A clear and concise explanation! Well done!
Great vid! I’m moving an access hole from the middle of our hallway to a bedroom closet and this panel looks sweet. Thx.
Great Job and Video. Its guys like you that make You Tube Great!!!
@@greggo502 thanks greggo!
Thanks for that great idea. We needed an access panel for inside access shut off valves for our out door shower and because of this video we didn’t have to reinvent the wheel 😉
happy to have helped! cheers
@@hammerandhome Nice, I didn't know you can buy these panels, I have a couple of showers that need to be repaired and I don't want to enclose them in drywall again.
awesome! just what i needed!
You just glue it? No fasteners?
I wish you would have shown us which kind of glue you used.
Just silicone , rough up the plastic edge with some sand paper and apply the silicone to the plastic and press it against the wall.
Great job!
Thank you! Cheers!
What kind of glue did you use
it's construction adhesive
Nicely done, thanks
Great job. Loved the Kung Fu Theater sfx
Very helpful.
Oh this is very simple. I'll try it!
You can do it!
Where do you get the windows panel door from?
Can you crawl thru that?
thank you for the great demo & explanation! can it be painted
@@maiyshafullen7244 yes it can with the right primer and paint
Thanks for the great video
Thanks!
Where is the other half of the video?
Would one of these work on a ceiling? I just had a leak repair leaving a 12x12” square that had to be cut. Instead of repairing drywall I was thinking to put a ceiling access in case the new section joints leak.
Yeah it would work. The clip is pretty strong that holds the door.
I need to have access about 24” high by about 5ft. Do they make panels like that?
you dont need an access panel
you need a door
Where did you get door panel that size? Ty Brian
He tells you the link is in the comments.
Use a razor blade instead of creating all that drywall dust with the easy oscillating tool.
Takes too long
yea it's nice to run the shop vac at the same time for dust collection
@@batty22222everyone takes the easy way out
you should be wearing a dust mask and safety googles when working with drywall either way
Do you need a tool to open the door?
flathead screwdriver
ear plugs but no eye protection. LOLOL :-)
do as i say not as i do, lol thx for watching
@@hammerandhomeand no mask 😷 or vacuum lol
