.
Too much work for me ..
What size rope light did you use ? 6mm or 8mm ??
Hi, 6mm x 12mm, Amazon link... amzn.to/3YRXPQK
@@majorhavoc and what size Perspex ?
@@JuanCarmenChetty 5mm acrylic link 👇

Ok
দোসএলাইটে এডেপটার লাগ বেকি?
Hi, it can be powered by any 12v source, I use a battery 👍
"Let me see how they make those neon LED lettering signs...maybe I'll do my own".....watched this video...."Yeah, I'll just buy one"
Lol
That move where you gave the neon led a groove so that it's well bendable, that's really dangerous, when I tried it, it led to internal cut of the strips
Yes, sometimes difficult to get the really tight bends eh 👍
its funny i have everything to make these videos, and laser machines to cut everything in a fraction of the time but i still dont have the motivation to do this. i could be making 6 figure income rn wtf
You should definitely do it 👍 all the best
Колхоз, неон самого плохого качества.
Not detailed. 😔😔😔
This doesn't look easy or efficient, at all. It looks cumbersome and way more difficult than it looks. I'd say it's not worth it.
It’s not too bad once you get into it 👍
@@majorhavoc I'll take your word for it. I'm not going to try it. But hey, you made the video, some people might try to replicate it. I've learned that when it comes to TH-cam, not everything is as easy as it looks.
@@TheZooBrooksAB I think the best thing is the affordability. Not everyone can afford a 3d printer, laser printer, or cnc router...
