- Hi, everyone! Today I’ll be ranking all of the ships in Miraculous Ladybug! (✿◠‿◠) I’ve been writing fan fiction for years, so shipping is kind of second nature to me by this point, but I would love to know who you ship, who you don’t, and who you would love to get together in the show!

I don't ship luka and Adrien as a couple but they do have such a good bromance! And cmon, the way Adrien looks at Luka in Desperada, he definitely has atleast a small crush on him, not romantically but as in Adrien admires Luka a lot. I really wish we got more of them interacting.

Astruc has actually confirmed that they are making a prequel comic about Gabriel’s youth and he has confirmed that Gabriel, Emilie and Nathalie all knew each other as teens/young adults so I can’t wait to get into some juicy love triangle stuff 🔥👀
Also, am I the only one who senses the tension between these two like???And as cute as the love square is Gabenath have such perfect chemistry that it’s crazy, whereas Adrien and Marinette/ Chat and Ladybug are flirty and cute, Gabenath are just so in sync with each other. If they don’t get together at the end I’ll be so disappointed.

The fact that they knew each as teens makes me wonder if in an alternate life what it would have been like if Gabriel and Nathalie got together instead. I feel like they would have been happier as it was Emilie who got involved with the miraculous leading to her coma, so if Gabenath happened I imagined they would have been happy together only I headcanon that Gabriel wouldn’t be as rich but he would be happy with Nathalie 😭.

In the episodes where they are literally shoving Gabenath in our faces (Miracle Queen especially) it is so clear that he might harbor some unexpressed feelings towards Nathalie: he continuously calls her “my Nathalie/Mayura” and repeatedly carries or comforts met whenever her illness is getting worse (not to mention in Ladybug he gave up being Scarlet Moth b/c of how weak Nathalie suddenly got and how, later in that episode, he rushed to save Mayura after he and Ladybug had a stalemate)

I’m so glad you rlly want Adrien and chloe to remind their friendship but as romance I basically think of it as inscest since they’ve known each other for so long and grew up together
yeah I'm not a big fan of Adrien and Chloé like that, but I love them together when they're friends, like in Despair Bear :)

Kagami: Likes Adrien because he's a genuinely sweet guy.
Adrien: Likes her because she's confident and strong (like Ladybug).
Kagami is amazingly written and so is her redemption arc. She's adorably awkward. And Kagami is a strong badass women, there is no reason to dislike her.
That’s fine, however, to me, she does come across as very mean and rude, and to be honest it’s not really fair on her feelings that Adrien is dating her. He’s really on with her because she’s similar to Ladybug and he’s still in love with her

@@hazeclarke well on the mean and rude part, she was probably raised that way, in that case she isn't really well adjusted to society where you don't really tell someone something well out of there that could hurt someone. And when I mean rude, I meant like she was raised and probably talked to in a blunt way at a young age, but for others who are outside her family it is understandable why they would view her as rude and mean

@@hazeclarke to be fair Emilie is sus af to me because her twin and Felix are also sus, also it’s implied she used the peacock miraculous knowing she’ll get sick and thus abandon her husband and son, finally Adrien has confirmed that even when his mother was around, he was never allowed outside so Emilie also enforced the idea that Adrien should stay inside the house. Also we only know about Emilie from Gabriel and Adrien who probably view her through a rose-tinted lens and so their opinions on her are probably not objective. Asides from that she’s barely a character so I ship Gabenath all the way.
Also if I were in a coma with probably no chance of waking up I would want my partner to move on and so if Emilie miraculously wakes up and has a problem with Gabriel moving on then she wouldn’t be a good partner.

I see The Gabriel and Nathalie ship the same with the Adrien and Marinette, which makes me sad because I LOVE both those ships, but I realize that Nathalie is the adult (sadly sort of evil) version of Marinette, while Gabriel is the adult (again, sadly evil) version of Adrien. I don't really get the ship square thing...even if they technically act differently around each other in/out of the uniform, isn't it essentially the same ship but four times? If Ladybug and Mari are considered separate, would Mari be cheating if she dated Luka in her civilian form and Chat Noir as Ladybug? If Adrien was dating both Mari and Ladybug with realizing they're the same person (ala. Rio from Jem and the Holograms), would he be cheating?
Hm I guess if Adrien was dating Mari and Chat Ladybug, I guess it wouldn’t be cheating but it would be otherwise. Although if Adrien and Mari were dating, though, I do doubt they would attempt to date anyone else as their alter ego. I can’t speak for everyone else, but as far as I see it, people like it because Mari and LB and Adrien and CN act a little differently if they’re in or out of costume so they sometimes do seem like different people. But depending on which side it is, you get a very different dynamic. It’s why people like Marichat so much because they can be themselves around each other

@@hazeclarke I just rewatched the whole episode and she still didn’t do a single thing wrong. She came off kinda brash sometimes but that’s because she literally doesn’t know how to talk to people. She redeemed herself in the last few episodes of season 3. But it’s ok if you don’t like Kagami. everyone has different opinions.
I would agree with you in that S3 Kagami is much better than S2 Kagami, but honestly I can't stand her. She does come across as really rude to me in the way she speaks to Marinette in Frozer, and she obviously does know how to be nice, since she is to Adrien, but like you said, it's okay if you like Kagami 😌

I support all ships especially adrinette. Look luka doesn’t have any character development or history like she said. We only see perfection which is kinda boring. In adrien and marinette they show us everything about them. It also is saying opposite attract. They always fight with each other as well. They are made for each other
yeah the way Lukanette is shown is like they are a perfect relationship already with no conflict or oppositions, whereas Adrien and Marinette, both in personality and their miraculouses, are the opposite of each other, and are definitely made for each other 💕
but ngl I do love how protective Luka is over Marinette, so I hope when Adrienette happens, Luka has the inevitable chat with him lmao XD

I don't think I explained this in the video but the way I would want Gabriel and Nathalie to get together would be like at the very end of the show, when he's come to terms with his wife not coming back and he's grieved for her, so that way it wouldn't be unhealthy, and I'm pretty certain Nathalie has feelings for Gabriel, and he definitely cares about her, too :)
