Tudor Black Bay Monochrome 41 on Wrist! - Is this the new Tudor Submariner?

- I finally get the new Tudor Black Bay Monochrome with the sunburst black dial on wrist and give my opinion.
The Black Bay draws inspiration from Tudor's historical dive watches, particularly the Submariner models from the 1950s. It features a distinctive domed crystal, oversized crown, and snowflake hands-a design element borrowed from Tudor's military watches of the 1960s.

I got this watch last week. I love it. Only thing is the polished portion of clasp scratches so easy and don’t like the dome sapphire. But overall love the watch. It feels smaller than a 41mm
Agree with your assessment completely. I'd just personally love the BB GMT that you have in a slimmer case with the T-fit clasp. Those two adjustments would make it perfect. Maybe add a jubilee option if I"m being greedy lol.
I actually think the case height for the gmt is not that unreasonable given the extra complications including date and gmt vs the monochrome that is time only. Rolex got it done at under 13mm and people will always compare to the gmt II. The Tudor offers twice the water resistance over the gmt master maintaining its diver watch pedigree.

Have to say I was extremely impressed with the monochrome.. I did plan to eventually purchase a sub but this really ticks all the boxes and it’s half the price. I love the BB GMT too, the used prices are incredible for what you get.
Price is irrelevant. Tudor is available, rolex sub is waiting list bs.
The new Black Bays, both this one and the one with burgundy bezel, are definitely home runs for Tudor! The new proportions are much better, in my opinion, than that GMT. I had that GMT Pepsi and sold it because I found it to be too big and the thickness made it top heavy and just uncomfortable to wear. I ended up buying the burgundy bezel and I love the size and the 5 link bracelet. It is really a great watch as is this one! I own a Rolex Submariner so would not buy this watch but I do really like it and love that you can get a Tudor "Sub" with the jubilee style bracelet. Anyway, thanks for the review and while I didn't love the Tudor GMT Pepsi like you do, I do agree with you on the new GMT. That watch just looks a little too vintage for me. For some reason, on my burgundy BB I really like the vintage vibe but on the new GMT I don't as much.
I have considered getting one of the OG burgundy ones with the Tudor rose on the dial but needed to restrain myself. Hopefully the put out another version of the 58 gmt next year. I still want to check it out though.

I think Tudor needs to spruce up their date windows a bit, maybe go with a cyclops. What do you think? Really like your videos.

I would hope so and I would imagine it should be within a short period of time. I once paid 100% for my omega greens seamaster and it took over 6 months. I wish it was only 20%.

Probably the best tudor because the more near of an explorer,problem with tudor is the same than your favorite song,you like it but you heard it everywhere so much and so much than at the end you realy hate youre favorite song...tudor is soooo everywhere than make it a little boring,just an opinion
