    I've been cleaning up my room, and got my Kirby Heritage II out, was cleaning it up a bit and decided to see if there were any old videos about it, sure enough there was one and with a very 80s theme song. The original video only has like 30 seconds of usable song in it but it had exactly what i needed to stretch it out to a 50 or so second loop. Great loop! The only indication of if it has looped is a particularly distorted portion.

    • @RinoaL
      @RinoaL  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      you mean the part in each loop or the editing mistake i made about 1:05 minute in?

    • @ender_scythe2879
      @ender_scythe2879 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's a component of every loop. I don't notice a mistake at that time.

    I have this machine, and for me it's the best vacuum I've ever used. I find it a pain to switch from hose to floor though, and I've decided I use the duster brush, crevice tools etc. much more often, so I use another vacuum to whip over the floor. Sometimes I'll even use the hose with a soft brush for the floor because I'm short and it doesn't strain my back to bend down.

    brings back memories. when my mom was being sold hers the sales men had her watch this video. though i dont remember music the whole time cause i remember a guy explaining in the video how it worked. these were sold door to door, if you didnt know

      thats because i added the music...... it was originally only like 20 seconds of this tune in the video but i stretched it out into a full song.

    • @RinoaL

      Thanks! i think it has to do with the fact that i use a lot of old technology, like i searched this up to learn more about my own Kirby Heritage II. it showed me how to use the accessories. unfortunately i put those in the antique store booth to sell back in like May, better run back and take them out. haha

      Rinoa literally struck gold on acquiring this content and sharing the wisdom of it. Way fucking better than today's modern music. It's kinda waltzy but much more than that. The bassline is so refreshing too.

    My family used to have a classic 3 that lasted maybe 15 years before the motor failed. It wasn't a terrible vacuum at the time but they are very heavy compared to modern vacuums. It was also very difficult and expensive to get replacement parts short of belts and bags. My aunt had the legend and it also lasted quite a while maybe 12-13 years but it developed a crack in the side of the motor housing that was likely a manufacturing defect since it slowly moved across the housing over the years. For what they cost the Kirby vacuums are still very heavy and overpriced. The new ones are still sold door to door with high-pressure salespeople but those people have really destroyed the company's reputation. They claim these vacuums will last a lifetime but the lifetime is really decided by the motor which is the same for many other vacuums on the market.

  • @wgenerotzky

    Many years ago my wife and I had a Kirby salesman come over to extol the virtues of the Kirby vacuum. His presentation got Real old... and in the process of enlightening us on it's awesome suction power mentioned in passing that it could even suck up nuts! By this time we had become quite annoyed with his extended presence and decided to let him display the vacuum's ability to suck up nuts and threw a small handful of grade 8 nuts onto the floor. Needless to say that that small aluminum impeller spinning at a billion rpm was not up to the task.
    It shook like it had the DTs and after a very short time of trying to sell us his new Kirby vibrator I escorted him out the door.
