With these two gorgeous cars, somehow the eyes are still drawn to the yoga pants. 🤔😅
These two could be great hosts, but need more chemistry together and personality individually. It'll come with time as they loosen up more on camera. The cinematography and post processing are clean and not overly indulgent in visual flair, very clean and clear shots the whole way through. Audio could use a little more oomph in the low end though, I know those cars have more bass than this video portrays and more low end would add some fullnes to the host's voices which sound flat, in an audio processing way, not a vocal performance way. Good video, good production, will definitely be watching for the next video.
Watched this while eating so here are my thoughts.
First off, was good seeing you back in October (I think it was october) crazy to see how you’ve mellowed out the way you have lol, but I’m happy you and the family are doing great.
You know me Dan, I’m a performance guy. I don’t care how much I have to spend to go fast. My Jetta that you saw already has a $2,000 set of Racing coilovers on it lol. I could care less for comfort. Huracan is my choice all day, any day. If I wanted a cheap supercar, bang for buck, you bet your ass I’m taking a TTRS over an R8 any day. It costs far less to go much faster than an R8 in a TTRS. Tune, bolt ons, E85. If I wanted an exquisite supercar, Lamborghini has my money, easily. I don’t see the point in spending $200,000 on an R8 when you can spend $70,000 +$15,000 in mods on a TTRS and go faster with a car of similar quality, and when you can spend only $50,000 more on a huracan that has exquisite build quality, and performance. My full opinion there.
I find the aesthetic of this video quite interesting. I’m used to seeing the quiet, more laid back style of video. This one feels a bit more alive. I’m not sure which style I like more honestly, but i like them both.
Nice to see a new face on the channel. I hope Miami treated you well. I miss Florida still, a lot, but I had no choice other than to leave and find work up north. I was homeless after the ex went back to her ex boyfriend, couldn’t afford anything out there, and couldn’t find any work out there. I’ll probably be back next year, with a TTRS in hand. Getting closer on that goal by the way, hoping to have it before my birthday in May of next year, if the finances pan out properly.
Anyways, hope all has been going well. Thanks for another sweet upload. Also, you’re our favorite Asian guy with fancy camera skills. Remember that 👊🏻

I woild have to say the R8 would be my choice, as the lady in the video said, it's a classy supercar. Not to mention it has always been my dream car.
I think both cars are great, and are the perfect contrast for two totally polar personalities.
I chose the R8. I’m tall so I needed the extra room that the R8 provides. I also prefer the R8 interior. I also like that it’s not too flashy. It gets attention but not the level of attention that a Huracan would receive. My only gripe is that Audi keeps the exhaust valves closed until you hit 3500 RPM even if you have the sport exhaust. A valve controller fix the exhaust issue but I’m not aware of a way to get around the rev limiter.
Twin Turbo that bad boy....I would suggest (T1) but Brandon and the crew @B-Rogue Built do it right👌
Dynamic mode?
@@user-cp8qm5lb2xdynamic mode opens the valves but the behavior is the same. The valves close as you accelerate and then open again at 3500. It’s due to EU regulations from my understanding.
@@constantineandreu9377 that sounds good but I like having my Audi warranty for now. I may consider it once my warranty is up.
@@constantineandreu9377UGR are the kings for the Lambos and Audis. So their more qualified than T1 for that specific platform

Ive spent time in both... If it's a base Huracan/EVO/Technica vs a R8 I will take the R8. The R8 is just as exotic, more comfortable and cost effective. However if it's a Performante or STO vs the R8 then and only then does the Huracan take the win for me.

Nobody whips out their camera phones bragging that they took a photo of an Audi or saw an Audi on the road. Only the Lamborghini has that effect
Not to mention telling a woman you drive an Audi won't do anything. Telling her you drive a Lamborghini is a whole nother level, regardless that most car guys know it's essentially the same car
The dream combo for me would be an IROZ RS3 as the sleeper daily, and a Sheepy R8 for the weekends.
If I wanted a Lambo it would have to be part of the V12 lineage: Murcielago, Aventador, or Revuelto.

Had no idea the R8 was that mellow... 5-10x softer than a base Huracan, kind of sad for a "supercar".
With that said, I would still take an R8 for easier livability, especially in a metropolitan area (Unless it's an STO or Perf.).
Tbh should have gotten a 2020 huracan evo for fair comparison since the R8 is the newer facelift model.
As an LP560 owner, love this comparison.
The Lambo edges it a lot, somebody in the office building has a beautiful R8 2018 and the style is just soft when next to the Lambo. It’s lacking something

