And here's the final fight. The first part is pretty easy while the second is probably the hardest fight in the game, at least to no damage.
If you lose at the second one you have to start all over again, and after hours of tries I got tired of it and leveled up in order to get Mega Flare.
On the second fight, Lethal Frame is really good. Marluxia's cards won't go higher than 24, so if you stock high number cards you'll likely break his sleights.

Marluxia’s T-Pose failed to even remotely damage Sora.
Found another way to bit it easily. Just ise all fire card all though the fight and equip replenish magic cards

Pay close attention to his face in KH2 when using the rc against Data Larxene. He remembers what she did, and he's still mad about it. It's one of the few times his model's facial expression changes during gameplay.

@@GreatNegus He doesn't, he never remembered. He knows Namine's name through other means and then sees her at the end of KH2. However, I seem to remember KH3 contradicting the past games on this, but I may be misremembering.
Regardless, I can personally buy that even tho Sora doesn't remember why he hates Larxene, he still feels incredibly angry subcontiously. Contradicted by KH3 again tho.

It's cool. He killed Larxene and Axel (he thought so anyway) beforehand, so he's used to having stained hands by now.
He knew they weren't human when Axel killed Vexen and Vexen turned into a bunch of weird threads.

I’m not gonna lie though, out of all KH boss fights, this one definitely always felt the most Final Fantasy-esque to me. Mainly because of whatever the hell that thing is behind him in the final phase. Looks like it’s straight out of a FF game

Oh my goodness, THANK YOU for posting this video. I've been going out of my mind trying to figure out how to defeat this dingbat for the past few days on Proud. The strat you used worked beautifully after a couple of tries getting used to the deck. I uploaded how my fight went on my channel if anyone wants to see (I still got damaged since I'm a scrub ugh lol).

while I love this game, Im truly BAD at it. My reaction time is just reprehensibly awful for this. I am so happy videos like yours exist where I can see how to just cheese bosses. Because honestly, normal enemy fights are overly trivial, while most boss fights are ridiculously busted.

I played the original first then a decade later once 1.5 came out I finally had the chance to play Re:chain of memories. When I saw Marluxia bust out his persona I thought I was fucked.....but I did have lethal frame ready...You already know the rest.

For those looking for a deck build that can help them beat both Marluxia forms, here's what worked for me. Your mileage may vary, and I'm definitely not a master at deck building or this game (first time playing this series, coming to this game after 1 was a real shock...). In summary, this deck is focused highly on Sleights, namely Sonic Blade. Form II is focused on basic attacking with no Sleights, while Form III I spammed the shit out of them. My CP at the time was around 1300 I believe.
My very first cards were specifically both Vexen and Marluxia. I picked Vexen specifically for insurance in case I fucked up (luckily it went unused for me), and Marluxia for... Marluxia, specifically form III. Having the ability to double up my Sleights against Form III and get a little extra damage for free was worth it to me. I then had 4 zero cards set up, namely to deal with both forms heavy attacks and Sleights. They are less necessary against Form II but invaluable for Form III (stopping his "guaranteed to kill you if you fuck up" Sleight Doom is very nice, though it is dodgeable). After my zero cards, I then filled my deck with enough cards to form at least 10 Sonic Blade Sleights. In Form II, you should NOT use Sonic Blade, as they will miss him because of how high he floats, but Form III is right on the ground and in range. Now unfortunately, Form III is NOT stunned by Sonic Blade like other bosses, but the damage is solid and I was able to kill him with this Sleight after a couple of reloads. For these cards, try and fit as many 7's, 8's, and 9's as you can while still forming the Sonic Blade Sleights, as Form II typically uses cards at around level 7 (this also comes in handy during Form III's fight with the Doom ability) Finally, I had at least 4 Cures in my deck, and I believe 2 Hi Potions (to restore all the cards lost from the Sleights). I did not use Ethers as I did not have any spell cards, and I didn't use Elixers either since they were similarly redundant (and expensive).
My strategy for Form II consisted of simply mashing Cross on each scythe, canceling his moves with my zero cards and healing myself up when needed. Its slow, but I was able to kill Form II after reloading a couple of times only. Form III was even more brain dead. As soon as I could move, I first selected my Marluxia card (Use the Select button for those unaware... I went half the game not knowing that you had to do that to activate enemy cards....) to get Double Sleights, then spammed as many Sonic Blades as I could. There were times where he would break them (thankfully only a couple of times), and I was able to do some serious damage to him before having to reload using a Hi Potion (make sure you select your Vexen Card for insurance after the Marluxia card wears off). Watch out for his Doom Sleight, break it with a Zero, or if you can't avoid it, make sure you have a fairly full deck of cards out so you can break out of it. Having lots of high value cards makes it easier to break out, and 0's work as well. You DON'T want to have an empty deck and get hit by that attack.
I'm sure there are better deck builds to deal with both forms; I just went in with a basic build and hoped for the best, and it worked for me. Hopefully this is useful for someone else. I definitely can't wait to finish Reverse/Rebirth so I can move on from Chain of Memories, and go to a more basic battle system. I'm not a fan of the card system that is for sure!

