@@hazeclarke I think the difference between Ephemeral and Chat Blanch is that Chat Blanch made a difference for Marinette that we could see because she remembers the outcome of what could happen if she knew Chats identity and he knew hers. If she got to remember the things that happened in Ephemeral, I think they would have made her pull back even further from Chat and Adrien than she already did. It could have made the way for much more drama. In Chat Blanch, she neither knew the reason he got Akumatised nor his identity while in Ephemeral, she at least knew his identity. The good thing about both episodes, in my opinion, is the emphasis on the timing of the reveal. It always happened during the wrong time and the wrong circumstances.
i feel like chat blanc did have significance to other episodes because it stayed with marinette, her nightmares, she still has flashbacks and overall a little 'traumatised'
Season 5 doesn't feel the same as the rest because it's become a soap opera. There's a cliffhanger every other episode and sometimes two or three episodes are crammed into one day.

The "Season 5 is worse than Season 4" part physically hurt me. I get the airing schedule and the out-of-order release dates, but as for the content itself, it's leaps and bounds from season 4's.
If we ignore the airing schedule, I've only had two problems with season 5. First was Marinette "falling in love" with Chat. It was so exaggerated and not even satisfying, and it lasted like four episodes. Second is Chloe becoming beyond redeemable. Other than that though, I do think season 5 is better. I was fed up with Chat being a sidekick for most of season 4, so I'm glad they're back to duo format. I also think Gabriel is a lot scarier and more active in season 5. I like the alliance rings plot and the sentimonster plot. And my favorite part, we finally get to see Marinette and Adrien in an actual relationship!

The issue with the sentimonster theory is that we don't even see the peacock miraculous until the season 2 finale and Gabriel didn't put the ring on until the episode Felix in season 3. Becuase of this, there is next to no evidence of the theory in seasons 1 and 2, a small amount in season 3 and then it quickly piles up in seasons 4 and 5. Although it would've been hard to give clues in the first two seasons, I feel like they could've planted the seeds so at least when you watch it back in later seasons you pick up on it and it feels more thought out
@@hazeclarke Yeah, true however my 2 friends who watch miraculous but don't engage with the fandom had absolutely no idea about the theory, even in season 4, I had to explain it to them. So whilst there is evidence in the earlier seasons, and I do think they planned it from the beginning, it still feels a little out of nowhere
chat blanc would have been more interesting if it had a 2nd part like chat blanc part 1 and chat blanc part 2 it needs more interesting things because watching it felt like we needed more and it didn't feel enough
For the season 4 finale I kinda wished that they had the people of Paris be upset with LB and CN. Here they are watching Shadowmoth/Monarch with literally every miraculous but the main 2. Threating the people yet they're still gonna cheer for the heroes🤔 I mean I get it, but it would have been cool if in S5 Ladybug and Chat were now vigilantes and everyone dislikes them. Except for the other miraculous heroes/students. And in the S5 finale the miraculous team would be back. And Monarch would be defeated.
To be honest, I also feel like s5 is a bit of a downgrade from s4. S5 is feeling way too quick. For example, within the first 11 episodes, Adrien falls in love Marinette, she falls in love with CN ( or tries) almost gets akumatised and then forgets him and goes back to Adrien. I think that the slow pacing from earlier seasons came back to haunt the writers. They want Marinette and Adrien to be together, but in order for that to happen they also must have Marinette/LB like CN as well to complete the love square. Since prior seasons never advanced much in this field, they had to cram it all into half a season.
My thoughts regarding each opinion. (Just my opinion) 1. Disagree, but it made me laugh 🤣 2. I strongly disagree 3. Disagree but it made me laugh a lot 🤣🤣🤣 4. Disagree... I feel like it was always the idea from the beginning. In the first season alone we have: the painting, that "You're not like everyone else" line (or something like that) in "Origins", the feather allergy (which I think must have been an inside joke), "My son.... he's the image of perfection, don't you think?" in "Simon Says". 5. I agree with being a well written (except in "Simple Man" 🤣), flawed and evolving character (and we'll explore more of that this season, but I'll be just shut up...). However, I think the two are equally interesting. 6. I disagree, never shipped them (sorry Haze) 7. Disagree, I don't think it's the best episode but I don't think it's the worst. As for it being "rushed", that's exactly the meaning of "ephemeral", in fact I wrote a comment about it. But yes, I expected more from the 100th episode. 8. Neutral - I don't care much for the outfits (but I love watching Haze's videos roasting the ones she doesn't like 🤣) 9. I disagree, for me it is still one of the best episodes of the first 3 seasons. 10. Disagree, but I honestly don't understand why Alya still believes Lila (did the writers forget that one of her first lies was that she was Ladybug's BFF?) 11. I FULLY DISAGREE, for me, s5 is the best season, since it's more dedicated to the plot and the closing of an arc (I really like when a show truly focuses on the story). And since I already know what will happen in every episode of the season (unfortunately), I can give my final opinion and for me, it is the best.
lmaooo when it comes to the sentis, Aidan is hard to convince XD i like how this season is more dedicated to the plot, but it's so jam packed full that it comes across as rushed
i like all of the season finales. volpina introduced Lila and lead into the collector which is the episode where the show reveals hawkmoths identity to us the audience catalyst and mayura brought back nearly every akumatized villain from the first 2 seasons had ladybug and cat noir team up with rena rouge carapace and queen bee and introduced mayura and the peacock miraculous. heart hunter and miracle queen was a very fun and interesting origin story of how Chloe grew to hate ladybug and how Marinette/ladybug became the new guardian of the miraculous and Risk and strike back made both Felix and Lila relevant to the plot again and was a very interesting origin story of how Gabriel got his hands on all of the miraculous which lead to him becoming monarch in season 5.
i feel like the only reason gabriel is actually strategic this season is bc of nathalie. she's helped him come up with so many great strategies/plans from late s2-all of s4 basically
Unpopular opinion: Season 5 is underrated , season 5 is not a perfect season and it does have alot of plot holes but the writing improved and my problem with season 5 is the writers making chloe heartless and emotionless , shes basically a dead character now

