In my experience with Filipinas, the jealousy is also about a fear that another Filipina will scoop him up. I can see why there is jealousy. Communication is very important. I have seen some Filipinas - who are with Black men even here in the states - treat them like children. Wanting to know what they are doing, where they are, wanting a detailed accounting of what they did in their day. They have to know that he is not a child but a grown man. Example: I was out hiking and I saw a couple (Black man and a Filipna), we stopped and chatted for a while. She was in full control over him. He wanted to talk some more but she did not want him to. He could not get a word in edgewise. While he was a grown man, he appeared so childlike. I got the impression that she did not let him out of her sight.

In my experience with Filipinas, the jealousy is also about a fear that another Filipina will scoop him up. I can see why there is jealousy.
Communication is very important.
I have seen some Filipinas - who are with Black men even here in the states - treat them like children. Wanting to know what they are doing, where they are, wanting a detailed accounting of what they did in their day.
They have to know that he is not a child but a grown man.
Example: I was out hiking and I saw a couple (Black man and a Filipna), we stopped and chatted for a while. She was in full control over him. He wanted to talk some more but she did not want him to. He could not get a word in edgewise.
While he was a grown man, he appeared so childlike.
I got the impression that she did not let him out of her sight.
