Hey Jim, another good one thanks, I clicked the thumbs up for you as always I hope it helps. Keep em coming and can't wait for the outdoor furniture!
Hey Bob Thanks for watching! Yes I will be during the furniture as soon as I get the shop done. The garage doors are next since I can't seem to find one that won't be another 4 months to get. Heck nobody had the insulation and enough sheetrock. Materials here are hard to find and when I do the cost is outrageous so the shop is taking a bit longer than planned.
My brother, I love your honesty and experience! It helps me anticipate my own boneheadedness haha!
Thanks for watching I appreciate it Jon!
That's so cool you doing that for Gus The Wonder Dog 👍👍🐶🐶
He's worth it!
Loved this video!!! So helpful, especially with the genius idea for cutting the other side of the wall using the three dots 😱!!! Thank you so much!
Glad it was helpful!
This is perfect timing for me. Thanks you!
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching I appreciate it!
Thanks for this instructional video. I decided on this brand of in wall doggie door after watching it, and then used the video for guidance on installing it. I did a little personal changes to what you had by adding expanding foam on the sides to help seal up the gap left by the removal of the insulation, and added a 2x4 underneath for some added support that may not have been needed but I wanted to do it.
Good choice! Thanks for the input and watching I appreciate it.
Excellent video. Thanks very much for posting.
Glad you enjoyed it Chad, I sure appreciate your watching and joining in here!
What did you use to cut out the insulation so neatly?
Long Razor blade like this one amzn.to/3T8sidI

Yes, thank you!

Nice job,,, seems everyone/every install video is doing so on either stucco, a flat service or wood clap board... really like to see how someone handles vinyl siding. should you trim with azek and attach to that with j-channel? can't see just siliconing around it will work.
Thanks, will do! In my area yes this is fine but your right and it would also look better too!
I sure appreciate you joining in here and the great comment it means a lot to me that you would take the time to watch my video!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and talents 👍😎
My pleasure! Thanks for watching I appreciate it!
Fantastic video. Do you know if a permit is required for yhe installation of this door? Im located in NJ
I don't know about NJ but I have never had to pull a permit here, Best resource would be calling the planning and zoning department there and ask them. I have always found them helpful in my area. I never seen or heard of anyone being fined for installing one though. Thanks for watching!
Great video!!!! How big is your dog? I have an Olde English Bulldogge that weighs 145 lbs. Just wondering if that size door would work? Thanks
Hi Phil, we have a 100+ lbs. German Shepard that slips right through very easy.
This was really helpful!
Thanks for watching I appreciate it!
Great tutorial on installing this door, thanks. How much outside air is getting inside?
Hi Brian, It has two thick flaps and to be honest I don't notice any getting in or out unless there is a lot of wind hitting it and if that's the case I just slide in the metal cover to close it if needed.
Hey thanks for watching, I sure appreciate it!
What size is the dog door?
This one is the large model.
What if you can’t find a spot between studs?
Hi and Welcome, well it's a bit more work but you would need to add framing like a window would need with support beam above. Since I can't add images to this reply I searched for a diagram that may help i.stack.imgur.com/1CFU3.png
@@ILikeToBuildStuff thank you so much for your time!
