You can see it's really a replica, because the seconds hand on the chronograph runs smoothly as a mechanical watch (probably a meca-quartz movement, but the replicated the un-ticking return of the seconds hand, so can't really tell), i.e. the replica is definitely better than the original lmaoo
The right chronograph is display only and not working at all.They uses a cheap chinese movement but I guess you can customise it as the back cover can be remove lol
The fakes are not hermetically sealed, the case back pops off, they’re also not bio ceramic. Instead they’re painted metal and the crystal is glass in lieu of the plastic like the original hence the weight.

The battery is not accessed under that little planet sticker. The entire back pops off unlike the real moonswatch. Also the dial doesn’t have a recession on it. The movement is a chinese movement. Look at how slow the second hand is when the Chronograph is reset. Funny thing is, it has a Sapphire crystal where the moonswatch has acrylic.
Oh damn it's using a meca quartz as opposed to the MoonSwatch's ticking movement. The subdial at 2 is supposed to be a tenth of a second dial. Not sure what its function is on your version.

This is a (good) fake. The case is kinda good even for a fake. The way you can tell a fake is by the chorno movement and the 2 o clock dial movement..no fakes have the 'right' chrono movement compared to the original. Also original ones have a 'mesh' like band on the inside bezel - not seen that on fakes yet.

Although a Swatch fan, I would never encourage or endorse the concoction called "Moon Swatch" as it just slaps an Omega logo on a plastic Swatch to triple the price. Well, I got swept up in the original "Swatch" phenomenon that saved the swiss watch industry. At the time I knew nothing about that thought. I already had a Seiko 7548 Diver I'd purchased in '82, but was lured by the funky designs and different looks. I bought a fluorescent green see through model in the mid '80s. I wore it for a couple weeks, but then realized my Seiko was so far superior and lost interest. The swiss had a real reason to fear Japanese technology at that time. This newest release was a complete blunder and really brought down the iconic Omega Speedmaster Moon Watch. Cheers Alan

Also with the one I have, the case is a snap on one, so you can replace the battery yourself. Apart from the etched on S and the battery hatch that is not, it looks exactly the same as the original.

This is definitely a fake. How could you have thought otherwise. If you look at your receipt, it says Mission to the Sun on it. I'd say there is a possibility that the battery hatch is fake and you open the watch back to get to the battery. I did get a real Mission to Uranus and almost immediately sold it, it's complete trash! Lol. You know this fake is possibly better, that quartz chronograph movement has a sweeping chronograph seconds hand, probably a Miyota, the Moonswatch has a cheapass $1 Ronda.
Update...I just clicked your link to the Ali Express Store for these. They all show sterile dials as they should. No Omega , or MoonSwatch , Speedmaster labeling on the watches. They are blank. I didn't want to say it here in my first comment but I believe these are illegal to sell with Omega trade marks , 100% counterfeit black market stuff. But thats fucking China for you. Having handled a number of authentic moonswatches as well as fakes I can honestly say I don’t see the argument that people make that the fakes are as good as the original, or even better as some say. The proportions are all wrong, the finish is blobby and the overall wearing experience is ... odd. I understand it’s hard to call such a light plastic feeling watch “high quality” but if you handle an original and you see how sharp the case lines are, the crispness of the teeth in the crown, etc you can tell there was definitely some effort put into it. The only area in the real one I can say is definitely cheap is the crystal.
It's a plastic toy with Omega logo on it. Why would you buy it for 260€ ? It's utter crap. There's already loads that broke, the pushers broke after a couple of wears. Buy the Chinese plastic if you really need to, and keep saving for the real deal.

Update...I just clicked your link to the Ali Express Store for these. They all show sterile dials as they should. No Omega , or MoonSwatch , Speedmaster labeling on the watches. They are blank. I didn't want to say it here in my first comment but I believe these are illegal to sell with Omega trade marks , 100% counterfeit black market stuff. But thats fucking China for you. These may be illegal to import into many countries if they are branded. I would be embarrassed to use it ! Return it or trash it
Having handled a number of authentic moonswatches as well as fakes I can honestly say I don’t see the argument that people make that the fakes are as good as the original, or even better as some say. The proportions are all wrong, the finish is blobby and the overall wearing experience is ... odd. I understand it’s hard to call such a light plastic feeling watch “high quality” but if you handle an original and you see how sharp the case lines are, the crispness of the teeth in the crown, etc you can tell there was definitely some effort put into it. The only area in the real one I can say is definitely cheap is the crystal.

Its a fake, 100%. First and foremost its a mechaquartz not the same quartz movement as the actual Swatch. The domed crystal is way way off too.
I know its easy to justify since the real Swatch is extremely overpriced hyped plastic fun toy watch BUT this has Swatch and Omega branding on it which makes it a true counterfeit not just a homage. I can't speak for you and any other viewer here but whether its 30.00 or 300.00 I don't buy blatant counterfeits posing to be real. Homages are different

@@dgrantreiter Most of those on AliExpress are shown as 'sterile dialled' (a common thing, that usually arrive with no branding), but what's delivered is an outright fake, which is annoying. Truly sterile 'homages' (or maybe some alternate branding in similar fonts if they look too empty sterile) at $30 would be better (and not outright fakes).