Luka’s a very flat chapter and his only relevance is to be Marinettes love interest he doesn’t have anything interesting about him that makes himself stand out
For the Mexican fanbase of miraculous, season 5 has become the best and most hilarous season of them all. 'Cause they basically turned the show into a Soap Opera. Plus everyone hates Nino.
I have to agree, season 5 is kind of iffy right now, probably because of all the leaks and stuff, which fair. For me, personally, my opinion is that it could be because they’re doing too much with the main plots (the Miraculous and the Love Square) and it just feels too tight. It should have been more spaced out, and in my opinion, I think the Miraculous plot should have been more focused this season and put the romance plot to the side as like a subplot bc the stakes with Monarch and the Kwamis are really high now. Both the plots are instead giving the season tone shifts and shifting the focus that gives the fans like me whiplash. I understand why people would be happy for the progress, but for me, some of it should have happened earlier so the plots would be more fleshed out and the pacing would be a lot better.

Honestly, I don't understand why they didn't focus more on romance last season when the odds were in Ladybug's favour. You would think she would be more stressed out now. And if Adrienette had already been canon in season 4, this could have put an interesting spin on it.

A while back I had an idea for Ephemeral, although I know then there would be no reason for the episode to begin with. If Luka just pretended he already did them second chance so that they didn’t have to do all that but Luka could just say like, ok lb i did it, and then he wouldn’t need to actually do second chance or anything, if that makes sence.
Finally someone that understands me. Like this season is ok. But is sorta meh. There is some plots that I like and some I don’t like. Or it could be just me losing interest in the show. Don’t get me wrong I like season 5 but I feel like they took a step backwards instead of forward with this season. Like season 4 was great plot and development wise. Makes me sad that you two aren’t enjoying this season as much, but it sort of makes sense 1) it doesn’t feel the same. The structure is nice, but the simple fact that the structure is different might make us uneasy. Also, the idea of the alliance rings is galaxy brain, but we got to used to dumb Gabe that this also feels weird. Finally, this season goes much deeper and is more stressful, less relieving and happy compared to others 2) the LEAKS! It makes the season less mysterious and exciting Even further, it hurts content creators who provide news, so it’s harder to make videos that people will watch (even tho we here love them lol) and it therefore might put you two as creators in a worse mental state :/

