Hopefully it is just a hiatus, but if he said it would be a break people would continue to ask when his return will be. Another idea would be that he time-skips to other players, or writes stories similar to the princess stand alone.
Fun side note about Albedo not originally having her own room - Since she is a succubus it was implied that she didn't need her own room because she would be sleeping in other people's rooms.
as in the games. NPCs just on standby. and albedo was an eye candy/throne defense beside the throne.
I’m amazed Albedo actually has levels in sewing and such, makes sense given she makes plushies of Ainz.
She doesn't have levels in them. There are no classes in Yggdrasil related to them so she can be able to do them without needing those levels

Demiurge also doesn't have any mention of levels in crafting classes yet he can still make knickknacks or furniture
The only confirmed part of albedo that allows her to make those things is in her background settings
@@XFizzlepop-Berrytwist That would be a detriment to her build. Just 1 level in a crafting class makes her 50% chances against another level 100 turn into 20-30% chances. Albedo is a level 100 pure warrior, not a level 99 warrior with a crafting class.
@@XFizzlepop-Berrytwist I had forgotten about this but even the manservants who don't have cook classes can cook, but the food cannot give buffs. The regular maids are level 1 but they also do not have cook classes and any food they make ends terribly. The difference here should be the flavor text that allows them to perform these actions
A tip to improve the concept, when a card has more text that will appear after some time it should have some kind of right arrow symbol or something similar at the end of the card to indicate it has more information. Sometimes i have to rewind while reading another card when suddenly one before that changes and i have to go back to catch up.
Yeah I'm continuously pausing the video because of this. I still like the idea of extra info, but something like your suggestion would be nice.

I breaks my heart that the series with so muchhhh potential is going to go to waste because the mangaka is burnt out.. there are probably only two seasons left in the series.. i hope he takes a hiatus for five years then revisit this series… just so he can do justice to this amazing piece of art.
Maruyama not a mangaka, he write novel. He actually want to end the novel at vol 15 ending the seriesr prematurely because there people that upload overlord openly and illegally, it wasn't even them that translate it. The person that translate the novel from volume 1 got permission from the author on condition that they didn't do it openly
True, after eerything I"ve read they've cut out so many elements from the Manga cut out. Yet the anime is personally No.1 on my list for so many years even despite the numerous anime's that come year after year. They've taken great care in showing a small fraction of this masterpiece. I don't think they could fit the entire Lore in the anime, hence cutting out various parts. Even so it's been my No.1 for 5 years running now.
Parpatra got like 3 minutes of screen time before he was killed, but has a book of lore apparently
Apparently those mercs sebas one-shotted all had a huge backstory before they were one-shotted in the novels
no wonder why it sometimes seems like mare struggles to lift the staff at times
But if I'm not wrong Mare has the second highest stats of the floor guardians after Shaltear.

In bonus volume cure elim didn't die when Momonga used The Goal of All Life is Death. For all we know dragon lords might be immune to it.
Knowing that TGOALID basically ignores any kind of insta-death resist effects, they're either legitimately immune due to age or just have insane hp pools.
Apparently there are some auto-ressurection skills at counter TGoALiD.
I believe the only things that counter it are wild magic and world items, but also any resurrection items

@@itsgonnabeokay9341 TGoALID is the buff that enhances all insta death spells to a terrifying degree of potency. The zombies didn't block it, they were absorbed and were made into those goat baby things due to the spell Satoru casted alongside TGOALID.

