- Pretty typical Clio Cup race with cars being sent into the gravel after some first lap door banging. Very difficult to get back in the race once you lose your momentum...unless of course you're Max Verstappen!
*I may have edited in a few choice words from Mr Verstappen here, i think you'll agree that it adds to the drama :) I'm sure he was thinking it anyway...

In Iracing top splits its easy to find people like this, you can find f4, f3, f2, indycar drivers and more, i have been in races whit gt4, f4, f3 drivers and also whit Max one time 😝
Just the fact that Verstappen is hangry after being pushed off means how he's involved in everything he does. A real racer.
None of that "let's retire the car" crap. He wants every millipoint from every race he does. Even a Clio Cup online.
First world problem, but even though I bet he'd love to, he can't "afford" to go race actual Clios in his off weekends, just not how you run a WDC personal brand. But I bet if his employer and personal manager would give it the thumbs up, he'd be plotting to get some other championships going. There's only 24 of those high stress F1 weekends, might as well put your feet up...in a Clio or Mazda race somewhere driving distance from Monaco or East Belgium.

Hard to say if that guy did anything wrong without seeing his steering inputs/getting a closer view but either way was fun to watch him fight back and overtake cars
This is me every race blaming someone for punting, then watching replay and its me that moved over into their line. 😅
Steering inputs are overrated, the throttle can also tell a story. "Oh, I totally understeered into you, what an absolute shame!". Let's pretend we haven't seen that in F1 recently.
it's funny to me how most people would race irl in a regular car and sim in an F1 car but Max does it the other way around lmao
I've always wondered how a top f1 driver would get on in a series like the US MX-5 championship. If you've ever watched one of those events, you'll know that for 45 minutes, basically every car is touching each other. It's that close. I wonder if Verstappen would get pole and drive away as he does in F1.

Big Max fan, but in this case, guy gave him room, Max turned in where there was no room. So in this case i would fine him 5 seconds. It was not necessary.
Max turned in you say? Yet Max was still on the inside, not the outside of the corner. He knew he was getting in tight to the next corner and wanted to widen out. But Max was there. So he steered into Max. Max is clearly ahead, so it is clearly his opponents fault. There really is no argument.

@@erwinvdw lol...max drove down into him who already had the inside line going into the turn...before all of that, when max overtook him, max came out of the turn too fast and clipped the driver who already had the wide line...max is too aggressive here period

What that max cursing and insulting? When I said a curse word, I got a 2-3 day ban off off chat. Some get a week or longer. I don’t think IRacing Would ever penalize max for anything. Not even if he drove around backwards taking everyone out lol

A great driver..bur extremely over egotistical and intituled, even for a race driver! He thinks other drivers should give up places for him even when the moves not made, then crys about it and blames the other driver, even when he's blatantly in the wrong!
