15:00 - Barry, the top of that thing is a *syringe*. Of course it'll go all wrong when you take it apart and pour the sauce in, instead of sucking it up like you do with a syringe.
Barry, that flavour injector was just a big syringe, you should have sucked up the sauce and the pushed out any air, the problems you had were likely because of how much air was in the syringe section.
@@HollehhMarie you're supposed to put the end in the sauce and pull the plunger out. like using a syringe. the plunger has an air tight seal which means that when he took it completely out and then put the plunger in, he also pushed in the air and caused pressure that forced the hot sauce out prematurely.

Hi Barry, you used the meat injector wrongly, human error not gadget error. You should hold on to the white part with the buttons to adjust the length of the needles or lock the gadget in place(P/S, thicker meat uses full length needles or thinner meat uses half length needles) and press it down while holding the white part to tenderise then press the top to inject the marinate into the meat.
To be fair, While Barry does use gadgets wrong on a pretty regular basis (to our amusement lol), a lot of that should have been written out in an instruction page, which didn’t come with the injector... there’s no way Barry was going to get how to use it without them, as we saw happen. No idea why these gadgets so frequently come without instructions... very odd.
Aren't you also supposed to put the sauce in as you would into a syringe? If you put it in through the top, you get too much air in and that's why it exploded.

I'm gonna have to disagree. It's not user error, or even gadget error, but manufacturer error. They did not include any instructions for their gadget. The error is solely on them.

I've always appreciated your gadget tests. I showed or talked about so many of them to my mamaw who had mobility issues due to childhood polio. She passed this month and I just wanted to let you know that she quite appreciated you always saying that these may help people with disabilities.
Regarding the cake mix having a container in which to measure out your ingredients - that would be really useful to someone who is maybe in the middle of a move and doesn't know where their baking stuff is, or maybe a college student who doesn't have any measuring stuff, so I think that it was a good move on the part of the company to put that in there. If you're wanting to make a boxed cake mix in the microwave, you are most likely someone who doesn't bake often, so you might not have measuring cups and such.
We’ve considered those game board looking plates for some of my kiddos with severe food aversions. Can’t have the food you love until you try all the foods on the plate!
The Dinner Winner plates are absolutely incredible!!! My daughter has ARFID and I bought one to encourage her to try and eat. She actually has started trying new foods and eating more at dinner. They are an absolute godsend!!!!
Good raspberries are super sweet, just like strawberries. If they are good they don't need sugar. And of course the sweetest are the ones you grow in your own garden, in summer I always go there at the end of the day and eat them straight from the plant, delicious! I also find that the flavor suffers a lot in the fridge, so I don't put them there if I don't have to.
I don't like avocado. But I think it's interesting watching American/ European videos, they always make avocados savory. In my family, people always served them as a dessert/ snack. Put It in the blender and blend It with a bit of like juice, sugar, and milk untill you have a thick cream. Serve It cold. To Prevent from Browning, Just keep the Pit in It.
I think you have to SUCH up the sauce through the needles... Otherwise you won't be able to get the plunger down without it going everywhere... Also, cheese slicers! They are the greatest thing ever! In Scandinavia we ALWAYS use them to cut cheese slices. You should do an IKEA kitchen stuff video!! And the spout from Flying Tiger was so funny! I LOVE that store!
As a disabled person I struggle to measure out ingredients so I haven't been able to bake in years. I've finally accepted it might be worth trying a cake mix, and having a gadget that means I don't need to measure each thing out separately would make a huge difference to my ability to bake.
I have a needle tenderizer without the injector. I spread garlic powder and other seasonings on , then worchestershire sauce then use the tenderizer. Does a great job of getting the good stuff into the meat.

Just bought a garlic mincer that gives you various options for chopped, crushed garlic by rolling the little sled. I also got the garlic tube for peeling.-no touching hands or surfaces. I considered your fave-the rocker -but it requires touching. I’m beginning to think I need an intervention on wanting gadgets. Might start my own support group.
We brought my 4 year old sister one of those treasure map trays and it works so well. We thought that she was not going to try different foods because when she was a baby she had something called sandifers syndrome, and every time she would eat she would feel sick, and this tray has got her to try new foods. It is so good for picky eaters and makes it fun for them to try new things. Thank You for reviewing all of these gadgets I love watching your videos even if sometimes they go wrong😁

For the avocado an even better tip than citrus to keep it from turning brown . Smear mayonnaise on the exposed avocado then put the leftover skin over that. Wrap tight with cling film. Lasts days longer!

For the avocado an even better tip than citrus to keep it from turning brown . Smear mayonnaise on the exposed avocado then put the leftover skin over that. Wrap tight with cling film. Lasts days longer!
