@@Suavocado602 There is not a lot of overlap between Tesla and BYD. That might change in the future, but for now not a lot of actual competition between the two. Most BYD sales are way lower priced models.
Its an interesting question. I've been thinking about it for a while now.
The sales of EVs has slowed. Lots of reasons. Among them, range anxiety is still there and some doubts about battery longevity.
Toyota has been betting that hydrogen is the answer to EVs. That's an interesting area I'm watching. It becomes less likely if plugin infrastructure starts to ramp up considerably.
@@cobaintrade As far as I know hydrogen cars have exactly zero advantages compared to BEVs, so I wouldn´t count on that.

The services and utility components such as safe self driving could be one of the factors that elevates Tesla above simple price shoppers.
