    I don't care about their feelings. I'm tired of being bullied.

    I enjoy your content because it has greatly helped me professionally and personally. My challenge is remaining calm in my assertiveness even when the other party uses a direct and aggressive defence. Any suggestions on those who debate and defend despite you being assertive ag nausem?

    Very helpful. I just had a situation happen to me yesterday where I was starting to get offended by somebody and then I realized she was going through something. This helped me to completely calm down and empathize with her. It was not easy at first though. Thank you for your coaching.

      I'm glad this approach has helped you with this situation. We all go through tough times and our reactions are often a reflection of what we're going through. It's hard to separate it.

      Do you have any videos on composure? Or practicing the four R's?

    I don't have time to deal with these people, I go directly to HR, that stops them on their tracks right away

    They clearly avoid privacy or professional setting and that is ingrained with that skill

    Why should we do the work for them though? If you wanna act immature and toxic to others I will act like whatever you’re saying is actually what you mean and take it as that instead of play psychologist with every passive egressive person out there.

    On top of it all, I have to be empathic and understand this aggressive person?!?!?! Really????

  • @56348u

    But what if they give you the silent treatment, they never address you directly, when you greet everyone as you come in, they never respond. They treat you like you invisible & they can coz they have more influence on the job? So I should ask them, "please also talk to me", lol.

    • @kararonin
      @kararonin  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Try directly talking to them or asking questions. And use their name when you do that so they can't deny that you're addressing them. If it's done in a public way (meetings), they'd be more inclined to speak to you to otherwise it would look obvious they're ignoring you.

      Like they will talk only to give instructions, in a condescending way coz the manager will not be there. I am new on the job. The person even told me I should knock of from work coz my shift was ending. I felt like crying.

      You can turn on closed captions to see what I say. Look underneath the video. Find the "captions" function and turn it on. 🤗

    Lol so you want us to put in the work for them to behave this way!!! simple way is to mirror them I have great success dealing with all types and it does change depending on the person I’m not lic dr so I will not be identifying anything
