If only the anime just did a bit more to show the real world of Ainz. A lot of people just automatically assumed, he is from modern day Japan while in fact, he's closer to the setting of post apocalyptic Cyberpunk world where the air itself is poison.
Really I kind assumed that from the very first episode or two when he saw the stars.

@@ShourjoTS It would still be the most toxic game in the world, no matter the date. It was dominated by a single clan that could not be beaten. No wonder it got shut down. The whole show lost interest for me when it seems like everything is just a stroll in the park for the MC and his entourage. It reminds me of finding a god-mode code or cheat for a game when you are a kid, for a while it seems cool, but then it just becomes boring and repetitive.
Brain in his last fight had pushed himself past lvl 40. If he were fighting one of the Pleiades he could have actually dealt some damage, but he was up against a floor guardian.
Not really. Entoma was a LV.45-47 if i Remember right and She wouldn't be damaged by this level of Attack. He can certainly defeat a Death Knight on his own, That's for sure. Maybe with Royal Equipment, he should be able to damage the Pleiades
@@rupom5881 I mean.... do remember that although it's not exactly lethal, in his previous, WEAKER attack, he damaged shalltear's nail, which wasn't a fake nail... he can still technically dink small bits of hp off floor guardians, the damage is just so incredibly miniscule in comparison to their hp pools it's like saying a mosquito bit you. You took damage, but you could take another 20-30 without much more than extreme annoyance and discomfort. And in Shalltear's case, she'd regen before it even got that bad, probably.
Cocytus and Ainz himself are some of the few that have low-damage-negation abilities in Nazarick, I don't think many of the Pleiades would have it.
@@kirinashia567 The Nail doesn't count because anyone below LV.60 can't damage a LV.100 no matter what they do.

Vampire nails were natural weapons in the game, and though the new world doesn't function fully the same, it's not like it became a regular human fingernail either, as we saw her parrying his sword with it earlier. And, speaking of the new world not functioning the same, again, there's nothing stopping a low level from dealing damage to a high level without a skill doing so. Even level restrictions don't exist anymore (two low level people have the normally level 60+ ninja skill)
Quite so. Ainz also brings up Razor’s Edge as another example:
The enchantment on it is normally relatively weak (Ainz compares it to a dinky dagger) and incapable of harming Ainz due to his passive resistance to low damage and weak enchantments…
He then adds that, for some reason, Razor’s Edge IS capable of bypassing all that. And it would be capable of (theoretically) killing him. He also opines if it could destroy World Items, which are supposed to be impossible to destroy.
While some things are consistent (their low damage nullification abilities still work) not all of them are the same as in YGGDRASIL. Hence why Ainz is so paranoid
It actually makes a lot of sense that Yggrasil had an algorithm that immediately banned players if they acted like perverts...can't have them turning the game into a depraved sex simulator (you *know* they would have).

I think Cocytus' actions with Brain were a little more interesting than just that. He outright defied/went against Ainz orders, but was actually using the fact Ainz has been trying to teach and train guardians since season 2 (1 for some, like Nabe) to shift their thinking and be more independent of their own will. Cocytus justified his actions to himself that his creator would have at least acknowledge those actions if not outright do the same thing. Respect to Brain, it was a big moment, but also Cocytus, also demonstrating some personal growth as well. Cocytus was always honorable, but he would never have thought to deviate from Ainz's orders in the slightest in the past.
He froze brain’s body and he probably did that to preserve his body so there would be no complications for ainz to res him if he decides too

Because of brain's action the people to the right of brain inside the house actually got to live a bit longer because cocytus was using an AOE damage spell to which he turned off during the battle with brain (killing people who cowarded away inside there homes instantly)

Wait a second. If Touch Me didn't write a backstory for Sebas, and that is why Sebas became a lot like Touch. Does that mean that Pandora's Actor is also a lot like Ainz because a lack of backstory?

Yes, in LN it was explained that NPCs will inherit their creator's personality to fill in blanks of the lore. Sebas got a completely empty lore, therefore his whole character is pretty much based on Touch-Me except for the loyalty instinct part.
In the light novels, and it is shown in the anime, Ainz sometimes has flashbacks of his friends. Like when Shalltear was resurrected, or when Demiurge and Sebas were arguing. Ainz is heavily reminded of his friends personalities.
The NPCs act how their character backstories are written, but sometimes their creators personality shines through in certain times.

I remember an early rumor back before the anime released ther were a bunch of fanmade side stories passing as canon, I remember one that really stuck with me it was about Demi and Cocytus talking about Ainz heir and asking themselves if they should also have kids to serve Ainz and Cocytus mentioning that Entoma has inveted him to her room but he is too afraid to go beacause he thinks she will try to eat him after the deed is done.

After Volume 8 they also come with data about the Supreme Beings of Nazarick, like why Warrior Takemikazuchi made swords.
Bellriver's is in Vol 13 I think.

There are 2 side stories that cover the formation of ainz ooal gown and the conquering of nazarick
Episode 12 was my personal favorite of this season, the respect Cocytus gave to Brain to honor his bravery was touching. I hope Brain gets resurrected to be a soldier of Cocytus or his right hand maybe.