The airing schedule is probably the reason why I have been so detatxhed from this show and fandom. I have no idea why we can’t have a normal airing schedule like any other show but here we are. I’ve so far only watched episodes 1-10 + Perfection (since I thought it wouldn’t be bad if I skipped over one episode) and this prevents me from having discussions with people who already watched 16 and 18-20, I had to unsubscribe to a bunch of ML TH-camrs (including you) and I had to stop watching the show. I’ve only recently came back after the Deflagration trailer dropped and it’s still hard for me to discuss theories with the fanbase. Also the leaks don’t help either, so I try not to search up Miraculous stuff too much in order to avoid spoilers

About "Ephemeral", I understand that people might dislike/hate it. In my opinion, it's not the worst episode, but it's also nothing special (I just liked the fact that it finally confirmed that Adrien is a sentimonster)... But the one thing I don't get is people complaining about the pacing. Or rather, I understand not liking it because it's rushed but I don't understand people complaining about why it is that way. This is exactly the concept of the word "ephemeral": something that occurs quickly or something that leaves the perception that it is rushed. For example, "the ephemerality of life" is a theme used in poetry, in which the idea explored is that life is short-lived, and therefore every instant should be lived intensely. And basically, this concept is conveyed through Adrien's power when he is akumatized by speeding up time, and through the events of the episode that leave the impression of having passed quickly.
I wouldn't say Chat blanc had no impact at all. Yeah it was ,,What if" scenerio BUT Marinette lived through it and REMEMBERS everything even if Adrien doesn't know about this potential future. Marinette is still having flashbacks to Chat blanc. It's her ultimate fear. She has nightmares and go back to painful memories even during Strike Back episode. Chat blanc was actually groundbreaking for Marinette while Ephemeral got completly wiped out of existance and nobody remembers what happenes so there will be no impact after it. Chat blanc can still influence future events. Like if Sandboy type villain would come again or something like that then there is chance that Chat blanc would return in some form. Chat blanc episode was actually groundbreaking and I will die on that hill.
i still loved it! however, there was a huge lack of follow through. it should have traumatised her, and in imo was at first the reason why she pushed Cat Noir in S4.... except it was only brought up in Strike Back. I'm not even sure what her motivations were for doing that
LMAO I feel like they'll always be people that say "X season is the worst season" 😂 it just can't be helped I guess. Happened in season 3, season 4, and apparently now in season 5. In my opinion though, season 5 is EVERYTHINGGGG!!! The plot is so much thicker, darker, and mature!! I feel like the main characters are growing and changing more with each episode and I'm hyped whenever a new episode comes out. I already know the S5 finale is gonna smash and I'm waiting on it!!
@@hazeclarke I agree that the transition in "Kwami's choice" felt weird and rushed. It did 😅 but from Adrien's perspective, he's felt differently about Marinette since puppeteer 2 so all those moments we see him acting differently or giving her the puppy eyes, it changes things. I think the reason it feels so rushed to some people is because WE didn't know Adrien's feelings had changed. It was a weird way of writing the plot so I think that's why it feels rushed even though it "technically" isn't. *sighs*...I'm glad Thomas is off the writing team after this season 😂

season 5 of miraculous by far has the worst animation everytime i go on twitter or something i would see people praise the animation and stuff like that but the animation looks rushed and feels rushed i mean it makes sense as to why it was rushed and i also feel like the awakening movie was kinda the reason to it because of budget reasons and the animation doesnt feel like miraculous
Just the first half of season 5 is already better than the whole season 4. We are finally moving forward, the characters have a progression in their development, feelings change, evolve. What seemed frozen is no longer so. It's the most exciting season to follow, and the final episodes are also better.

