    Sounds very interesting, over the pond we are a little bit behind regarding GLP research and findings, we seem to lag by a few months before we get to hear things so thank you for sharing 🍔🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

    I was prescribed Rybelsus 14 mg by my primary care doctor and nothing happened for nearly 18 months. I went to my Endocrinologist for one of the GLP-1 injections on the market, she looked at my medications and she said that I was on Januvia 100mg for type 2 diabetes. She said that Januvia and Rybelsus medications cancel each other out. No longer on either of those meds, I’m on Monjaro 7.5ml now. My primary care doc retired a year ago and the replacement doc didn’t catch the drug cancellation. But the new doc did recommend the endocrinologist for the GLP1 injections. Have a great day! I hope this information helps someone else.

    I have a problem with any medications taken orally,because I have Hashimoto's and take thyroid meds.I have to be careful to take my meds 6 hours apart on an empty stomach.So,I was going 8 hours without eating.Needless to say,it wasn't working out.As it is,I get up super early to take my meds,because I can't eat for awhile after. I can see this pill interacting time wise with other medications.

    What happens when we have reached our ideal goal wid Moujnaro? How do we stop using it?

    • @Brittanylosing
      @Brittanylosing  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Most studies suggest that you can’t. I mean can it be done? Yes. But most of us will have to be on some maintenance dose forever

    • @Jade-jd8qq
      @Jade-jd8qq 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Brittanylosing OMG please don’t give this advice. You’ve interpreted the data very wrong! That’s one of the most ludicrous things I’ve ever heard, stay on a drug forever without a lifelong medical condition (i.e diabetes). The only reason why you need to stay on for life (never a good suggestion) is if in that time you haven’t changed your outlook on food & exercise and have only relied purely on the injection. Changing your mindset to your health, food & movement will be the best and healthiest way to succeed at achieving health and your ideal weight.
      Once you’ve reached your goal weight, the sensible thing to do would be to slowly reduce down to the lowest dose. Stop when you feel ready, maintain a new healthier lifestyle. Weigh yourself weekly once off, if now controlled you could move that to monthly. However you’re now at a strong position at your goal weight to do this with just the lifestyle change. If you put weight on again the injection is always there for use in the future.
      In addition, studies have shown 12-18 months of being on the highest dose your body could get used to it rendering it a bit pointless. What would your answer be to this? just wait for higher & higher doses to be available??? @Mrmoodymusa please don’t listen to her advice, speak to your Dr, and qualified licenses and do your own research.

    I believe the pill needs a preservative or digestive retarder to be able to use more of the active ingredients to absorb it later in the digestive system and possibly a seposetory

    • @Brittanylosing
      @Brittanylosing  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I agree. i assume that’s the problem that is causing the hold up. The injection is able to absorb at a different pace that a once orally pill would. However, if you’re taking it every day, you would think that the absorption rate wouldn’t matter as much

    I have found during my 10 months on a glp1, that side effects are controlled by diet. I think they should have education on what you should eat and Drink. I almost never have any side effects anymore. I know that it might seem like common sense. But many times in my life I thought I was eating right and I wasn’t. Do that makes me think maybe people think they are eating right and they are not and then their side effects are hard for them. And don’t discount what you are drinking. Juice and soda will make you sick. Alcohol of course. To much caffeine can make you sick too.

    • @Brittanylosing
      @Brittanylosing  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Absolutely. There are certain foods that I know to avoid within the first few days of my shot. And alcohol pretty much all the time doesn’t sit well with me. I haven’t had wine in well over a year because it makes me ill.
