Thanks for stopping by today my vlog is addressing the myth that foreign men have their pick of women here, it's not true. This vlog is not about the size of the Filipino I use it to make my point. Please don't miss this. I apologize so many missed my point. Take care.
That is so so true! I have been married twice(1st one died) to Filipina and still married for 13 yrs . They majority of Filipinas prefer their own. Do not get in a situation where they make more money than you because you will see a drastic change. It does not matter if you were the one who helped them achieve the higher position. They seem to have a thing, where whoever is making more money or higher degree status rules. Cooperation and dual leadership is not their way. I have seen it in Filipino church I attended. I see how the wives who are nurses treat their Filipino husbands. I even witnessed it in a supermarket while in Davao back in 2006. Be careful guys . The Filipina you bring here in the US can easily become they type of women you left the US to avoid and may even be worst because you invested so much into her. Please have a backup plan, when dealing with any woman in general. While you may have been upfront about what you want in the relationship, she may be just going along with you to achieve her goals. She may even still love you but her true colors will show eventually then you are stuck with making the decision of wether or not you want to be with that type of woman. My first wife had a thing, that we never go to sleep angry at each other, so issues were always cleared up by the end of the day. Well, that is NOT THE NORM with Filipinas. Although most Filipinas are Christians, they will give silent treatment from 2 to 3 weeks for the smallest disagreements. Most Filipinas do not care about eating healthy, so if you are health conscious, look for a Filipina that is already into doing that. The Filipina who wants you, will go along with healthy eating to make you feel everything is ok, but once you are married or/and they making more money, they will tell you that it is not for them. Please be quiet, and find the ones which are the way you want.
I'm a Filipino and watch Sunshine Shoulders' TH-cam channel from time to time because I like how he narrates he's funny and animated... I watched this video because of an offended Filipina about the Filipino's 4 inches 😂 this taken out of context but I get what he's saying. This is Hilarious though😂
Women the world over are looking for a stable relationship , love, trust, fait, financial security, etc. sex is secondary. That’s not only Filipina but the world over!

This is well said and very true for the most part. I worked in an office for years in Manila with ladies who were well educated and middle class or above and I can assure you most weren’t throwing themselves at foreigners. Most of the foreign hookups are with province girls who don’t have financially stability or their Filipino man left them. Dating a foreigner provides that financial security. You see it all the time with 60+ year olds dating a girl in her 20’s. In most case a key motivation is financial security….no that she always dreamed of marrying her grandfather.this doesn’t mean you have to throw tons of money at them, but you should be realistic behind her reasoning. Next time ask your gf if she would date a Filipino man her grandfathers age and she will most likely give you a look of disgust.
You hit another one out the ballpark. In the years that I’ve been visiting, dating and living in the Philippines, this is so true. Foreigners get the rejects and leftovers of Filipino men. We get all the single mother’s, and all the women that have been used and abused. Of course, not all 100% of the women that we get but a vast majority. I have a friend who is married to a Filipina, and has three sisters. Two of those sisters are married to foreigners, one is from Norway, the other Japan. The younger sister is not married yet. I asked her if she would like me to introduce her to one of my friends from the US. She didn’t say no, she said hell NO. I was shocked, that all her sisters had foreigners for partners, and she didn’t want. Talked to my buddy, and he told me she only want a Filipino, and he has tried to set her up and was told no. So even when her life was made easier by the money that was being sent from overseas, and she was able to go to college because of the money, she still wants a Filipino. I don’t blame her, it’s just that she didn’t seem to appreciate what her sisters were doing to help the family. Keep telling the “nitty gritty” brother. Have a great day.

