As for your coupe/convertible/topless version. I'd have to agree. Hardtop all day is my pick. Top up or down is lacking something. I don't know what. But i just comes up short style wise.

Not a lot of ragtops out there these days. At least Lexus gives you that option, and it does look awesome with the top down. Another fun and informative review from our favorite garage girl!

You make the LC look great Sarah. Lexus needs you as their main spokesperson. My OCD loved watching how happy you got when you peeled the ML protective plastic off.
Fun review as always, Sarah! However I think you overlooked one of the coolest things about the car: with the top down AND the windows rolled down, there is zero wind buffering. In fact it makes an environment bubble. I drove one with the top/windows all down in 50 degree weather with the heaters on and it got too hot! I hope you get a chance to try that before you return it. It's truly an incredible engineering feat in convertible design

Hi Sarah, I love your reviews (and your humor). I wasn't sure if this should be under this lexus review or under your NSX review, but it would be great if you could review an LFA. If you like the sound of F-1 engines, you MUST get a hold of a Lexus LFA. I know it won't be easy, but I know you can do it. Thanks for your reviews. Both your car reviews and your help with your sister's Xterra are invaluable. Take care and come to Vegas sometime.

Another great review, Sarah. This car is totally gorgeous. And the V8 exhaust note is superb; as noted in your comments. I also noticed that, while you had the car on the lift, that it comes from the factory with an H-pipe. That's also good for sound and exhaust scavenging. Keep up the great work.
it actuall sounds like a low tech 90deg american v8. uhhg. Once you drive a high perf i6 barra, you will never go back. My daily is a 800hp Fg Falcon turbo barra.
those 90deg v8 noises scream low performance to me.

@@G0ddEityawesome some people like the sound of the inherently unbalanced 90deg firing other v8, with the pulses, many don't. 90deg firing order v8s need massive crank counter weigths to take the vibration.and it is those weights that ultimately limit the performance of the engine. For a low performance (almost no performance) 4x4 v8 engine, with its tiny output vs the displacement, it doesn't matter much, the crank is not stressed too hard.
There is a reason nearly all earth moving equipment, and faem equipment use in line 6. I6 is inherently balanced, and way more reliable. E.g., the Ford i6 Barra does 1M kms in taxis, that are them sold, and the new owners love them.
But, if you like the v8 sound... those in the know just laugh.

Love the car...and your outfit, Sarah. :) Personally, I wish they had kept the old hardtop convertible when it first came out. Upon looking at the side view of it with the top up (and how cramped you looked trying to get in the back seat), reminded me of the Plymouth Prowler.
I can't decide yet. Please review the coupe again, perhaps in another colour. 😏

Nice convertible, seems in a convertible only short people or kiddos ride in the back seat. Love the colour! 21” tires, odd size but they do look cool. The side profile , top up or down it looks like they lopped the top off the coupe. Thanks for the review, Sarah

On page 23 of the owner's manual it clearly states "the rear Mark Levinson emblem in the convertible is equipped with e.p.f., emblem protection film and it should not be removed." So you broke it. 😆

Too heavy. Take the twin turbo v6 out of the LS for the Supra and put this v8 into the LS.

Love the look of this car with the top down
The LC500 is simply one of the best looking cars on the road. I would love to see it in blue, flare yellow, or orange with the convertible. The top down is magnificent but not enough to make me get one.

One of the constants of the Universe is another pro-level Sarah-n-Tuned video every 72 hours like clockwork. That Lexus would be the perfect cruiser for the Pacific Coast Highway. It needs to live in an environment where the top can be down 95% of the time. The floating penguin seemed to enjoy the experience. 🐧

In many instances, I would root for taking tops off. However, I think that the Lexus looks better as a coupe.
