Wow, when I started watching this video I suddenly disrupted in tears cause I was left behind by someone who a cherished and cared so much and after 20 y that person gone and left no trace. Since then I felted like garbage, thrashed away like a piece of rotten food. This video makes me see how powerful, brave and smart men can be. My self-respect increased a lot again. I had a discussion with a woman some years ago about work. She was big on equal opportunity, etc. At the time I was doing structural pest control work. For those who are not aware, that is the type of insect control that requires crawling under houses with heavy drills (at the time we were still using rotary hammers), drilling into masonry, trenching soil around foundation walls under the house, then finally spraying large quantities of toxic chemicals. AND doing all of that in often dusty or muddy crawl spaces, sometimes even with sewage leaks around. I told her what I did and asked her if she would like my job. But NO, she only wanted an office job, and a high paying one at that. BTW- when I was in the exterminating business, not one female ever took the job I just mentioned with our company or any other in our area. One did household pest control for a while, which is just carrying around a handheld spray tank in home interiors.

I realized a while back that we are lucky and blessed to be men. Sure the climate we live in isn’t very positive toward men and we get discarded pretty quickly but at least I don’t have to bleed every month or worry about pregnancy if I have sex. We are strong as fuck, mentally tough and don’t really care about much yet still have a soft spot for those who deserve it.

When you live in a corporate-controlled hell and both parents are required to work just to make ends-meet, it's the parents fault they give into the nonsense of lining someone else's pockets so they can afford to have a picnic every six months or go to the movies, rather than being able to go on vacation twice a year and be able to enjoy themselves without a great deal of worry over money issues.
With one parent not home to raise and love on those kids, the corporate madness is going to continue to proliferate and, eventually, all of the hooligans will destroy their corporate businesses and they will end up in very much worse shape than they are in, now. Shame on them, and shame on the people, ESPECIALLY parents, who don't control their part of the world.

Man this really made me tear up. I'm a seafarer and what clips you just saw here are just barely scratching the surface of what kinds of hardships me and my boys onboard go through. This job feels so thankless at times, and seeing this makes me feel validated. It's tough doing what we do but somebody has to do it.
The hardest, most painful jobs go without thanks. Those who receive thanks are the ones in a stadium, on stage, or tv.
