I've been accused of spending too much on camping gear: fair enough
So I thought I'd address those accusations by spending a bit more.
Armed with £100 and an ebay account I challenged myself to buy all the essential gear I needed
(tent/rucksack/sleeping bag/sleeping mat) and still have enough change for a cheap bottle of wine.
All this and then go camping in winter: how did it work out?
Well, not too bad........

Best one these I've seen as you got decent entry level gear as to wish toys shows can be a cheap hobby to start another say 50 get stove headtorch bits and pieces sorted but we all no you can spend a 1000 on a rucksack even more 😂great vid and hope gets some people off the sofa and out in fresh air buddy

I use the oex bob cat 4 years in all weather never let me down
I use a poncho for my waterproof and i have modified it to stop it from blowing up in the wind
My boots I use are from Aldi for 20 pound never let water in
Sleeping bag army surplus one for 30
Backpack I got was oex 65 of vinted 8 pound
Nice one, I’m as guilty as the rest when it comes to spending too much but it just goes to show that you really don’t need to spend much, ATB, Graham 👍

Foggy camps are cool..I christened my Bobcat at that fisherman's lodge.

Hi Graham, nice little camp in a nice little spot, makes you wonder when it rains all night,but at least you went out, I choose not to at the weekend due to cold wet snow !!!!

How did you find the tent
So far I reckon it’s absolutely cracking especially that you can find it new for as little as £59.
I liked the groundsheet that covered the vestibule and the large roll back door. Maybe not the best or very tall folk but great for me 👍
