The name Grand Seiko is printed on the dial. The GS Monogram is placed on it. These are two loose letters glued on.

Watchmaker here. Bought dial,movement, and hands together off ebay for 60 bucks. Recasing it

I have this timepiece with the diamond markers. I call it the Bollinger dial. Close to the color of Bolinger Champagne 🍾 (I’m the first to call it that 😂)

Do you know was the back closed or open of the real snjx90? Cause in the market you have a lot snjx90 with the open back amd i found also one with the closed one…greets

Both great, iconic, omega all in all is a better watch, on the other hand rolex is better in value and is much more popular.

No date or at least at 4 o'clock would be nicer IMO. Not sure I will ever buy another Ball due to service center options on tritium.

Great review, thank you. Question for you. In your opinion or personal preference, do you use this watch as a daily? It’s more in the dressy style side but I can see myself wearing this with just about any style of clothing in my opinion.

I prefer seiko as a brand. If I want a “high quality” watch, I wear a my Rolex. Seiko has a far better history, extremely reliable watches, and great dials.

Is the sieko watch strap equal width on the lugs as it is the clasp?

I also have the steel dive homage to this watch. I love it so much. My dad and I are big watch enthusiasts and also huge fans of the film. Just to add to the mix we’re both combat veterans and we just had to have this watch for our collection. Nothing big and flashy, and you can really feel the weight which I love. Badass watch! A must have

It’s kinda like driving a Toyota instead of a Lexus. Both good options Toyota gets you from A to B and eventually is a toss away watch but with the Tudor you’re investing in a heirloom piece that can last a lifetime and be passed down. You are paying for a luxury finish, feel, movement, experience and sentiment associated with the luxury brand and it certainly delivers on all of those. To me a Tudor BB36 is a one watch collection where as if I had a Seiko5 I would be looking for its replacement sooner rather than later.

I think both are excellent value for what they are. No shame in either. You can wear the Seiko with pride and know you have something nice on your wrist.

Awesome collection! I have the black version of that white seiko and it’s definitely a looker!! I always get a compliment when I wear it.

The money you used to purchase 80% of your collection could have just gone to a Rolex in the grey market brand new. I guarantee you that you would get more wrist time on that Rolex than your entire collection combined 😂

I have this same watch. From VSF. It's very very nice. There is only one thing. Sometimes when the light hits the map directly, the map's colors look very dull, almost gray. And sometimes it looks blue but too bright. I don't like this. I checked the original watch and the colors on it always look nice to my eyes. Laser ablation makes a big difference here.
