This is not the worst Toyota design by any means - bits of it are ok but their design department needs an overhaul. The only Japanese car company who make consistently attractive looking cars is Mazda. Toyota, Nissan and Honda are producing some really horrible designs. As another commenter mentioned, keep it simple and elegant. The same goes for Korean manufacturers.
I disagree it's a vast improvement of current model. Mazda designs are vomit except mx5.