Calvin, I first moved to the Philippines in 99. The number of foreigners who are decent and good "Husband material" is only a fraction of foreign men who visit the Philippines. In 20 years of experience I can say that more filipinas would marry a good foreigner, if they were around. I have often been asked by very pretty and intelligent filipinas if I "Knew anyone...". Usually, the answer is no. Here is another observation of years, without the "Sugar coating" as you say. At least half, maybe more, of the men who come to the Philippines are CRETINS who I would not recommend to ANY decent Filipina. This was the case 20 years ago and it still the case today.
I guess it depends a little on your personal circle don't ya think? If you know that many scum bags, it's not a great reflection on you, unless you're just talking to every white face you encounter on the street and you have incredible skills to read a guy instantly. The majority of guys I got to know are decent people. I learn about most despicable guys on the vlogs I watch. I dunno...

@@calroach1 The contradiction is not in what foreigners believe. The contradiction is what Philipinas prefer. We have been told by many sources on TH-cam (including accounts by Philipinas) that they prefer and want foreigners, especially White skin foreigners (and age differences not being a deterrent) but these same Philipinas are hardly, never seen on TH-cam with Philipino partners who are significantly older showing off their love and respect for them. Filipinas prefer Filipino men and once we realize that we can't just come over here and have any woman we want it puts things in perspective.

I think that most people are more comfortable being with someone of the same culture. A relationship of any kind can be very hard, and when you are the same culture it helps relieve one of the problems.
This is a mandatory watch for ANY man who desires to date abroad. It applies to every country, not just the Philippines. It took a lot stones to speak a reality that most men can’t even conceptualize. That being said, I’m still paying the Philippines a visit when I get the chance. Salute.

In my opinion, the younger guy shouldn’t come over here and waist his time, unless it’s to vacation. These women here and the younger guys really won’t mix well. Priorities are different and the guy is going to be let down unless he’s in a position financially to make a long term commitment.

I totally agree with u Calvin and I experience this with my exwife who came from a different culture. No matter how much I showered her with love and gifts, it couldn't override from where she came from. Take your time fellows and invest in their culture and understanding before committed.
I don't about anybody's size but as you said Filipinas look first for compatability in a relationship and that will be highest with a Filipino. But, if they ended a relationship or 2 due to cheating by the guy, then they will be open to most foreigners most of the time.
Great video. Of course most filipina's would prefer someone from their own country until they've had a bad experience that makes them see the benefits of what a foreigner can offer them. Every woman in America is a leftover woman who's had who only knows how many before you, regardless if they're 18, 25, or 30 plus. I'm just thankful that a small percentage of these wonderful filipina women will consider us as options. :)
It doesn't matter what your preference is, it is always wrong to generalize. There are good and bad women of every race anything else is just not the truth.
Thanks Calvin. Now please bear with me. Here's my take on the Filipina preference. There's a list and a shared mother-tongue is at the top of that list! Why? I'm guessing it lies in the first word, "mother." I have spent time in about 25 different countries and after hearing the local language for a few days, it warms my heart when I hear my mother-tongue. Other people have said the same thing. I was in the Hanoi (Vietnam) area a few years ago, where English is rarely heard. One day my Viet friends and I were out when I heard a Viet tour guide speaking German--a language I understand fairly well. I was instantly drawn to the group, and started joking with the guide--in German (Usually I'm a shy person). A few hours later, I heard a guide speaking French, another familiar language, and again I was drawn to a familiar and soothing sound. I'm not sure what penis size has to do with anything--really! Lesbians despite having not the same equipment as men, are happy with each other. My bigger point: learn a lot of the woman's language--AND her culture, and your chances will be improved. I've been there. Done that.
You make a good point saying filipinas prefer to marry filipino men because he can better relate to her struggles in life more so than a foreign man. But you go off track saying she prefers him because of his 4", that really isn't the primary reason. She prefers him because he's in the same boat and there's a genuine connection between them. She tolerates his 4" because he offers emotional support, which is most important to her.
I never said she prefers him for his 4" go back and watch again. I said despite the apparent advantages you may have and his shortcomings she will choose him 96.5% of the time. Get real man.