Unpopular opinion: the hamster named is a senti monster Edit: I feel like the reason the show feels different this season is the bible leak. Most people who have read it (including myself, I won’t spoil anything don’t worry) know what is going to happen. So there isn’t as much hype and speculation floating around keeping people interested. I’ve noticed on the miraculous sub reddit, most posts are about the bible instead of theories like last season which (for me anyway) kinda draws away the hype
I think that plays into it but for me, who hasn’t read it and don’t know anything about what happens, the show feels super different to me because this season simply just isn’t as good
So I thought of something u will either love or hate as we know Mari has a diary my thought is that we are in her diary going over what she has lived already and in the last season I recon we will see adrien older reading to mari because she’s no longer guardian and no longer ladybug which means she’s lost her memories and he is reminding her of her time as the guardian

Here is my unpopular opinion, I actually don’t think Marinette did anything wrong in Volpina. The first thing she saw Lila doing was her sexually harassing, Adrian, and Lila was very clearly trying to take advantage of him. Do I deny that it was done partially out of jealousy, heck no. But even then, I think it stopped being about jealousy the moment she heard her lying about her. Also, Marinette is involved in the lies that Lila was spinning so she did have a right to call her out for it. Thirdly, Lila lying about being best friends with Ladybug, and being a Superhero were not only stupid but extremely dangerous! What if hawk moth had seen the interview and thought that he could get to Ladybug by using her? Even if jealousy wasn’t in the equation, Marinette would’ve had the responsibility to shut that down fast, so to not have a civilian put herself in danger. And the point about, “ladybug shouldn’t have been harsh “ is frankly bullshit. And it also is shown that later on that Lila’s issue wasn’t that ladybug was harsh, it was that she got called out at all.
Lol this is such a fun video!! I’m kinda disappointed that I missed the original community post because I think I have a pretty big hot-take, which is that I really dislike the nickname, “Mari” that the fandom came up with for Marinette. I don’t mind it being used in ship names like “Marichat” but I think on its own it just sounds really tacky, like a nickname that her parents might’ve called her when she was 4 or 5 years old, but definitely not one that she’d keep as she got older. I just think the name, Marinette sounds much prettier. I’m really thankful that the nickname is never used in the show tbh. This is absolutely in no way meant as any hate or disrespect towards anyone who likes/uses the nickname or is named Mari themselves. The name itself is really pretty but I just don’t like it as a nickname for Marinette.

@@hazeclarke Damnnn! For me season 2 and 5(so far) are the best. Though, I do agree on the fact that season 5 feels very diffrent. But then again I think thats because of the leaks which is causing that lack of exitement we saw last season, because 3/4 of the fandom already knows whats gonna happen so its not “very exiting”. I really love season 5 so far. Idk why it just makes my heart happy 😂 Season 2 just had really great writing imo and love what they did with Chloes character that season!
@@hazeclarke Season 4 was very messy idk. I really loved the finale episodes, CHEFFS KISS!! Also really enjoyed optigami! But rest of the episodes were either just above mid, mid, or overhyped and therefore mid. Like “Gabriel agreste” Is a great example. I feel like they made it look like we were getting some super spicy backstory, but the only spicy thing in that episode was marc and nathaniels comic and felix getting death threaths. They made us expect completely diffrent things about episodes, and they always turned out to be something else in a somewhat disapointing way.

Okay, I watched from season 1 till season 4 in like under 10-12 days or even less, I think it was from 31st December of 2021 and fully binged till season 3 in 3 or 4 days and then I watched season 4 I think in 4 to maybe 4 days like to process what's going on I watched them/went through them a little slower than what I did for season 1 to season 3. So, yeah and the way this season is currently airing or aired till now along the season 5 show bible and all the other leaks like excitement is just I don't even know what to say, like it's kinda dead or in a coma shall I say, like I thought I'm enjoy this season more in plot wise and also bcuz now I am in the fandom and like but Ahh I think enjoyed the last mid January point till March of 2022 and even in the like beginning beginning of this season I think before the bible leak it was great. @@hazeclarke I think the difference between Ephemeral and Chat Blanch is that Chat Blanch made a difference for Marinette that we could see because she remembers the outcome of what could happen if she knew Chats identity and he knew hers. If she got to remember the things that happened in Ephemeral, I think they would have made her pull back even further from Chat and Adrien than she already did. It could have made the way for much more drama. In Chat Blanch, she neither knew the reason he got Akumatised nor his identity while in Ephemeral, she at least knew his identity.
The good thing about both episodes, in my opinion, is the emphasis on the timing of the reveal. It always happened during the wrong time and the wrong circumstances.
i feel like chat blanc did have significance to other episodes because it stayed with marinette, her nightmares, she still has flashbacks and overall a little 'traumatised'

