That's a hard question to answer without actually seeing the wall. But what I will do is, if possible, relocate the valve. Or reframe that wall, which is a lot of work. I was thinking about using one of these in my kitchen ceiling. Does anyone know if you could do that roll on popcorn texture on them?

If its stud in the way will the panel sit flush to the wall because its a lip pn the inside of the panel
