Left alone, someone(s) could get really hurt messing around in the building. Or if you get roots in your pipes, you have to cut the roots out. And just in general, there are places you can go, purposely to destroy things. I've seen a place where you can destroy old electronics and a hotel where you can trash the room. It can be cathartic for some people. And since you're paying to destroy the stuff, and since (as mentioned) it's the entire purpose of the place, I don't see how that destruction could be bad.

It’s not always the case that people don’t date someone for personal reasons. And even if it is, getting angry isn’t exactly showing that one is a decent person. Accepting rejection gracefully is far more likely to have good results down the line. And the fact is people talk; someone who acts like a dick to a woman who rebuffs his advances is going to get around. Personally, I just avoided hitting on anyone and did my thing and found that women would hit on me. For some reason, the few times I tried, I wasn’t very good at it and gave up. I found it worked better to be the chasee rather than the chaser. 🤷🏻‍♂️

      I'm pretty sure it's guys like him Dr. Peterson was thinking of when he uttered the phrase "insufferable weasels" ...
      I would say the same: Nuance Now is totally insufferable. He uses 'I' alot, but, classic to a narcissistic personality, is so utterly detached from himself, he has no sense of an emotional, or even intellectual, insight in and of himself, resulting in him uttering whatever he thinks, with no filter, or even processing. He is just 'data dumping' - a more polite way of saying 'word vomiting', which is apt, as that is one of the many ways the body deals with what it thinks is toxic (although why it happens when I get migraines, I may never know ...) - on people. Only after people recover, and actual scan through the data more carefully, do they see issues that arose that caused the data dump to occur in the first place, but which he then switches by using the classic "wait ... you thought I was being serious ...??? Well, jokes on you, ya fool ..." ...
      The trouble is, with such a tangled mess he weaves, with the multiple backtracking, it makes it impossible to decide what is real, and what isn't. I have known a fair few 'pathological liars' - as I understand (perhaps wrongly ...) what that is - that everytime they talk about something, or another, your brain kinda half switches off, because of the feeling of being talked at, and not to, and you will never know, with any degree of certitude, what they are saying a) actually happened; and/or b) or actually knows what they're really talking about, instead of winging it, but don't you dare question either/both, else they'll throw their toys at your face ...
      Don't know how, nor why, but there's something that is very reminiscent of a budgerigar talking to a mirror, thinking it's talking directly at another, and not itself ...
      ... which is bad enough when it's a bird, but having an actual human talk like that, utterly devoid of self-awareness, or an understanding of their emotional self, in a psychologically healthy way, is actually pretty tragic, especially in the Shakespearian sence ...

    I Love How he suggests that people are flailing around in their cognitive dissonance when they break down his talking points point by point and very thoroughly in a manner that can only be performed if you actually listen to every word he said. I see people do this all the time that criticize me of not reading what they said when I respond to every single sentence that they posted. Somehow me responding line by line indicates that I didn't read any of the lines.

      I don't have reddit so I'm not an incel was a pretty funny argument. Either he's actually dumb enough to not understand what one is. Or he knows he is one and being part of any group makes him not special so he rejects it.

    This dude honestly scared me a lot after I watched your video, since a couple of weeks ago we had a university shooting here in Russia and the shooter made a huge post on a russian social network in which he says a lot of really f*cking similar things. He also had a pretentious writing style, he wrote about how people are generally idiots and he is the only one who sees things for what they are, how he would love to open people's eyes on the truth but it's kind of impossible since we're all sheeple. He also said that he feels like he is God himself. He talks how he really wants to make an impact and leave an impression on people, and here we come to a point where Nuance Now says that he does it with inflammatory content and "no one was really hurt", and our sick horrible shooter guy says that he wants to go and kill as much people as possible. He is in hospital now, being treated after he was shot by a police officer. He killed 8 people. Im sorry if it seems like a reach. But I'm just shocked and terrified how alike are both speeches. It's dangerous to have this narcissistic mindset and devalue people to this degree.

      "Speech is not dangerous" isn't a good way to put what you mean. Hitler was a master act at Speech as example.

      ..but he didn't start off with violence. It was discontent and animosity of the shoddy condition Germany saw itself from a weak peace treaty that crippled many German citizens.
      It started with his calling out of the government's "weak will" which upon gaining power and momentum became violent.
      As for legality, Idk where that line is even drawn. Third Wave Feminism and it's 'Kill All Men' mantra, or BLM Extremism calling for the removal of Whites, probably the KKK, no idea what they on about since that's not usually publicized.. the list goes on, but idk where that line exists, nor how to cross it -- but historically it always seems to lead to the same place.
      Retrospectively, just to be clear, not saying Nuance is/can/will tutn to something as such; only to point out the stretch isn't necessarily that big a leap even if we shouldn't make that leap.

    • @marcusreading3783
      @marcusreading3783 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @Ian Westby Depends on whos talking. Some random burk on a random forum? Harmless, at least on a grander scale. Someone with a following? More dangerous because more people who might agree with him or be vulnerable will hear that message.
      In my view, words have the power that we give them and that can range from insults to commands to open fire. A General in the army and me could both say the words 'fire the missiles' to the same people, but only the generals words would have any power.
      This guy is spouting bullshit and most people can see that, but he does have a potential following and that could be a threat. Am I saying he should be punted off the platform? Probably not (although he probably is violating some terms of service, but someone should probably keep an eye on him, just in case.

    • @marcusreading3783
      @marcusreading3783 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @Ian Westby Err, mate, did you even read my comment? I wasnt even talking about the guy in the video. I was talking about words and how much power they have.
      I almost agree with you in that men and women should be treated differently, but from the rest of your comment, I know you arent referring to the simple fact that men and women are simply different and 100% perfect equality in everything in life is simply impossible, at least until we figure out a way to modify people down to the genetic level.
      Also, 'to far gone'? Are you suggesting that treating women like actual people with their own hopes, dreams and desires rather than baby makers is a bad thing? You are right that its a modern thing, but so is the idea that slavery is bad, science is a good thing and medicine isnt from the Devil. Are you suggesting that we should go back to a time when we could own other people and burnt doctors at the stake when the cows got sick? Because thats what it sounds like.

    Was also thinking that he has a superiority complex, but turns the dial up to 11 with a full on messianic wankfest about saving men from emasculation.
    Which kind of reaffirms his "Project Tucker Wannabe" with the whole culture wars schtick

    He's monologuing. He's laying out his whole plan because he needs someone to be impressed. He's seeking narcissistic fuel. When his attempts at receiving positive notice and affirmation failed, he decided to swing in the opposite direction. It's classic narcissism. They need the attention, the notice, and when they can't get the positive they have nothing to lose in being negative and in fact are incentivised to be as shitty as possible because at that point any attention is enough to fuel him. He has this twisted power reassurance r*pist vibe going on. He wants to harm people but he wants reassurance that he is a good boy while doing it. Especially when he waxes eloquently about his projection about wanting to hurt women. His whole controversial video was about maximum harm to the group he desperately hates because they get more attention than he does. I don't think he's playing a character but he's definitely a cartoon. You can hear the cognitive dissonance, which is ironic. Everything he says is a projection of things he hates about himself and things which others have said to him. His whole schtick is "I'm rubber and you're glue" but wrapped up in more self congratulatory verbal masturbation.
    He also seems to be emulating a certain Onion boy.
