Aight, I had to edit my comment for an update. I originally complained about the shipping as it took about two weeks (any total recall fans?!) to arrive. That however wasn’t because of Battle Beaver but long in transit from carrier. So while waiting I modified one of my controllers to replicate what the Battle Beaver setup does. In short, my homemade setup was better than factory d pad in that I got zero missed inputs, but nailing down the proper button height and button play (wiggling) isn’t as good as the Battle Beaver set. I prefer theirs over mine. About the difference in gameplay or quality of life...HUGE UPGRADE! I’m always very skeptical as is why I made my own. These are a perfect bridge between a controller and arcade stick, I play both. How you ask? Like a stick, you have to actually input the command without any shortcuts. It’s not hard at all nor hard to adjust to with maybe 5-10min of practice to break old habits. It’s nowhere near the learning curve of a stick, no missed inputs or accidental inputs like a controller from the pad being one whole piece. d3 with Bryan Fury (I’m a Tekken player) doesn’t turn into an unwanted snake edge nor do qcf 3,4. Dark upper/ewgf are more consistent as are qcf/b moves now. Absolutely love these and will definitely do the same to PS5 controller. This video is also perfect on the installation.