im not sure, but I *think* they refer to the latin translation of different colors Albedo - Whiteness, Rubedo - Redness, Nigredo- Blackness. Furthermore, Albedo refers to the porportions of light reflectivity in physics (aka the property that white reflects more light),
Rubedo signals the alchemical success as the Philosopher stone and gold were associated with "Rubedo' (This may connote to how Rubedo is created through a world item that consists of different Ores by accident),
whereas Nigredo signifies death/decomposition aswell as the first step in the creation of Philosopher stone
thus Rubedo being the youngest sister (Final Product of Alchemy) Albedo (Possibly in-between state of alchemy), Nigredo ( First step of alchemy)
If he uses all his arsenal Ainz would win given he has 12 world items far greater in number than the 6 Great Gods, 8 Greed Kings, Sorcerer Minotaur,unknown player and 13 Heroes' leader which have 1 to 4 world items only.
Heavenly dragon is more powerfull than ainz since true dragon lords can use wild magic , the only thing which is making this not a complete victory for HDL is because ainz has a world class item (the red orb on his waist) which is very effective agaisnt dragons but so far we dont know what it does but once used will take 5 levels from its user and also the monster located on the 9th level of nazarick is his trump card which includes rubedo (the monsters on the floor has killed 1500 level 100 players, this happened during the invasion of nazarick when several guilds combined to loot nazarick on yggrasil )
@@salmanahmed7596 we dont know anything about Heavenly dragons power except that its big. Also wild magic is negated by world items so for example Cure Elims strongest spell thats a bit like TGOALID didnt do anything to Ainz. Cure Elim couldnt do anything to Ainz so I doubt other dragon lords can win.
imagine all the other possibilies maruyama can do in this title. the fact that he laid this world so great that if ainz decided to secretly map out the entire continent/world. the story can be as juicy as it is now.
now that i think about it. wont that be the best way to find other guild members? spread out. low key, gather intel, go home atleast once a week via greater teleportation.
In a fan overlord manga called Overlord - reflect. Told the story after Ainz has succesfully rule the world and Touch Me has enter the new world and was very disappointed in Ainz pointless killing and his world, so they fight.
If Perorochino was transfer into new world he would be angry at Ainz/Momonga and ask him "Why are you not banging my creation?"
even if maruyama introduced the whole of the continent using his current style, i still wont be satisfied. like this might be caused by a lot of great fiction authors and a lot of materials that can be mimicked but yeah, atleast top 100 fiction writers of all time for me. if he did his best and went past volume 30 damn that would make him atleast top 20.

Tabula-San was also a huge fan of horror movies which shows in Nigredo's design.
He also may be a fan of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms because I am almost sure a large part of Albedo's backstory is copied of a infamous and ruthless empress. I just can't remember her name.
About the flying dragon that may or may not be mistaken as a flying continent, I have to wonder if people live up there.
Normally it would be impossible but in the New World there may be races or magics that allows to survive with little to no oxigen.
Heck! Overlord is heavily inspired by D&D so there may be Spelljamerd up there.

Everyone is talking about how Dragon Lords will team up against Nazarick and win, but
they forget that
Ainz Ooal Gown that name does not know defeat, so bring whoever you want Nazarik is not going to be defeated ever
There thats the end of the anime itself, nazarik conquers entire world just as ainzs plan of world domination
Not to mention that, unlike, Nazarick, not all the Dragon Lords have united interests, according to Tsa (Platinum Dragon Lord).
Plus, ever since the Shalltear brainwashing incident, Ainz forbids any Floor Guardians to operate outside the Great Tomb without an escort of several level 70+ monsters. Additionally, Ainz instructed each the Guardians to carry a World Item at all times, as well as to retreat immediately when facing an unusually tough opponent.
In short, it’ll take a massive operation in which Nazarick’s forces are spread thin for them to be vulnerable to attack, which is exactly what happened when Azuth of Red Drop and PDL did during the attack on the Re-Estize capital. Even then, Nazarick was prepared for this and fed false intel on their capabilities to their adversaries while simultaneously gaining vital intel on them.
well not to mention all of them already tried this previously and failed wit the 8 greed kings when there were a lot more dragon lord now they are not that many and do they think they can win against nazarik which in my opinion is several time more stronger than the 8 greed kings
The Dragonlords could win if they united. But that is the problem, yeah? If they were gonna unite they would have already. So it seems like the various Dragonlords have no intention of helping each other. So as long as Ainz plays his cards right he can easily form alliances or dominate them as required. PDL is fairly strong but he is not a measure of the power level and disposition of the Dragonlords. So just assume PDL is an exception, not a rule.

@@door-to-doorhentaisalesman2978 Not really just bring Victim when dragon lords group up and they all die. They can also take Guren, Sebas and Aureole Omega with pleiades to buff everyone. Together with the guardians and Ainz they would stomp the dragon lords even without Rubedo.
Nazarick is heavily favored in that instance, World Items grant basically total immunity to Wild Magic, so they lose a lot of their power.

