It looks great on you. Despite the small case in relation to larger wrists, both lug-to-lug and lug width are still good for larger people.

My one pushback on the new BB54 was not the size but the faux rivet bracelet. But in your wrist rolls it's barely noticable. Thanks for sharing. 👍🏽given.

The 54 fits your wrist better, no? The watch is only smaller in transverse diameter and thickness than the 58. The lug to lug is very similar.

I think it looks great, but I’ll be keeping my BB58 Navy and not getting the 54. I prefer the looks and size of the 58, and don’t see the use case for a 37 mm diver in my collection.

Personally I think divers should be big but let’s face it most divers don’t see much more than a swimming pool.

Funny thing is, I was at Tysons about two weeks ago and stopped at another Tudor AD just to see the watch in person. To my surprise, their salesman went on a rant about how no one has the watch in stock since it was just debuted at W&W…then they went on to tell me that any BB54’s that I’ve seen online must be fake! I had no interest in arguing with them since I wasn’t planning to buy it anyway, but the 54 may be my first Swiss piece. Had my heart set on the BB36 but the 54 keeps luring me in. It looked great on your wrist!
And now I know just to head over to Tysons galleria next time 😆

They only had the one but it was being held for someone else. I think the 54s will be hard to get for a while.

Are you in the VA/DC area? If so, what ADs do you recommend? I’m looking for a Tudor BB58 and/or Omega AT.

The AD I mentioned in the video and Lenkersdorfer (lenkersdorfer.com/). I’ve purchased from both. No discount or anything but reputable.

Yes I want the BB 54 with the rubber strap!!!!

I personally recommend getting the bracelet and then swapping for a rubber strap.

Love the aesthetics of the 54 . I owned the 58 and sold it because I think it was too small . Therefor the 54 is not on my list . My wrist size is 6.75 and I definitely love larger watches

The 58 is as small as I would go for a diver. I like the OG Pelagos a lot.

Are they easy to get or will I face challenges like a Rolex?

      Way less challenges than Rolex.

Cool indeed. Purchasing?: no but it will surely sell out there

They’ll probably sell every one they get.

  • @robynsjp

No. It's the hyped watch of the moment, but has no longterm value, since it is basically the copy of a vintage Rolex. Better look for something that has its own personality. Still, the quality is there, so if people like it, why not ?

      I’m 100% going to buy the BB54.
The hype is because of its size. I’ve got a rather small 6.25” wrist, which means 99% of the divers on the market are just too big for me.
I tried the BB58 on a few months ago, and while it was OK, I thought to myself, “if this were just a hair smaller, it would be perfect for me”
Here we are. Also, I love the silver text on the bezel, and the smaller crown.
To me, this is a well-built modern diver with classic proportions.
This contrasts with all the other smaller divers which are usually styled in a way that is targeted for women.
The Black Bay 54 is a really solid watch, and the only one in that category today

The whole black bay line is based on older (vintage) Tudor watches hence why they are also known as the heritage range. The North Flag was probably the only modern watch in Tudor’s range with its own personality, but that is no more.

    • @TheTimekeeper
      @TheTimekeeper  ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@OzzyB1 I agree. All brands are inspired from the past but Tudor is in a unique place where it can take design language from the most successful watch brand in the world, Rolex, and not look like it trying to steal the designs. Tudor also has it's own history to pull from as well. It gives the brand a massive advantage.

Nice, but the 41 Red on jubilee would be my actual favorite from Tudor.
