Kalandra is one of the bands, where your favourite song is always the one you are listening to right now. Katrine's voice and melodies are pure and heavenly. They make me fall in love with her :o) The band can go soft and hard and all between. Both their studio and live versions are top quality. And if you would need some music to chill, they made beautiful soundtrack to a video game Kingdom Two Crowns.
I'm so happy you found Kalandra! I can't listen to their album, The Line, without being moved in a way no other band has quite managed. Such cathartic music. It would be lovely to see your reaction to Borders.
"Brave new world (Live at Kulturkirken Jakob)" is usually the entry point for Kalandra. Watch that. They also have some spectacular videos. "The waiting game" is a fantastic one take video and "Borders" is almost spiritual. From their new album (like from a few weeks ago) I recommend "Bardaginn" a really epic video and a great song. They also made a live version of "Helvegen".
I love this band, and this performance is absolutely otherworldly. They just dropped a new music video and album today, but I would highly recommend "Brave New World" live at Kulturkirken Jakob next.
About pronation of Gildehallen; pretty good, but the "G" could be more soft, a bit like y in "yup". .. Think "yup", only with a tiny bit of G and the u in yup more like ii. So... Yiildehallen I guess🙃 It's a replica of a Norse (viking) feast hall

Just recently discovered Kalandra myself. They are incredible. The new video for "I Am" is stop motion animation and is absolutely beautiful.