He's right. I walked through the mall and felt invisible. I got a few looks here and there, but Filipina's are so acclimated to foreigners today vs 15-20 years ago when Yahoo chat WAS THE SOCIAL MEDIA to find a foreigner. Many Americans back then still did not have a desktop computer let alone an internet connection vs today everyone does. That mysterious aura surrounding a foreigner walking through a mall would have caught looks from every filipina walking by back then. Today I'm sure they have seen the negative side of arrogant, obnoxious drunks and have been turned off somewhat.
Depends on your experience I am 56 6 foot 6 and am very athletic and well built 2 and a half years ago before my Filipina girl I had girls giggling and approaching me at the malls it was overwhelming...so depends on your situation girls everywhere still want a man that looks good and takes care of himself

Hense the average looking white guy who's in decent shape with a decent income that's viewed by Western women an unattractive, under-achieving chump may be seen as a real "catch" by many Filipinas. Having a solid Western income only adds to the attraction. One white guy from the States said coming to the Phils felt like he was the most popular guy in High School. Reekay, from "Reekay's Life Beyond the Sea" said if you're a reasonably attractive Westerner out with your Filipina Girlfriend and she (girlfriend) leaves for the bathroom or exits for whatever, it's not unusual for Filipinas to slip you their phone number/contact info. That’s another myth only the lower socioeconomic class maybe but the upper class and rich stick to their own for the most part young upper class and higher filipinas are NOT even thinking about foreigners especially senior citizens at that its true what Calvin is saying.

As a matter of fact they tend to stay away from these sort of women because they tend to be super entitled, obnoxious and way more demanding than plain Jane with just a simple retail job but is still plain gorgeous. That is why so many very successful, financially well off women in America end up single in America too. So it is the case in the Philippines. They get all these high level degrees and great careers and they think those things are going to attract high value top 5% men. It does not. As a matter of fact it repelled them. Actually there are many with more the 4 inches. But the reality is a loving, loyal and honest partner is more important. Sex is a bonus for sure but not on top of the list. I was married to a Vietnamese-Chinese wife. Adapting to a new culture was much more difficult for her than me. It didn't work out. Cross-cultural marriages are very difficult.
I hate when her and her Filipino man have the agreement when the foreigners come to see her that he will stay away till he leaves and all the money the foreigner is giving her maybe support she’s giving some of that money to her Filipino man and then when she Marrys the foreigner it’s all good she will divorce the foreigner one day become a us citizen then petition her Filipino man to come and join her that’s how they do it scary to think about but it happens.

This is so true.... i dated a Filipina woman for more than 20 years when I was in the military and she was married to a white guy. Only for security I thought... but she really wanted a brown Filipina man to make her feel right. However, I am not Filipino, I'm Latino..... but it didn't matter to her........ I would say she fitted in the 3%.
While it's true when Calvin says that you "can't run up on any woman you see" in the Phils, for the average guy from the USA (that's treated like an unattractive, under-achieving chump by American women), coming to the Phils where beautiful Pinays are way, way more approachable (even if they're not into you) is a refreshing, if not pleasantly shocking change.

Me and my Prom Date are still like that… We always circle back from time to time, over the past 30 yrs. And it’s always good. She widowed, I’m divorced. We live a few states apart. But that bond will always be there.
I think anyone prefers their own first. You have a common culture, language and many other things. When you get into dating and dealing with people from different countries and cultures it can be hard. Many other countries outside of the west seem to have a more nationalist viewpoint. Like you said in your video it's enough to go around over there but I see how certain people can be cocky.
Philippines is NOT the smallest penis size. You are correct 4.2 however there are a couple of countries that have smaller ones. Korea, India, Thailand, Japan, Cambodia and a few more

It's not rocket science, they share a culture, background, and language. But you're talking about the lower income. My wife of going on 15 years came from a Lower Middle-Class family. There isn't a doubt in my mind, she would be married right now to a Filipino if she could have found the right one. She wasn't interested in a foreigner. She hadn't found him and she wasn't getting any younger. She had a friend that was married to an American. She took an interest, her friend introduced us, she was 34, lucky me. Middle-Class income families are harder, but not impossible. Upper Middle Class and beyond, forget about it, for the most part.
@ David Spicer, lucky for us foreigners that a majority of the population in PH are Lower Middle-Class or lower lower and poverty levels. If the majority were middle class and upper middle class the foreigners would be fighting to find a women. Especially older men like myself.