Just bought my r8. Selling my baby r8 (ttrs). I absolutely loved that car.
Im some one who has owned three r8 V10 plus gen 2 and now own the Huracan Tecnica as shown on my channel. I think I can compare both cars the best. I think when it comes to performance there is no comparison. Lamborghini tecnica wins hands down. they are not even the same ball park. Rear wheel driving system and the power delivery and the dual clutch is simply very superior to R8. The exhaust sound. No comparisons. Lamborghini with the Akropovic hands down. Driving dynamics no comparison. Lamborghini hands down miles ahead of R8 which understeers massively. Interior quality and infotainment R8 is better. Features such as Axle lift Lambo is better. Sound system hands down R8 is better. Getting reaction from people no comparison. huracan gets reaction from every one alike and its crazy. r8 gets noticed by like 4 out of 10 people while Lambo gets noticed by 10 out of 10 people. so in conclusion I can have an R8 and say I have 90 percent of a Huracan. thats so not true. Huracan is different experience and R8 cannot come close to giving you that experience. When it comes to Super cars Budget is not the word that comes in mind.
R8 is cool, but it's too boring. Might as well get a TTRS and save some money. Get the Huracan if you want the experience of driving a supercar.

I’ve owned both and currently own a 2023 r8. Looking to trade it for a huracan soon 😅
Biggest difference for me is height of the roof. I kind a feel trap inside the Lamborghini as the ceiling is too low.
So, I would go with the R8 even if the Lamborghini looks better. R8 is also a better daily driver as it is easier to get into.
Lambos are just too flashy for me, the R8 has that elusive elegance to it while still aggressive looking in its own right.

Ewwww. Brother ewwww. The Levante is nothing spectacular (speaking from experience, ex had one). I was underwhelmed and unimpressed with the ride quality, technology, driving performance, and overall feel of the vehicle. Not to mention the depreciation hit is MASSIVE. Those who know cars stay away from the Maserati brand for a reason. If you want to look like you have money then buy used, but those who know will know.

You literally have the BEST car videos on YT. But I miss how realistic they used to be in terms of the vehicles reviewed. Go back to cars that we can actually afford and want to get knowledge about buying. Most of your viewers are not going to be Lambo and Audi R8 owners. More videos like your Abarth were outstanding. Huracan is lighter by around 200kg. 200kg is alot for a supercar. R8 is offered with a stick and 3 pedals. Huracan with a stick would be great. Coming from someone who had a 1100kg na rocket to a 1600kg forced induction rocket. Lighter feels better from my journey.
For me the Lambo, no contest, at these prices styling is a must, even people who do not care about cars pay attention to a Lambo. I know, I'm shallow.

The R8 is better.
The R8 shares so many parts with the huracan that it might as well be the same car. They share the same engine, chassis, drivetrain, etc.. In the R8, everything is intentionally muted through software to prevent it from cannibalizing into huracan sales.
With an ECU tune and an aftermarket exhaust, you can get the power and drama of the huracan with the sensibility of an Audi. That’s an absolute win in my books.
100% agree. Audi maintenance and tuning costs are way less as well. It's also easier to drive and less twitchy on track.
If it was an aventador would be an easy Lamborghini win but R8 beats the huracán all day

I own an LP610-4 pictured left. The Lambo won't disappoint in any way. The R8? The paddle shifters alone would make me kick it to the curb...
Im replacing the paddle shifters in my 2020 Audi R8 Performance this week with large carbon fibre magnetic ones. It's not like you have to be stuck with it.
Paddle shifters alone lol…first Lamborghini for you I can tell lol Easy replacement. Different strokes for all, having owned a plethora of them, R8 is just a better all round choice and more comfort. Huracan is a joy but TAXING to the body IMO, not comfortable at all unless you’re 5 foot tall.

Good video, but I think it misses the point a bit or at least misses an important facet about the experience of owning both cars. It is not about Lamborghini Huracan "versus" Audi R8 because the two are NOT rivals. They are intended for two different markets segments.
Huracans (and all Lambos) are about the spectacle. The drama. When you drive one, you get attention from EVERYWHERE, from EVERYBODY...and ALL the time. Some people really like that special feeling of getting all that attention. I do not. Neither do a lot of R8 owners. Neither do most people who have never owned a supercar but think they know what it is like to own a supercar.
The R8 is a way better EVERYDAY ownership experience than the Huracan. Hand's down. It is a V10 supercar minus 90% of the hassle of actually owning and driving a supercar. Way less people almost crashing into you on the road into as they try to take pictures of your car with one hand while driving. Way less people trying to talk to you in traffic every time your window or top is down. Way less people trying to strike up a conversation about your car with you every time you fill up at a gas station. Way less people trying to strike up a conversation about YOU, every time you fill up at a gas station. Way less people leaning up against your parked car as they take selfies when you are out. Way less people thinking you are some rich dbag.
This phenomenon is the reason why people love Porsche 911s so much. Performance and driving enjoyment with almost zero unwanted attention. Which is why if we are talking about rivals, many people looking at the R8 tend to cross shop the Porsche 911s rather than the Huracan.
