4M - Matandang Mayaman, Madaling Mamatay. Its a saying among Filipinos which means "dirty old man, dies early". Its an old expression and its not just apply to foreigners but even to local people.
It's a saying among many women when they are desperate due to poverty. In the beginning the relationship will be that way, bec. she doesn't know you, your culture and their is no love at the beginning. But when she fall inlove with you and you have connection, that expression dies.
Also, that's how local people see you when you dated a young Filipina; the 4M. It's a given when you are older than your wife; she outlives you and women generally outlive men, especially if we don't take care of ourselves, but it's wrong to assume she wanted you to die early, it's not in our culture that you curse your spouse to die early because of money and posessions. In our culture it's the husband duty to care for your family, so we dont curse someone to die early. As you know you can live happily in Philippines even your not rich and you see it among locals.

The 4 Ms - Matandang, Mayaman, Madaling, and MamatayIt. I learned this one back in the 90's when I was staying in the Philippines. This video was a pleasant refresher/relearning moment in this mating ritual. Some Filipinas laugh at the WOKE expat, like Marilyn did, while other Filipinas react annoyed because the expat is WOKE to the game.
I still struggle to believe how an old, broken down expat is that clueless to put it together why a very young, juicy Filipina is servicing him.

The 4M game doesn't sound all that bad ... At least not for the 75 year old man. If the Filipina is not trying to take his life and she is being a loving wife, then it's a win-win situation for both. I am currently 70 years young and I like the idea of having constant access to a girl in her early 20's. If she is treating me with love and respect until the day I die, leaving her with a great financial inheritance is well worth it.

The way I feel honestly. At that age to have someone treat you good. Care for you. Respect an honor you what is the big deal. If any man/ woman in their right mind would even think that This was not a Thing? He or she are fooling themselves. For some it's much better than dying in a old folk's home with no one who gives two cents about you. And they probably would have died sooner but the usefulness of the young person actually helps revive them.( Go out with a bang / smile )🎉😊
There's a good side of that what we call 4m's. Getting old in your country is sucks, facts. While getting old with a young partner, what did you get? Happy remaining life. She will do all what she can to convince you that you are loved. Though it's a bad thing to know that she's after of everything that you have but she's worthy of it because she will surely makes you happy and taking cared of.
In America there is a story of a Filipino Nurse inheriting millions of dollars when her patient died. The nurse worked 7 days a week for 12 hours a day for her patients. Of course the greedy family members sued. The greedy family members never visited and still won the lawsuit.

In the United States, if you are middle-age and have a certain amount of life experience, you probably have already came to the realization that love (not lust) at first sight is a product of Hollywood. Many people marry someone they don't love but they enjoy spending time with that person and love may come later. Obviously, many older men come to the Philippines to get a younger wife/girlfriend and as long as they both fulfill each other's needs they don't have to love each other. As long as the young Filipina has the patience to wait for her spouse to die and don't feel the need to speed the process along, I don't see any problem in this type of relationship.

If I could afford to take care of a woman who would take care of all my needs - I would willingly GIVE HER EVERYTHING I'VE GOT when I die! Why not? In my experience, Filipinas are the most flexible, giving, comfortable to be around of any women I have known. That's all men want. Comfort. Peace of mind - not some broad yackty-yakkking, trying to change him, or wants to treat him like crap on the side while she runs around with someone else. Calvin you SERIOUSLY need to read the book “The Manipulated Man” by Esther Vilar.
It’s a 69 page book written by a woman about women’s true nature and it’s kind of depressing. It’s the DEFINITION of nitty gritty no sugar coating honestly. Every man must read it. One day your sons should read it too.
Women have been sending her death threats for years, so that should tell you the quality of the book.

Ive read that book several times and its pretty spot on in my opinion on describing the female instinct. Its free online. She was a doctor and really talks alot of what Calvin describes all the time: The guy stuck in the dead end job with not much to look forward to and the female exploiting that. I dont blame women for that by the way. We have our instincts and they have theirs. Just need to understand the real rules of the game. The cool part of this book is that she published it pretty much at the height of feminism and like Blackterren says she was threatened over and over again.

We had been married for years and I didn't hear about tampo until Cal mentioned it in one of his vlogs recently....My wife does not play tampo, so It was kind of irreverent in our relationship. I don't think it was a matter of hiding information.

I can't imagine what else it could be. I would never, ever, think for one moment that, at 60 years of age, a beautiful twenty-something year old lady would want me for anything more than financial security. I believe that is a primary factor when a woman reaches a certain age, anyway.

They both get what they want, as the intentions are clear, if only common sense on both sides is applied; the old man gets the sweet nighttime love, and she gets the money. It is a win-win situation for both. Otherwise, why would an old man get with someone less than half his age? And why would the young lady get with a man with one foot already in the grave? I do not condem the situation, and I certainly do not feel pitty for either party. As for me, I made certain that I got with a lady near my age. I had young ones coming for me in the droves, but I politely but firmly told them no thanks.