@@danielhackney7806 The majority here I think are the poor and the low-income. Probably somewhere around 60 million people. The Lower Middle-Class, or Lower Middle Income, now starts at around P22,000 a month and tops out at about twice that. It was MUCH lower when I moved here almost 15 years ago.
@@calroach1 I guess some are unaware that there are women here not interested in foreigners. And the middle income up, it gets worse the farther up the social classes that you go. Many have no interest in foreigners whatsoever. And they aren't necessarily rich.
I am black american. I like black, white, asian, latino women. But at the end of the day, when I wake up and cannot urinate because of an erection, it is always after a dream about a black woman. Even when I was in the philippines Angeles city, I saw a black pinay bargirl. She made the rounds until she got to my table, and she said, I saw you pointing and jumping up and down. I could not wait to get to her. I did the barfine. Took some pictures. When I showed people they were mesmerized by her. It not prejudice, you like what you grow up with. I love looking at pictures of women wearing afros and mini shirts.
The fact that 96% of the local women marry local men does not mean that 96% prefer the locals. It just means the locals were there so that’s who they dated. If the country had 50 million foreign men and only a few thousand Filipino men then the local women would mostly marry foreigners. Who is available to them is the biggest factor in who they marry.

I was crazy in love with him because my family said that I have to preserve my virginity for my future husband because that is very important to Fil man. We filipina, most of us we remain loyal to our bf especially to the man who took our virginity. We don't have the idea of changing our bf but unfortunately my ex fil bf was heartless. I understand you can't get any women there but they re not all the same. There's the group that prefer filipinos more and there's also a group that looks up to and admires foreigners, especially americans. What Calvin is saying is relative in every culture nothing special about what he is saying. Most White women marry white men, Black women marry Black men, asian women marry Asian men's and on and on. Calvin have to understand when you put it in per Capita only then can you say what the true preference is. There's not enough black men's in the Philippines to truly say what they think. I'm in the Philippines and I know other married black men in my neighborhood and i can tell you they love us here the problem is the same the world over they are afraid of the back lash from their families it's not because they are not attracted to us they are afraid. But there some that are bold and don't care what the Fellows are saying.

Sure, many women would have commonality with guys from their own culture and who speak their language, and that would be an advantage, all else being equal. The size thing is a little funny, so I just thew that in there for good measure. You know, it's a shaming thing among blue pilled guys, and western women. So a lot of western guys bring that attitude over. I even heard a 'joke' that smaller guys go for Asian women because they've been shamed by western women. That is so so true! I have been married twice(1st one died) to Filipina and still married for 13 yrs . They majority of Filipinas prefer their own. Do not get in a situation where they make more money than you because you will see a drastic change. It does not matter if you were the one who helped them achieve the higher position. They seem to have a thing, where whoever is making more money or higher degree status rules. Cooperation and dual leadership is not their way. I have seen it in Filipino church I attended. I see how the wives who are nurses treat their Filipino husbands. I even witnessed it in a supermarket while in Davao back in 2006. Be careful guys . The Filipina you bring here in the US can easily become they type of women you left the US to avoid and may even be worst because you invested so much into her. Please have a backup plan, when dealing with any woman in general. While you may have been upfront about what you want in the relationship, she may be just going along with you to achieve her goals. She may even still love you but her true colors will show eventually then you are stuck with making the decision of wether or not you want to be with that type of woman. My first wife had a thing, that we never go to sleep angry at each other, so issues were always cleared up by the end of the day. Well, that is NOT THE NORM with Filipinas. Although most Filipinas are Christians, they will give silent treatment from 2 to 3 weeks for the smallest disagreements. Most Filipinas do not care about eating healthy, so if you are health conscious, look for a Filipina that is already into doing that. The Filipina who wants you, will go along with healthy eating to make you feel everything is ok, but once you are married or/and they making more money, they will tell you that it is not for them. Please be quiet, and find the ones which are the way you want.