The "Season 5 is worse than Season 4" part physically hurt me.
I get the airing schedule and the out-of-order release dates, but as for the content itself, it's leaps and bounds from season 4's.
While it has some good episodes, the pacing of it is all completely of. From my perspective as a professional writer, it is extremely unbalanced
If we ignore the airing schedule, I've only had two problems with season 5. First was Marinette "falling in love" with Chat. It was so exaggerated and not even satisfying, and it lasted like four episodes. Second is Chloe becoming beyond redeemable. Other than that though, I do think season 5 is better. I was fed up with Chat being a sidekick for most of season 4, so I'm glad they're back to duo format. I also think Gabriel is a lot scarier and more active in season 5. I like the alliance rings plot and the sentimonster plot. And my favorite part, we finally get to see Marinette and Adrien in an actual relationship!

The issue with the sentimonster theory is that we don't even see the peacock miraculous until the season 2 finale and Gabriel didn't put the ring on until the episode Felix in season 3. Becuase of this, there is next to no evidence of the theory in seasons 1 and 2, a small amount in season 3 and then it quickly piles up in seasons 4 and 5. Although it would've been hard to give clues in the first two seasons, I feel like they could've planted the seeds so at least when you watch it back in later seasons you pick up on it and it feels more thought out

chat blanc would have been more interesting if it had a 2nd part like chat blanc part 1 and chat blanc part 2 it needs more interesting things because watching it felt like we needed more and it didn't feel enough
For the season 4 finale I kinda wished that they had the people of Paris be upset with LB and CN. Here they are watching Shadowmoth/Monarch with literally every miraculous but the main 2. Threating the people yet they're still gonna cheer for the heroes🤔 I mean I get it, but it would have been cool if in S5 Ladybug and Chat were now vigilantes and everyone dislikes them. Except for the other miraculous heroes/students. And in the S5 finale the miraculous team would be back. And Monarch would be defeated.

To be honest, I also feel like s5 is a bit of a downgrade from s4. S5 is feeling way too quick. For example, within the first 11 episodes, Adrien falls in love Marinette, she falls in love with CN ( or tries) almost gets akumatised and then forgets him and goes back to Adrien. I think that the slow pacing from earlier seasons came back to haunt the writers. They want Marinette and Adrien to be together, but in order for that to happen they also must have Marinette/LB like CN as well to complete the love square. Since prior seasons never advanced much in this field, they had to cram it all into half a season.

i like all of the season finales. volpina introduced Lila and lead into the collector which is the episode where the show reveals hawkmoths identity to us the audience catalyst and mayura brought back nearly every akumatized villain from the first 2 seasons had ladybug and cat noir team up with rena rouge carapace and queen bee and introduced mayura and the peacock miraculous. heart hunter and miracle queen was a very fun and interesting origin story of how Chloe grew to hate ladybug and how Marinette/ladybug became the new guardian of the miraculous and Risk and strike back made both Felix and Lila relevant to the plot again and was a very interesting origin story of how Gabriel got his hands on all of the miraculous which lead to him becoming monarch in season 5.
i feel like the only reason gabriel is actually strategic this season is bc of nathalie. she's helped him come up with so many great strategies/plans from late s2-all of s4 basically

Unpopular opinion: Season 5 is underrated , season 5 is not a perfect season and it does have alot of plot holes but the writing improved and my problem with season 5 is the writers making chloe heartless and emotionless , shes basically a dead character now

I have to agree, season 5 is kind of iffy right now, probably because of all the leaks and stuff, which fair.
For me, personally, my opinion is that it could be because they’re doing too much with the main plots (the Miraculous and the Love Square) and it just feels too tight. It should have been more spaced out, and in my opinion, I think the Miraculous plot should have been more focused this season and put the romance plot to the side as like a subplot bc the stakes with Monarch and the Kwamis are really high now. Both the plots are instead giving the season tone shifts and shifting the focus that gives the fans like me whiplash. I understand why people would be happy for the progress, but for me, some of it should have happened earlier so the plots would be more fleshed out and the pacing would be a lot better.

