The Federal government already looks like a non democracy. It's almost entirely funded by workers, and governed by big money. It's taxation without representation, and this arrangement never works! Debts are maxed out, capital is on tax strike, and left wing politics have been circumscribed and removed from the proceedings. The electoral analysis is interesting, but the economic relationships of debt, taxes, and business organization (at worker cost, without worker involvement!) are what anti democratic politicians are really after. Anti democratic politics has made its peace with electoralism. It's fraudulent until it reflects the political economy of the moment. It's anti worker authoritarianism. We know the historical lineage, let's make sure it doesn't go so far this time.