Clarification on Heavenly Dragon Lord and dragons in general:
He is not the only dragon who didn't fight the Eight Greed Kings. In fact, no dragon to our knowledge has survived fighting the Eight Greed Kings. Every dragon that fought was said to be exterminated and dragons such as Platinum Dragon Lord or Deep Darkness Dragon Lord only survived because they didn't participate. False Dragon Lords and likely every normal dragon currently alive only came about after the time of the Eight Greed Kings since that was when the magic system was replaced and dragons were no longer born with Wild Magic (and any dragon that was born before that time would've likely grown well strong enough to be classified as a True Dragon Lord, such as Platinum Dragon Lord).
Also, IIRC, it is implied that Heavenly Dragon Lord isn't simply flying aimlessly. However, the community consensus is that he just likes to vibe.
Tbh i dont think the heavenly dragon lord or deep darkness dragon lord could win against nazarick.
The whole show is build so that nazarick is a complete mysterie, even the guardians don't know all secrets.
I think no matter what happens Ainz could just pull something out that would turn everything in nazaricks favor.

He is pretty strong but Maru said that Shalltear and Gargantua for example hard counter his magic. Well its mentioned in the video. I think his magic is really strong against living beings thats why.
It isn’t just any world item it’s one of the twenty and he beat a lvl 100 player who possessed it. That fact alone should indicate that he is a formidable opponent. Plus players have an advantage over most strong New World denizens. In that they have a lot of pvp experience as most of the dragon lords have never even fought people on their level. Despite this DDDL still won and that was hundreds of years ago. So he will be even stronger now as dragons grow stronger with age.

Fun thing, Ainz red orb inside his body is world item and it's power to KILL ANY dragon.
Where is your source? I read up to vol16 and it was only mentioned it was a world item and gives advantage over dragons. But, I don't recall the novel stating exactly its exact nature of that 'advantage.'

@@andrewnson Manga...is that even canon? The order was always Light Novel > Anime > Manga in chronology of their creation. So if the manga says it before the Novel, then it is not cannon but a dumb mistake by the mangaka.

Usually main source of the story will either be a manga or a novel if you want to get ahead. In Overlord case, its weird cause there is the web novel first, light novel, anime then manga. But Maruyama changed the story for the light novel, it is pretty much the main cannon now. Moreso it's what the anime and manga follows.

The season 4 actually skip 2 volume of the novel, it will be make into a movie but if you want to read after season 4 you can start at volume 15 and please buy the book to support the author.

Ainz states a few times that if an enemy has some preparation against time stop or sudden death I guess passive skills, items or buffs they'll be immune to such effects
Isekai Quartet already established the limitations of Ainz's time stop. Aqua (a goddess), Tanya (a disillusioned person), and Subaru (who is cursed by time-related ability) are immune to it.
I don't think it's possible to bypass something that is "absolute"... Unless the name is just a spectacle.

DDDL is sleeping in his cave. His cave is really close to where Nazarick is actually. Aura actually discovered that cave accidentally but didn't explore inside of the cave so they don't know DDDL is living there.
Why would Ainz attack Draconic Kingdom? They on a good terms with Sorcerer Kingdom.
The last time I heard about that kingdom (vol.15) they buy magic items from Sorcerer Kingdom.

Oh, it was Satoru (Ainz from spin-off story The Vampire Princess of the Lost Country.) who had a fight with BDL.
@@Planetdestroyer.138 There is a bonus volume or more or less a side story in which Ainz was transported in the new world without Nazarick. It is more or less a what if story, which plays 200 years from the main timeline ago. In this story Ainz meets Evil eye and they actually become friends and we learn a lot about her. Long story short, the grand finale is a fight between Ainz with his Staff of Ainz Oal Gown against Cure Elim Los Malvar… Like I mentioned before, the fight was supposed to be 200 years before the main timeline and this Dragon lord was already CRAZY powerful… so we can only imagine how strong he might have gotten in this time. It was also briefly mentioned by Evil eye that Ainz had a fight against Brightness Dragon lord (this fight was not shown) which ended in a draw. The thing about all of this is that it is not canon and it was also stated at the end of the bonus volume that it is a secret if Deep darkness dragon lord exist in the main timeline…
You forgot that rubedo is in prison level
Another fact about how Albedo is a waifu material is when she fight against platinum dragon lord. When she still wear the armour she still have the world item the black rod (gigunginnap) where do you think she hides it????? That smells fishy..
Remember the inventory portal? Albedo can use it too.

Shalltear can probably outlast them with her regeneration abilities and the HP she gets back from her lance. I think she also has an item that allows her to resurrect with full hp once during battle. Not sure if it’s multi-use or one time use then it breaks so she might not have it now after her battle in S1. Either way they would need to out DPS her healing.
In 1vs1 Shalltear is the strongest, in Nazarick the only one that have a chance to win is Ainz even that only if he have time to prepare

Plus , the only time Tabula Smaragdina were mentioned , it's only Momonga's deep thought of their fond memories
