Whet thumbstick tension should I go with if I go from scuf and can only afford one
@@hannesmohlin9365 . well making the jump from 80 (average standard TST)to 160 may have your thumb get a work out and even burn out a few days before you build the muscle memory and strength . but its where we all end up at so man up and go extreme 160 . just be aware your thumb will get worked out the first few days and if you not regularly playing it easily atrophies, got an astro controller (long story) and its thumpsticks last 2 weeks before the left thumbstick went out . got some Battle beaver custom thumbsticks mods HT and ET and im still using that POS astro to day because Battle beaver saved the Day . only problem now is the seat for the left thumb stick in the ps4 position is faulty so i have to have my thumbstick in the xbox lay out. so never buy and astro unless you want to spend and extra 40 on Battle beaver thumb-sticks , if you have an astro and its a POS get the Battle beaver thumbsticks it may save your 200 $ paper weight
My experience with battle beaver has been god awful. When I first got my controller, the thumbsticks would not sit perfectly still when I wasn't touching them so I had to bump up my deadzones to make it playable. After about a week or two I decided I was going to send it back because I wanted a perfect controller if I was going to be using it long-term. I emailed their support asking about it, and after them taking awhile to reply back, I finally sent back the controller. Once they got it, they prompty tried to change me for repairs because they did not RECEIVE the controller within the warranty period, even though I had contacted them well in advance and they said nothing about a charge. After way too much back and forth over emails and Battle Beaver completely refusing to be reasonable, I ended up having to threaten to file an official complaint with them if they would not fix the controller or give me a refund. Shortly after they finally agreed to just fix their defective on arrival controller. Now I have the controller back and it is randomly inputting X while using it. This basically renders it now completely unplayable and there is no way I am going through their customer support again to get them to fix it.
Even though I can’t even afford any of these controllers, I always watch and like every video. I just can’t deny his quality content. 🤷🏽♂️

Just as a correction so you don’t make this mistake again....your ring finger, when it comes to gripping, is actually your strongest finger. It cannot press down or in any direction with much pressure but in a curled grip it’s king. Many martial arts that use weapons will grip with only the ring finger and pinky to be able to have the pointer and middle finger free to poke and control anything that comes close (eyes, clothing, enemy weapon, etc.). So yeah, ring finger not the weakest when it comes to grip strength. Love the vids mang. Keep ‘em comin!!
Hey Airbear love the content but couldn't help but notice that on an older video you said you preferred the normal rear buttons because they registered better. With that said, after testing the soft buttons did you have a change of heart? I currently have a battle beaver in queue so just trying to get the best set up the first time.
I think he prefers them to reduce noise on his stream ..

That red/black/white & yellow/black BB controllers are so beautiful. Do you find it with extreme TS tension you still need to use kontrol freeks? Also any update with the strike pack? Also was wondering if you have heard about the DIY paddles from extreme rate and if you'll be doing a review on them in the future. Keep up the great work!

You’re gonna really regret that I’ve got it an I got stick drift twice with both of my battle to the point I couldn’t even play on them anymore BATTLE BEAVER IS TRASH BRA I WOULD GET A REFUNE IF I WAS YOU AN GO SPEND IT AT SCUF FOR A CUSTOM CONTROLLER I KNOW THEY AINT RELIABLE ALL THE TIME BUT TRUST ME THEY ARE MORE RELIABLE THEN BATTLE BEAVER IVE BOUGHT TWO CONTROLLER FROM THEM OVER 200$ and they both got very bad stick drift to the point I couldn’t enjoy or play the game with the controller

I'd do it quick cause your going to be waiting for a long time. I put my order in well over a month ago and still haven't even started my build. Which I understand why cause there a small up and coming company. Just giving you heads up you gotta be extremely patient.
Do you think the interchangeable thumb sticks are worth it vice going for a standard PS4 one and then adding Kontrol freaks? It just seems like battle beaver just offers the concave interchangeables, so if I wanted to try a domed one I’m kind of stuck to that. Plus doesn’t kontrol freak offer more choices for types of tops? I’m just concerned that a one piece would be better than an add on.

Just got my battle beaver but the tension is definitely a weird feeling, I’m used to flicking and being fast. Different for sure, do they break in a little eventually or do u think I’ll just get used to it if I keep playin

Man I really wish I could have seen this video before I watched your aim controller review video because I bought an aim controller because of what you said in your video about their controllers, and I have to say I am and have been EXTREMLEY disappointed with the controller I received. But due to aims lack of return policy I am now stuck with it. Really bums me out.
Jason Bennett I bought an aim controller after seeing his aim controller video before seeing battle beaver and I haven’t had any issues. I got the remapping back paddles v3 and I also got the smart bumpers. The smart bumper gave out after a month and when I told them about it I shipped it and they fixed it within a week besides that no other issues. What experience have you had that makes you want a battle beaver instead ?
Well I got the remapping paddles as well and mine won't stay mapped. I'll be mid game and all of a sudden my paddles with stop working and I'll have to remap them all over again. And besides the technical stuff I'm really upset with the way the colour I chose online looked and was presented compared to how it looks in person, completley different to the point that I would have never picked this color had I known it was going to look like this. Overall I'm just pretty disappointed with my aim experience thus far. And with the amount of money I spent on it you would think they would want to make sure you were happy with it, I mean I'm sure they will fix my paddles problem but I doubt they will do anything about the aesthetics issues.