Episodes ego Ains say to all defenders... - U must all the time think how to make more profit or make Nazaric stronger. The fact that shalltear makes undead run laps so they don't grow fat is hilarious.
Also I think she only does this because she does not realize this as she wants to grow some more in certain key areas.
Actually kyuku Zuzu’s armor steals intelligence to gain defense. The more it stole, the harder it got, that’s why zuzu was impressive. Not only did it get as hard as adamantite, but zuzu was able to speak afterwards (even though it was stunted and slow speech) which implies that before he wore the armor for the first time, his intelligence was high enough to max out the armor, plus have more left over. It also shows the armor as a great burden to wear. The owner becomes almost unkillable (for the new world standards) in exchange for their intelligence and, effectively, the very essence of who they were
When they revived him, the managed to remove that debuff on the armour. He can talk normally now.

For those who'se confused about lord touch me not writing in sebas backstory character
There Was told in other spinoff of overlord manga
Where all players started making their (son/daughter) and momonga was curious about lord touch me's ideas about what backstory he created but lord touch me block him for looking at the screen so momonga gotten more curious and they started fooling around and lord touch me accidentally press the "finish" button and sebas was created , he was angry that he didn't even put a word in the backstory of sebas , but calmly accepted his fate that "someday he would be like me" said lord touch me to sebas while patting his head

I would LOVE to see a series about the humble beginning of Nine's Own Goal, their exploits in Yggdrasil that made every player who they were known for, the massive invasion of human players that failed and even why Yggdrasil would be shut down years later (there's so much potential here, like the death of Bellriver or the transportation of players to the new world could be linked).
Overlord's theories
1- Deep darkness Dragon is the Shadow Dragon: The existence of the Shadow Dragon has been proven in the web novel by the speech of an official from E-rantel And The author Maruyama classified Shalltear as the Dragon Lord's "nemesis," The shadow element is weak against the undead but strong against the holly element ( Platinum Dragon, Deep Darkness Dragon and Elder Coffin Dragon) like ( sebas cocytus albedo) Shalltear is the natural enemy of the Deep Darkness Dragon.
2- Rubedo is half golem:
Ainz used the word activation to describe Rubedo The same word used to describe Gargantua
But Albedo was referring to her sister especially in the Introduction to the fourteenth volume as a sane person .Nigredo described her sister, Rubedo, as Spinel (Spinel is a red stone) The meaning of the name Rubedo is redness And it was made from a world item Caloric Stone
3- The beings on the eighth floor are bosses: Only one of them can defeat Rubedo[ The only people who can beat her are the ones from the 8th Floor, and they’d have to use World-Class Items(Because rabedo itself is a world items). No matter how strong she is, she probably wouldn’t be able to fight one of them to a draw, but…] Rubedo stronger than World Champion It's not impossible when you think about it There was a player who transformed himself with a world item into a world enemy.Example Caloric stone Can fulfill requests from developers
4- she who sleeps in the bottom-most levels of the city which floats upon the sea. Red dragon. She is the sister of the platinum dragon (D&D Tiamat)

Did you see in the theory video where Ainz might be a test subject for the devs of Yggdrasil? Maybe that could be true. BellRiver must've figured that out bur never lived to tell the tale about it.

Also, about Ulbert (Demiurge's creator), it said "he confronted a certain someone in the real world during the closing moments of Yggdrasil. Both of them could be considered evil...".
What if Ulbert is the one who got that information?
The purpose of Bellriver's story could simply be to "tell readers about how corrupt/unjust the world was", however Ulbert's story (as of now) has no purpose. That would change completely depending on why he was confronting someone

There was a theory that it was touch me who murdered bellriver.
Maybe he discovered that Yygdrasil was based in a real parallel dimension or "isekai world" and was killed because this. And after the secret got aired, they shutdown the game...

I like the one about Shizue. The scarf is named Shizues Scarf. But the wearers name is CZ. But everyone calls her Shizue.
It's like a happy little accident with that. So when people call her Shizue they're referring to the scarf.
But it's better to call her CZ bc it's more polite bc her real name and the name of the item she's wearing sound so similar
CZ : C pronounced Shi , Z pronounced Zu. So Litteraly her name is Shizu
unless you have a mega corporation backing you you can't pick fights with a mega corporation

Cocytus wanted to show that his death didn't go in vein and he was able to protect that family and his name will be passed down in the future generations of that family as the hero who saved their lives.

The mention of the armor of the lizardmen, their infinite supply of wine and Shizu's Scarf made me curious about more magic items, both from Yggdrasil and from the New World.
Power levels of all npcs including area guardians?
Well, Bell river managed to passed this certain information to a certain someone, which mostly the others believes is Ulbert.
Just imagine a different story going on outside of Yggdrassil. I also heard that the New World may be connected to the information and Ainz is just a test subject. Imagine every member of Nazarick is playing a role in the real world as Ainz continues to play in the virtual world.
Also you didn't mention this but Bellriver before dying gave all of that information to someone else as a way to leak the truth before his death

@@imaweeb1697 after the Workers lied to Ainz that one of his friends sent them to the Great Tomb of Nazarik she saw their existence as a threat to Ainz, or rather Momonga who she loves.
She already hated them for abandoning the NPCs.
So she formed a team with very powerful NPCs and with Pandora's Actor as her second. She told Ainz it was to search and rescue if necessary the other Supreme Beings but in reality she wants to kill them before they meet Ainz.

IIRC the armor from made from frost dragon bones drains the user's intellect, so kyuku zuzu can only speak simple sentences, and his lost intellect cannot be recovered

No r18 were not possible at all in the video game Yggdrasil, so Ainz decided to touch Albedo this way to know if they were still in the game. He was able to perform this action for 2 reasons 1 the npc were now fully alive and to because they were transported in the New World so something completely different from the video game
