What a treat! The upside of the Trump era is that I have gotten tuned into so many great people, Heather being one of them. I feel like certain people at MSNBC are now practically family. I thoroughly enjoyed this presentation, and want to comment on the point regarding a Confederate Flag being carried into the Capital during the attack. The point I want to make is, that when the United Empire Loyalists attacked the White House In 1812, not only did they give The First Lady time to remove personal belongings, and they did not enter the property with a British Flag.

Thank you so much! It was SO frustrating to hear the dismissal of the Biden’s contributions in his 3+ years. And I am SO GLAD he negotiated the shift to Kamala.
And Biden has accomplished so much in those 3+ years. Unfortunately, he has done much of it with very little recognition. His economic projects alone are extraordinary!
What she said at the end really touched me. And it's sparked the awareness that in many countries around the world, she would be at least jailed if not killed for what she does. Think about that. She's really able to do this because she lives in a free society, with a rule of law that still works most of the time
Did we ever have a democracy? In my lifetime (I'm 71) it has seemed a hell of a lot more like a nation run by corporations, the military, sickeningly rich people and racists. And that started long before my time.

Maybe. The timing does seem ideal. I suspect we won't know until Biden is retired and writes his book. Maybe he'll reveal what he was thinking.
I've thought about it. In the 2020 election, he said that he'd be a one-term president. And the timing does seem to have been just perfect.

I saw Judy Collins in a small auditorium in Alaska 1997 or 99 ? Anyway one of my best concerts ever. She was amazing ! I was recovering from an abusive relationship. I knew i was going to be alright and grow stronger from this unfortunate and miserable time that i endured !