1) it doesn’t feel the same. The structure is nice, but the simple fact that the structure is different might make us uneasy.
Also, the idea of the alliance rings is galaxy brain, but we got to used to dumb Gabe that this also feels weird.
Finally, this season goes much deeper and is more stressful, less relieving and happy compared to others
2) the LEAKS! It makes the season less mysterious and exciting

The airing schedule is probably the reason why I have been so detatxhed from this show and fandom. I have no idea why we can’t have a normal airing schedule like any other show but here we are. I’ve so far only watched episodes 1-10 + Perfection (since I thought it wouldn’t be bad if I skipped over one episode) and this prevents me from having discussions with people who already watched 16 and 18-20, I had to unsubscribe to a bunch of ML TH-camrs (including you) and I had to stop watching the show. I’ve only recently came back after the Deflagration trailer dropped and it’s still hard for me to discuss theories with the fanbase. Also the leaks don’t help either, so I try not to search up Miraculous stuff too much in order to avoid spoilers

About "Ephemeral", I understand that people might dislike/hate it. In my opinion, it's not the worst episode, but it's also nothing special (I just liked the fact that it finally confirmed that Adrien is a sentimonster)...
But the one thing I don't get is people complaining about the pacing. Or rather, I understand not liking it because it's rushed but I don't understand people complaining about why it is that way. This is exactly the concept of the word "ephemeral": something that occurs quickly or something that leaves the perception that it is rushed. For example, "the ephemerality of life" is a theme used in poetry, in which the idea explored is that life is short-lived, and therefore every instant should be lived intensely.
And basically, this concept is conveyed through Adrien's power when he is akumatized by speeding up time, and through the events of the episode that leave the impression of having passed quickly.
i don't think it being called ephemeral is a good enough excuse for the episode basically being a mess

I wouldn't say Chat blanc had no impact at all. Yeah it was ,,What if" scenerio BUT Marinette lived through it and REMEMBERS everything even if Adrien doesn't know about this potential future. Marinette is still having flashbacks to Chat blanc. It's her ultimate fear. She has nightmares and go back to painful memories even during Strike Back episode. Chat blanc was actually groundbreaking for Marinette while Ephemeral got completly wiped out of existance and nobody remembers what happenes so there will be no impact after it. Chat blanc can still influence future events. Like if Sandboy type villain would come again or something like that then there is chance that Chat blanc would return in some form. Chat blanc episode was actually groundbreaking and I will die on that hill.
i still loved it! however, there was a huge lack of follow through. it should have traumatised her, and in imo was at first the reason why she pushed Cat Noir in S4.... except it was only brought up in Strike Back. I'm not even sure what her motivations were for doing that
I feel like this season is so huge that when it ends season 6 will feel too laid back and unserious in comparison. I hope not

It did 😅 but from Adrien's perspective, he's felt differently about Marinette since puppeteer 2 so all those moments we see him acting differently or giving her the puppy eyes, it changes things. I think the reason it feels so rushed to some people is because WE didn't know Adrien's feelings had changed. It was a weird way of writing the plot so I think that's why it feels rushed even though it "technically" isn't. *sighs*...I'm glad Thomas is off the writing team after this season 😂

Just the first half of season 5 is already better than the whole season 4. We are finally moving forward, the characters have a progression in their development, feelings change, evolve. What seemed frozen is no longer so. It's the most exciting season to follow, and the final episodes are also better.

It's supposed to be more serious instead of goofy especially after marinette had a breakdown in the s4 final.. she isn't just gonna go back to being normal and everyone else acting like nothing happened (which i prefer because it's more emotional and plot based)

1: I don't dislike Zoe
People hate Zoe just because she's a "dumb bland character that replaced Chloé & destroyed any chances of a redemption arc".