the final version of Marluxia is one of the most beautiful scenes I've ever experienced; from the music to the end form, just exquisite. ughh.
Boss Marluxia: spam Mega Flare. Use Marluxia’s card and any red nocturne cards you have. Don’t forget to use mega-ethers or elixirs to regain your first stocked cards. For Mega Flare, have the total amount be exactly 10 since Boss Marluxia never plays sleights or use a 0 card.
Final boss Marluxia: spam lethal frame. Marluxia’s card lets you double cast it. You’ll need a total value of I’d say 24 or so to make sure Marluxia can’t break it. Again, it’s vital to have mega ethers or elixirs to regain those first stocked cards. Before starting the final showdown, set the first card for lethal frame as your shortcut card so you can start preparing it right away.

I have a feeling that Marluxia's guardian is supposed to represent Strilezia, due to the figure being female and you can kinda make out tears on it's face possibly representing Marluxia's lost memory of his previous life.

Took me 2 tries to beat this guy (Underestimated his cyclone attack and Omni-Laser attacks which got me killed)
I got through this entire fight spamming ragnarok, first with the marluxia enemy card to get double sleights, then with the Jafar genie enemy card to make sleights unbreakable. Pretty sure I didn't get hit doing that considering the poor chap couldn't do a single thing
lethal frame from this game is why i think chain of memories sora with the card system is the strongest character you play in kh as you can literally do so much damage at like level 50 and theres so many just op shit in his armory the amount of cheeses you can do and decks you can build are insane

I managed to kill him without sleights. Turns out he deals pretty big damage with a normal keyblade swings. In his final form it's crucial to keep a few zero's to cancel his annoying attacks.
I love lethal frame and I wish I would’ve read the Marluxia card before I beat him.

For noobs like me, I'd recommend using Ragnarok deck with Jafar, it is really easy to build. For his 3rd form also use Ragnarok and Jafar, have some 5-6 cards of 8 and 9 value in case he uses doom. Worked out for me. I did take a lot of damage, but the deck was easy to build 👍

To be simple never increase HP focus on CP and sleight.
Focus on AoE sleight for Mob fights, for boss fight Malus Card such as Jafar (prevent the boss to break any Keyblade Cards and this work with Sleight so has long as you use a sleight with at leat one Keyblade Card it can be break) combine with powerfull sleight are the key the more you can use sleight the easier it will be.
Just don't level hp at all. Just butt rape mobs and bosses with sleight gimmicks.

With this new deck, first try. Even tho last phase was kinda messy and for some time all my cards were flying through the room, still managed to kill him.

This boss was difficult but it's amazing i could beat the second stage at the first try (the first stage was at the second one)
This boss wasnt that hard for me. I just Card blocked his attacks for his first phase and then spammed sonic blade for his second.(this was done on my first try)

This guy is alot of fun. Takes a while. 1st part isn't hard at all. You can cancel any of his attacks if you have high value cards. Seriously I had a blast beating this guy.
The second part is very easy all you have to really do is break his cards
Have 5/6 Lethal Frame, 2/3 Mega Flare and use Marluxia card for Lethal Frame. Plus i reccomand megaelixir and a bunch of 0 cards
@@saasmaster3742 all i did was break his sleights with 0s and then strategically spammed my high cards I didnt use any sleights to win this one.
Mainly because it was harder for me to try and use sleights in that specific battle.

I just leveled to lvl 88 before finding out that you can beat him like at lvl 70 or less, to late for me 😢
You can beat him at level 50. His first form just needs you to have magic and magic boost to spam at him and just stack 6 or 7 zeros for his second form, dodge his easily dodged attacks, break his sleights every time he uses them, easiest final boss in the series.
Beat him at lv 35.. spam firaga lulz
