At first perspective this is a Contra that harkens back to good ole' 1987!!! The memories kick in with the happy smiles of nostalgia, then you get into to it and think: "This is Contra with O.P. weapons?!". And for a while this is a ton of fun with it's weapons and it's even helpful slowdown at times, it kinda really makes you feel good and it's a bit of a revenge status for all of us that played the original back in the 80's! It's feels good to mow down all those bad guys which we probably had alot of difficulty when we were kids right?! Unfortunately during the final levels the game reveals it's true colors when you grunt out "WTF?!" or "WTH?!!" and maybe "Oh Sh!t!!!!"?!! Great game though but I still don't get the 1GB's though (effects?!!) but still a great game though and I like it how the 2017 ties back to 1987 as well.

I remember playing the original back than in the 80's....found it too easy even as a kid though. I previously went back to playing it a bit more found it even easier than I remembered.....sad times.

At 15:49 (beginning of Alien Lair) how do you make that initial jump. On my end, my jump height is reduced at this point and I always lose a life trying to jump onto the second platform. Running version 2.1d.
