Overall, I agree with your priorities for Resource Management. Focusing on the most popular multi-crew ships is the best call for now. Single-player ships, or ships that are mostly soloed make as little sense as the ships that need complete reworks.
Great video as always. Of all these ships, the Starfarer is the most in need. Not just because I own it, but because the logistics gameplay is what gets me most excited and along with a rework/gold standard pass, they could really do a lot to make it more relevant in the verse.
I have been living on my reclaimer for months. Any updates they can give it, except for a redesign, will be welcomed by me. Can't deal with losing the Nostromo feel so no redesign please😊
As an Endeavor Master Set owner I would also like to see it, but I've heard repeatedly that the Endeavor will likely not be in the game until after 1.0.

Don't think it will be the Connie series or the Starfarer. Both ships are in need of huge reworks to even get to current standarts. The Conny doesn't have the metrics for anything, espcially most components. The Starfarer is not really a popular ship as it currentöy serves no p7rpose and has already been confirmed to get reworked from a FPS level to an actual ship. And whats all the fuss with multicrew ships. People really think that only those are most popular? The Avenger series has been mentioned (or data mined) to be one of those ships, and that makes totally sense. Before the MSR, the C1/A1 would be better suited and more popular too currently. The Drake Cutlass is still a very popular ship for a good reason and has 4 variants that could be done in one go. The Hull-A makes sense as well as the Prospector. I can see the Argo Mole and Raft making sense. The Hammerhead is pretty mich a given as it has been showcased very early on for the resource Network. But the Reclaimer..... naaaa, i don't think so. Besides that its also missing some more features, the old design shows its flaws with its stiched on features to fit the new functionalities of gameplay. Its also a good candidate for a bigger rework.

The resource network feature is primarily for large multicrew ships smaller ones won't really need it in it's full form (i.e the room system) I'm guessing they will focus on the larger ones with 4.0 first and add the smaller ones later, I also tend to agree with you that some ships need full reworks but they might implement stop gap solutions for certain ships just to get it in our hands, like the mustang's cargo box.
@@ZyvhurStudios yes, they have said that especially solo single seater ships will have the least amount of engineering, but they explicitly said they are talking about ships without interior. Because you need to exit the ship to repair stuff and replace items. The Titan, Vulture, Prospector and so on do have an interior and more functions/components than a single seat fighter. And the main reason for the system being build is not to give players something to play around with. Its about getting the system ready, up and running and working. So i would not expect a stop gap measure waste of dev time and resources for something the gets fully or mostly reworked later anyways.
I hope so too but just in case I'm not going to expect too much, based off what I played in AC they just need to add relays and a terminal screen to get it working.
@@ZyvhurStudios yes, that is the first step. But those first steps do not have to be replaced. And by the way, you can also repair components with your multitool. Managing doors, gravity and life support might come later...... or maybe with 4.0? Who knows.... 😉
@@ZyvhurStudios that is the interface you are seeing. NOT how the system works under the hood. Its like the physical armor system and hull HP. People say its the same just a diffrent name. And that is totally not the case. If its just a screen and a few exzra comonents, it wouldn 't take so long to integrade it all. Those things are way more complex to intergrade as you just may see at first.
The middle row is interesting because I just had this thought about them. I think the Corsair, Connie, Runner, and possibly a misc and anvil ship all need to be brought in line. They need to all give a solo pilot 4 size 5s but the option give give multi crew as an option.
@@ZyvhurStudiosYeah, the storm is way too large for a fast, light tank. I assumed they would have designed it with the Valk in mind. There isn't much point in deploying a Storm when you basically need a Herc to get it there. I'd rather take a Nova and another vehicle to support it.
I have a feeling it will mostly come down to how new (up to date) the ship is followed by popularity. I would expect some of the ships currently in development, the C1, Hull C, Corsair, maybe Carrack, hammerhead, or Redeemer. Honestly I'm all for focusing on gold standard effort on the Aurora, Mustang, and Titan but this is kind of separate from resource management and I don't necessarily trust they'll prioritize these ships.
great video, really hoping they work on the Valkyrie. It's a long shot but I pray they raise the roof by a foot or two to allow the spartan or centurion to be carried. Love the ground vehicles but hate that the C2 is the only real option to bring the large ones.

I think the Avenger Stalker should have two of its prisioner pods ripped out and replaced with 1 gun rack and 1 storage locker.

Gold standard is a ship with less then 10 bugs, so all you can get now is the bronze standard, or just hot trash.
