Your welcome , thanks for watching . Picking this up meant a lot , being the 1st Kirby I ever saw demonstrated for and purchased by my parents . This is what got me into selling the G3 for Kirby many years later . Thankyou for support 👍🔔 not to miss new uploads .
That looks very cool! I'm happy to see another refurbishment type video! I'd like to get an older Kirby like this, but would like to get one with a small head.
Your videos are so informative, I did buy a Kirby Heritage II in 1987 at a demo in my apartment from a Kirby Dealer. I still have the machine and followed your videos on cleaning it up. I'm just waiting for the Fan to come in which I ordered. My question is, my brother broke the original metal fan in 1994 when I was moving. I took it to a Kirby dealership to replace it, however, when they replaced my fan, the head light keeps dropping down and does not stay up. Is there are part that I can buy to replace the hinge so that the Head Light stays up without it dropping down when upon connecting my hose and/or other attachments?
Can u please do a video on fixing a front axle on a Kirby Heritage l that has an Axel that slips down whenever I try to adjust it? Also would like to know how to replace a scratch hood light cover. Thanks
Man I am So Happy I Found You Sir 👍 Thank You For Doing What You Do !!

Thanks for the video. Great blast from my past. I remember selling many during the late 80’s. Glad to see Kirby’s are still going strong. 👍👍

LOVE your bubble wrap workbench top! I thought I was the only one who cared THAT much about not adding additional scuffs and marks on my Kirby. 😎
Thats to stop the misses moaning about me doing Kirby repairs on our $1000 marble coffee table lol
I love to see the refurbishment of Kirby’s before the G4. The first I bought in 1996.
I bought my 1st Kirby in 1994 after selling G3 2yrs prior . Until then we had a carpet sweeper as I refused to buy any other vacuum.
Happy that you’re reunited with the model Kirby that started it all for you. Keep up the fantastic work.
Thanks so much can't wait to test her out.
That the one joe Pesci use that vacuum cleaner in lethal weapon 2 in 1989
Oh wow I had forgot about that, thanks for sharing. Now that have to go watch lethal Weapon 2 👍👍
Can’t wait to see it polished up and demo’d
Will be soon , hopefully have a little more room once i hit 1000 Subscribers and Someone wins the G6 to make way for more Kirby products.lol

Evening bud, based in Nuneaton UK, just bought one of these off ebay, listing says it doesnt run, might require your expertise 👍
Check the brushes , 9 times out of 10 thats the simple fix, or the safety switch at front of machine
@@KirbyEnthusiast thank you, I'll check both, will keep you updated 👍
Where is the Safety switch? My Heritage 2 orange light comes on when I press the Power button to turn it on.
Thank you so much for any advice!
My Heritage 2 is a 1984!

@@KirbyEnthusiast You're welcome.
Hello. I removed the defective capacitor (Kirby Legend 2). The engine no longer starts? Can't you run it without the capacitor?
The capacitor is fitted for a reason, so you can’t bypass it
@@KirbyEnthusiast Thank you very much - I will install a new one then 😄

Do these have the same motors as the G series?
Hi Conner they are same design but they are a lower wattage motor .
