      It helps a lot to get cards that do more damage, but it is best to organize them to perform better attacks. 😉😉😉

      My 9/10yo ass snapped the hinges of my GBA SP trying to beat Maleficent. Over half a year later I was eventually given a replacement, and with a lot of time and effort, I did eventually manage to beat both modes of CoM. To say it was a formative experience for me would be an understatement.

    I gotta say, the dialog for the GBA Com is much better than Re:com. Sora's a lot more sassier with "Get real Marluxia...", and everyone else sounds more natural. Watching this fight again after many years, I'm reminded why I never finished Com until after KH2, due to its difficulty. Spamming sleights with Genie Jafar doesn't work in this version, and you need to use your brain if you wanna progress. I remember being stuck on Riku IV because my 8 year old mind couldn't understand the combat system, which amazes me how I even got that far. No way I would have beaten this version of Marluxia during that time, he'd one shot my ass easily.

      Glad to know I wasn't the only one...him, Axel II, and Larxene II were both pains in the butts!! Never finished Riku's final boss either. ;-;

    Marluxia throwing 0 cards everytime I try using high number sleights makes me want to break the console. His patterns are stupid hard and sending out Cloud just for him to miss HARD is a given

    I swear the games ger easier as the years go by. I remember being so pissed off at this fight that I cheesed it by putting just 0s and using them when he uses something until I eventually kill. Riku Replica was the worst for me. I remember quitting and coming back to the game two or three times. At first I didn't know that you could edit your deck so I gave up when i got to the Monstro fight where you have to fill up that bar. Like 2 years later my first cousin is messing around with my gameboy and I look at it and see that she changed my deck. I was so confused and then when I realized that you could change the deck I easily beat the Monstro last fight. And then the last Riku fight I think was either this one or the one where you fight him in front of some big gate I remember being so goddamn difficult that it made me quit again. And I was a kid when I played this for the first time so I sucked really badly. I remember bringing my gameboy sp to my grandparents house over the summer even though I didn't really play it. At that time I showed it to my other cousins while we were playing outside and one of them casually comes to me and tells me that he easily won the fight. He is about 4 years older than me so he realized game mechanics quickly and beat Riku Replica without any problems. I don't remember to this day if I beat the final boss Ansem on my save file.

      I must tell you that it is not an easy game. Especially when you don't know much about the mechanics. The first time I played it, I reached the end without knowing about the combinations and it was extremely difficult to win. I played it a second time to get the best weapons and discovered this mechanic which was much easier for me. It is an incredible game and thanks to it I was able to learn about the Kingdom Hearts saga 😍😍😍

      I use Sleights most of the time when fighting and Flare with fire+gravity+gravity to do massive damage to enemies. I also level up in order with HP, CP, and Sleights in order and just keep doing it in a pattern until my stats is maxed out.

      Man, I wish I knew about the series back in my days...
      Though, if I knew about it back then I'd probably not get any consoles so I'd have to emulate, and also... my English was very bad back then...

      Also, I remember back in my day I was stuck on a single boss in one game, and one of two big bosses (there are like 10 minibosses) in another one
      Compared to many KH's bosses, these are easy af

    WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD EVER FIGHT MARLUXIA AT LEVEL 80?! The grind to get the other attack cards must have been insane! I didn't even know they were in OG COM until a few months ago.

    cant understate how horribly designed the bosses are in this game. the game emphasized sleights through the whole game and then throws them out the window for the last two bosses.

    • @hartantoanggoro

      Hardware limitation like MMZ3 Omega phase 3 boss, GBA can't handle the massive load of the boss animation so they cut it's moveset to the point it's horrible but remain as it is.

      @@1m0kay2.0 I wouldn't say it was horribly designed, but it definitely was overwhelming unless you learned to card break huge sleights with zeroes. The last few fights feel like skill checks to see whether or not you're burning through your entire deck by just spamming sleights instead of actually selectively picking which cards to use.

    • @KirikkSiSq
      @KirikkSiSq 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@JI0MB Marluxia 1 wasn't really that hard. Spamming sleights and later basic cards actually worked
      Or maybe it's bc I'm over level 60...