I worked in an office for years in Manila with ladies who were well educated and middle class or above and I can assure you most weren’t throwing themselves at foreigners. Most of the foreign hookups are with province girls who don’t have financially stability or their Filipino man left them. Dating a foreigner provides that financial security. You see it all the time with 60+ year olds dating a girl in her 20’s. In most case a key motivation is financial security….no that she always dreamed of marrying her grandfather.this doesn’t mean you have to throw tons of money at them, but you should be realistic behind her reasoning. Next time ask your gf if she would date a Filipino man her grandfathers age and she will most likely give you a look of disgust.

You hit another one out the ballpark. In the years that I’ve been visiting, dating and living in the Philippines, this is so true. Foreigners get the rejects and leftovers of Filipino men. We get all the single mother’s, and all the women that have been used and abused. Of course, not all 100% of the women that we get but a vast majority.
I have a friend who is married to a Filipina, and has three sisters.
Two of those sisters are married to foreigners, one is from Norway, the other Japan. The younger sister is not married yet. I asked her if she would like me to introduce her to one of my friends from the US. She didn’t say no, she said hell NO. I was shocked, that all her sisters had foreigners for partners, and she didn’t want. Talked to my buddy, and he told me she only want a Filipino, and he has tried to set her up and was told no. So even when her life was made easier by the money that was being sent from overseas, and she was able to go to college because of the money, she still wants a Filipino. I don’t blame her, it’s just that she didn’t seem to appreciate what her sisters were doing to help the family.

Calvin, I first moved to the Philippines in 99. The number of foreigners who are decent and good "Husband material" is only a fraction of foreign men who visit the Philippines. In 20 years of experience I can say that more filipinas would marry a good foreigner, if they were around. I have often been asked by very pretty and intelligent filipinas if I "Knew anyone...". Usually, the answer is no. Here is another observation of years, without the "Sugar coating" as you say. At least half, maybe more, of the men who come to the Philippines are CRETINS who I would not recommend to ANY decent Filipina. This was the case 20 years ago and it still the case today.
I guess it depends a little on your personal circle don't ya think? If you know that many scum bags, it's not a great reflection on you, unless you're just talking to every white face you encounter on the street and you have incredible skills to read a guy instantly. We have been told by many sources on TH-cam (including accounts by Philipinas) that they prefer and want foreigners, especially White skin foreigners (and age differences not being a deterrent) but these same Philipinas are hardly, never seen on TH-cam with Philipino partners who are significantly older showing off their love and respect for them. That's all I'm saying...if that makes any sense.

Thanks Calvin. Now please bear with me. Here's my take on the Filipina preference. There's a list and a shared mother-tongue is at the top of that list! Why? I'm guessing it lies in the first word, "mother." I have spent time in about 25 different countries and after hearing the local language for a few days, it warms my heart when I hear my mother-tongue. Other people have said the same thing. I was in the Hanoi (Vietnam) area a few years ago, where English is rarely heard. One day my Viet friends and I were out when I heard a Viet tour guide speaking German--a language I understand fairly well. I was instantly drawn to the group, and started joking with the guide--in German (Usually I'm a shy person). A few hours later, I heard a guide speaking French, another familiar language, and again I was drawn to a familiar and soothing sound. I'm not sure what penis size has to do with anything--really! Lesbians despite having not the same equipment as men, are happy with each other. My bigger point: learn a lot of the woman's language--AND her culture, and your chances will be improved. I've been there. Done that.
You make a good point saying filipinas prefer to marry filipino men because he can better relate to her struggles in life more so than a foreign man. But you go off track saying she prefers him because of his 4", that really isn't the primary reason. She prefers him because he's in the same boat and there's a genuine connection between them. She tolerates his 4" because he offers emotional support, which is most important to her.