What's up man its YT_the420guy95 changed the name I think you should make a video on extremerate dawn ps4 mod kit the button feel sold and alot of people dont have the money to buy battlebevers or other pro controllers I bought the astro c40 and sent it back after I got my hands on that kit I but it together played a couple games and sent the astro back for 40$ you get 4 paddles you do have to do the work yourself but it's not hard you dont have to soder anything if you dont wanna remap the touchpad nice video just throwing another one out you could do

Loco GotTheJuice the aim is really nice I’ve had mine for about 2 months and it’s very comfortable to use. I even have pretty big hands and can still use all 4 paddles easily. Plus the lifetime warranty is hard to beat!

Good to see a small company care unlike scuf, when I chose the express option it still took 4 weeks to get to me and then became faulty after a week!

To be honest, the standard mold of the dualshock 4 is great. I wouldn't mind giving up my Razer Raiju for one of these.
Wish I would have ordered the soft press for the ring finger buttons, just received my controller yesterday and I can already tell that they would have been a lot easier to press for my ring fingers . Took 2 months to get here so I don't even wanna bother sending it back for such a minor change.
Is the battle beaver better than the Scuf impact? I have a Scuf impact, however I play competitive call of duty and I’m considering selling my Scuf and sending in my custom default ps4 controller into battlebeaver if I don’t win the giveaway. Do you think this would be worth it?
Battle Beaver is top notch quality and customer service. I heard about BB years ago from Cool Guy's channel. He is a Destiny weapon reviewer and does crucible guides.
I just purchased a Grifta controller and maybe suggest it for an upcoming review spotlight. I was born with a controller in my hand and transferring to PC, mouse and keyboard play style, really awkward. I use controller left hand and mouse right hand for all PC shooters. The Grifta has solved all my problems.

I had a battle beaver then it broke so I decided to buy the vantage even preorder it but the scuff was horrible I never got used to it after months of trying. So I decided to buy a new battle beaver and I do not regret it at all for shure the best custom controller company .only con is that it always takes about 2 months to get.

I’d buy one but honestly their controllers but their controller creation layout is so confusing. Gives no examples of high button placement or low or medium.
Jordan McDaniel there is a button in the design window to the left of the controller. Click that button to see the back of the controller and it shows exactly where the button will be based on what you select

Controller is of poor quality and very fragile.
I received a broken controller after 5 months waiting, had to send it back and pay for shipping myself.
Received it back in a month and it broke again within two days (1 foot drop of couch on carpet).
Customer service doesn't take responsibility and just want your money.

One thing is to wait for a controller and I'm fine with that , but there is no way it take up to 7 weeks for build and then what ever it takes for the delivery . A "simple " custom controller just the buttons on the back and the grip it would take a couple of hours to make. That's why I didn't even bother to order one of these

Alright man I have a question.
So, im an electrician apprentice therefore I work with my hands. My hands are pretty strong. Reason I’m asking is I have I tough time w the looseness of the stock PS4 sticks. I’m sure there will be a video on the thumbstick tension comparison. But if that’s not the plan, how much of a difference is the highest amount of thumbstick tension compared to, I guess, the normal amount?
I too work with my hands. For 3 years using air tools, impacts, ect ect. Increased tension is a minor jump from 90 grams to 110. Extreme, which I prefer, is 160 grams of tension. Hope it helps

I have a beaver just like the yellow one, The interchangeable thumb sticks keep popping off in game for me which is a absolute nightmare when playing PVP - I’ve stopped using it because of this - anyone else hitting this issue ?

Do you recommend the beaver tail buttons over the standard?
I absolutely love my Battle Beaver. I got it on recommendation of CoolGuy, who is an excellent Destiny 2 creator. My only issue is that the right thumbstick drifts downwards and I can only temporarily fix it by blowing in it or using canned air.
It causes big problems when I'm playing an FPS so I'm thinking my only choice is to send it in and ask if they can repair it, or maybe changing the stick would help too? I'm using XB1 sticks but I wouldn't mind swapping to something domed since those seem to be really popular as well.
It's funny because everyone complained about the domes on PS3 but now they are the way to go apparently?

Just a little heads up for anyone buying a battle beaver. Battle beaver is the only custom controller I’ve bought, I fully customised it with every option and they are amazing when they work but I had the interchangeable thumbsticks and in almost no time the base that held the right analog had cracked (I assume from pressing R3) which gradually resulted in the base not being able to hold the thumbstick in place and the same happened a few months later with the left analogue stick (guessing it was from constantly pressing L3 to sprint on cod). I also noticed stick drift with the right analogue stick probably within 2-3 months of me having the controller I changed both thumbsticks fine with all the correct tools to change them and now I’ve noticed I’ve got stick drift with my left analogue stick. They are great controllers but for my controller which I probably spent about £300-£350 on, having a lifespan of about a year to a year and a half for that price just isn’t worth it. Also I know people might say I should’ve got it fixed with them but I live in the UK and it took long enough getting here and cost me £40 in customs tax to get it shipped here so I’m not trying to rinse my wallet to fix it and be without the controller for an extended period of time.
I'm thinking about getting a Battle Beaver controller. Did you go with the increased thumbstick tension? I play a lot of Apex Legends and I'm used to the tension of a normal PS4 controller. I'm thinking it might be annoying to get used to and messes up your sensitivity settings. What are your thoughts?