She's only known Marinette for less time & she's already a better friend than Alya & the others combined. 😕

Edit: I feel like the reason the show feels different this season is the bible leak. Most people who have read it (including myself, I won’t spoil anything don’t worry) know what is going to happen. So there isn’t as much hype and speculation floating around keeping people interested. I’ve noticed on the miraculous sub reddit, most posts are about the bible instead of theories like last season which (for me anyway) kinda draws away the hype
I think that plays into it but for me, who hasn’t read it and don’t know anything about what happens, the show feels super different to me because this season simply just isn’t as good

So I thought of something u will either love or hate as we know Mari has a diary my thought is that we are in her diary going over what she has lived already and in the last season I recon we will see adrien older reading to mari because she’s no longer guardian and no longer ladybug which means she’s lost her memories and he is reminding her of her time as the guardian
I would have to disagree with season 4 being better than season 5 I felt like there were some very unnecessary episodes in season 4

Here is my unpopular opinion, I actually don’t think Marinette did anything wrong in Volpina.
The first thing she saw Lila doing was her sexually harassing, Adrian, and Lila was very clearly trying to take advantage of him. Do I deny that it was done partially out of jealousy, heck no. But even then, I think it stopped being about jealousy the moment she heard her lying about her. Also, Marinette is involved in the lies that Lila was spinning so she did have a right to call her out for it.
Thirdly, Lila lying about being best friends with Ladybug, and being a Superhero were not only stupid but extremely dangerous! What if hawk moth had seen the interview and thought that he could get to Ladybug by using her? Even if jealousy wasn’t in the equation, Marinette would’ve had the responsibility to shut that down fast, so to not have a civilian put herself in danger.
And the point about, “ladybug shouldn’t have been harsh “ is frankly bullshit. And it also is shown that later on that Lila’s issue wasn’t that ladybug was harsh, it was that she got called out at all.

Lol this is such a fun video!! I’m kinda disappointed that I missed the original community post because I think I have a pretty big hot-take, which is that I really dislike the nickname, “Mari” that the fandom came up with for Marinette. I don’t mind it being used in ship names like “Marichat” but I think on its own it just sounds really tacky, like a nickname that her parents might’ve called her when she was 4 or 5 years old, but definitely not one that she’d keep as she got older. I just think the name, Marinette sounds much prettier. I’m really thankful that the nickname is never used in the show tbh. This is absolutely in no way meant as any hate or disrespect towards anyone who likes/uses the nickname or is named Mari themselves. The name itself is really pretty but I just don’t like it as a nickname for Marinette.
Oh I only use it because I can’t be bothered typing out her full name 😂 even when I write my audio fics, I type it once then copy and paste the rest of then time 😂😂😂

Hot take: Season 4 was just as bad as season 3. Worst seasons of miraculous ladybug. Both had a few great episodes, but overall trash.

@@hazeclarke Damnnn! For me season 2 and 5(so far) are the best. Though, I do agree on the fact that season 5 feels very diffrent. But then again I think thats because of the leaks which is causing that lack of exitement we saw last season, because 3/4 of the fandom already knows whats gonna happen so its not “very exiting”. I really love season 5 so far. Idk why it just makes my heart happy 😂 Season 2 just had really great writing imo and love what they did with Chloes character that season!
@@hazeclarke Season 4 was very messy idk. I really loved the finale episodes, CHEFFS KISS!! Also really enjoyed optigami! But rest of the episodes were either just above mid, mid, or overhyped and therefore mid. Like “Gabriel agreste” Is a great example. I feel like they made it look like we were getting some super spicy backstory, but the only spicy thing in that episode was marc and nathaniels comic and felix getting death threaths. They made us expect completely diffrent things about episodes, and they always turned out to be something else in a somewhat disapointing way.

Okay, I watched from season 1 till season 4 in like under 10-12 days or even less, I think it was from 31st December of 2021 and fully binged till season 3 in 3 or 4 days and then I watched season 4 I think in 4 to maybe 4 days like to process what's going on I watched them/went through them a little slower than what I did for season 1 to season 3. So, yeah and the way this season is currently airing or aired till now along the season 5 show bible and all the other leaks like excitement is just I don't even know what to say, like it's kinda dead or in a coma shall I say, like I thought I'm enjoy this season more in plot wise and also bcuz now I am in the fandom and like but Ahh I think enjoyed the last mid January point till March of 2022 and even in the like beginning beginning of this season I think before the bible leak it was great. Then it slowly just---