I got a few looks here and there, but Filipina's are so acclimated to foreigners today vs 15-20 years ago when Yahoo chat WAS THE SOCIAL MEDIA to find a foreigner. Many Americans back then still did not have a desktop computer let alone an internet connection vs today everyone does. That mysterious aura surrounding a foreigner walking through a mall would have caught looks from every filipina walking by back then. Today I'm sure they have seen the negative side of arrogant, obnoxious drunks and have been turned off somewhat.

This is so true.... i dated a Filipina woman for more than 20 years when I was in the military and she was married to a white guy. Only for security I thought... but she really wanted a brown Filipina man to make her feel right. However, I am not Filipino, I'm Latino..... but it didn't matter to her........ I would say she fitted in the 3%.
While it's true when Calvin says that you "can't run up on any woman you see" in the Phils, for the average guy from the USA (that's treated like an unattractive, under-achieving chump by American women), coming to the Phils where beautiful Pinays are way, way more approachable (even if they're not into you) is a refreshing, if not pleasantly shocking change.

I think anyone prefers their own first. You have a common culture, language and many other things. When you get into dating and dealing with people from different countries and cultures it can be hard. Many other countries outside of the west seem to have a more nationalist viewpoint. Like you said in your video it's enough to go around over there but I see how certain people can be cocky.

It's not rocket science, they share a culture, background, and language. But you're talking about the lower income. My wife of going on 15 years came from a Lower Middle-Class family. There isn't a doubt in my mind, she would be married right now to a Filipino if she could have found the right one. She wasn't interested in a foreigner. She hadn't found him and she wasn't getting any younger. She had a friend that was married to an American. She took an interest, her friend introduced us, she was 34, lucky me. Middle-Class income families are harder, but not impossible. Upper Middle Class and beyond, forget about it, for the most part.
@ David Spicer, lucky for us foreigners that a majority of the population in PH are Lower Middle-Class or lower lower and poverty levels. If the majority were middle class and upper middle class the foreigners would be fighting to find a women. Especially older men like myself.

@@danielhackney7806 The majority here I think are the poor and the low-income. Probably somewhere around 60 million people. The Lower Middle-Class, or Lower Middle Income, now starts at around P22,000 a month and tops out at about twice that. It was MUCH lower when I moved here almost 15 years ago.

The fact that 96% of the local women marry local men does not mean that 96% prefer the locals.
It just means the locals were there so that’s who they dated.
If the country had 50 million foreign men and only a few thousand Filipino men then the local women would mostly marry foreigners. Who is available to them is the biggest factor in who they marry.

What Calvin is saying is relative in every culture nothing special about what he is saying. Most White women marry white men, Black women marry Black men, asian women marry Asian men's and on and on. When we come over do we want a woman with the same attitudes as the women we left behind? I'd say that's an emphatic no! Maybe the truth is that you attract those who you are aligned and compatible with. A filipina is not for every foreigner, nor is every foreigner for a filipina. There's a certain 'fit' required (IMV).

Sure, many women would have commonality with guys from their own culture and who speak their language, and that would be an advantage, all else being equal. The size thing is a little funny, so I just thew that in there for good measure. You know, it's a shaming thing among blue pilled guys, and western women. So a lot of western guys bring that attitude over. I even heard a 'joke' that smaller guys go for Asian women because they've been shamed by western women. Ok, but doesn't that roughly correspond to the number of foreigners in the Phils? It seems that the sheer force of numbers would preclude more than about 1-2 million Filipinas from finding foreign men.
if i remember correctly 12K foreigners marry in the Philippines annually = 1K per month or around 3-4 per day
