- I was lucky enough to have a friend that needed to install these awesome fenders. They look great and the quality from genright offroad is fantastic. They are extremely sturdy and look great as well. Fairly simple to install however you need to be comfortable with drilling into your jeep because you are going to be cutting and drilling to get these installed. Overall the install is fairly simple and straightforward but it can be time consuming so set across a good bit of time to get this done.

Nice install, George! I keep bolts and nuts around just for rivnuts. Personally, I prefer a tool like you have, but the old nut and bolt with a few washers does work. Couldn't even hear the mower until you pointed it out, LOL. I just did a vid with 2 combines cutting beans across the road....🙄🙄🤷♂️🤷♂️🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

This video was very helpful. Thankyou for posting. As for the running light plug that is no longer needed with these fenders…did you cut that off and tape it off, or just tape it up the connector and position it under the body and hide it?
Hey, best video on YT showing the install of these. For the marker lights, did you just just ignore the other wires in the bundle? I think it’s something like a 6 pin harness, so was scratching my head at it a bit. Thanks.
Thanks for the support! And yes all the wires i used were showed the rest were individually electrical taped and then bundled together.
Why would genrite not make a fender with existing jeep holes already. There is like a hundred holes from factory already
That would be a question for them they use most of the holes they just need to be extended
Is this just for looks because having your tires stick out that far and not blocking rocks and shit flying up and hitting the side and door is not cool.
No its pretty functional smaller fender equals more clearance and uptravel when wheeling
What happens with the inner fender wells?
We reused the factory ones and trimed them down as a temporary fix untill other ones are purchased
Do you live in mass..? Tires stick out will not pass inspection?
You have 2 inches past fenders before it wont pass inspection but depends on the shop alot of shops wont touch anything modified with a 10 foot pole now
How much did it cost to powder coat them white?
That was paint and done by a friend but powder honestly isn’t crazy expensive it would probably cost 500 ish depending on how much powder it would take and how much the shop costs for

There is it’s just a small little LED that mounts just at the forward tip of the fender no running light though

@@TaskForceOffroad I know that’s a big debate from what I read. For someone who’s jl is a daily driver, would you recommend regearing for 35s? I’m on 98 lb wheel and tire combo (285/70/17) and for 3 more lbs I can go to a 315/70. I feel like the Jeep is tiny sluggish to start off the line but plenty of power still.
