Thank you for doing the video.
You're welcome 😊
im 2 weeks behind you!
Me too
I've been on it for a full month. I started on March 1st @ 203.8. Today is March 31st and I am 190.0 lbs. So a loss of 13.8 lbs total.
I've had zero side effects. I started at .25mg of Ozempic for 3 full weeks. On the 4th Friday (this last past Friday), they had me go up to .5mg. I still have zero side effects. I'm on the Ozempic pen.
But, I have one tiny issue. I am so constipated! Oh, girl. I'm ordering some psyllium husk from Amazon tomorrow.
It has decreased my appetite but I still have head hunger, the food noise. I cook a lot for my family. I have 3 little grandchildren that live with me. It's Easter, so lots of baking, treats, jelly beans, etc.
I'm not hungry but I want to eat junk. I'm a 58-year-old big kid that loves kid candy!
Oh, I do take Berberine as well. I got it off Amazon. I just started that this week and it seems to help the head hunger some.
Thanks for the video. It helps that we are on the same time frame, pretty much. I have a channel too by the way. 😊
I started on the 3rd of March. We pretty much started the same time! Congrats on the loss, I honeslty have gone more being on semaglutide than I was off 😂 which is odd. But I'll take it. That was one of my biggest fears was constipation. But I did start fiber supplements the day I started injections.
Congrats! Had you changed your eating with that weight loss and exercised?
@luwilliams1059 hi! I've been dieting, or changed my way of eating about 4 years ago. To be transparent, I had VSG (sleeve) weight loss surgery going on 3 years ago. So I've lost a lot of weight in the last 3 years. But since last summer, I think June, the scale hasn't moved. I hadn't changed anything. I still was measuring my food, drinking my water, maintaining a calorie deficit... etc. So my doctor suggested the GLP1 meds. That's the only thing that has changed... adding the meds. So it seems to of jump started things again.
Eat protein and they say mag 7 is great for number 2
TLDR: The speaker is sharing their experience with taking semaglutide for weight loss, including the potential side effects and the variability in weight loss results.
00:00 😬 Period cramps are awful, but the speaker is on their fifth semaglutide injection.
00:21 😬 Nervous about increasing dose of semaglutide from 20 to 40 units due to potential side effects.
01:14 💉 Adjusting injection dosage, may get two more weeks out of current dose, increasing to 40 units soon.
01:42 🐱 My cat was missing, but I suspect my neighbor stole him, and now I'm on my fifth week of Semaglutide.
02:28 👍 Lost 12 pounds in one month on semaglutide, with only a weird taste in the mouth as a side effect.
03:25 📉 Weight loss on semaglutide varies for everyone, so don't compare your results to others.
03:52 📉 Weight loss results may vary each month, with fluctuations in appetite and hunger levels.
04:24 👍 Increased dose of semaglutide may lead to decreased appetite and increased heartburn, but the speaker is hesitant to take additional medication and hopes to address the issue through dietary changes.
Who do you see to guide you with dosage
I’m on my 3rd week of Ozempic and I also get the weird taste in my mouth soon after the injection. Otherwise, no issues.
Why are you going up if you are losing weight?
Lazy
