    Thank you for this documentary. Some of us were too young at the time to truly understand his philosophies. He was a great man, honest, anti-corrupt, charming character but most of all a leader who who never stopped at nothing to maintain peace and encouraged unity. He was quite reasonable.

    Tanzania you should thank God for this wonderful leader, he was the best leader in East Africa, he was not a thief and didn't grab land like our Kenyan leaders. He was not a tribalist and that's why Tanzania is so united, l wish Tanzania all the best, my country Kenya needs prayers.

  • @bayekefarijala5042
    @bayekefarijala5042 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    God used him in his time not only for liberation of of Tanzania but also many of colonized countries in Africa, but see, where is Tanzania today economically, struggling and the countries like SA, who were trained to fight for their freedom have completely forgotten what we did for SA. Mandela was little wise he showed and wanted to show the South Africans not to forget Tanzania their Allies for freedom(he built Nelson Mandela University of science here in Tanzania, I believe to show gratitudes). Nyerere was blessed with high IQ(he was a genius), Very strong in lidership. South Africa have a little blessed with technology the thing that make difference between Africa and the well developed countries but they don't help Africa at all, they could transfer the technology to the rest of Africa just like Nyerere when he realize God blessed him and his country with understanding of how to get freedom he wanted to help the rest of African colonized countries to gain their independence. We Africans have another threat to fight again its no thing other than poverty, and technology is the way out of it. We do have so many natural resources but without having technologies we are going no where. And the these former colonial powers won't help us at all, because they know where we have been stranded and they do not want to help us because they have made us their source of raw materials and market for their goods, they don't want to teach us technology instead they want us to be beggars and laugh at us as they pretend to give us aids. I know my president Magufuli is hunted by dreams to liberate Tanzania and God is going to prepare people who will be sincere and loyal to this country. Tanzania is going to be great Nation and help the rest of Africa. South Africa was in position but they dispose the trusteeship God gave it to them to make Africa great again.

    it's not Miles, but Kilometers. Many African students went through that, but that's round trip daily. You leave early in the morning, walk 8 to 9 KM in group of kids, each with food and water for lunch, then walk the same distance back home at then end of school day. It sounds horrible, but it's fun, since there's no alternative, and kids love to go to school

    Nyerere alikubali katika hotuba yake ya Mei mosi 1995 kwamba alifanya vizuri katika mambo mengi ya msingi na alifanya makosa katika mengine. Not many former leaders in Africa admit after they've fucked up. He did. Tatizo la watu tegemezi wa akili (wengi wamo uraiani na serikalini) ni kwamba hawana ideas za kurekebisha "traffic jam" leo hii!

    Keeping African nations under unpayabale DEBTS in order to bleed their resources by multinational companies was a new approach instead of remaining in Africa as colonial masters. Good leaders who wanted good governance were killed; (that disapproves your point against Nyerere) as good governance means transparency in leadership and therefore, less money for multinational companies through corruption! Lumumba of Congo was killed;
