  • Fructose from whole fruits is absolutely safe and healthy. You do not need to be scared of it even if you are diabetic. Including 2-3 servings of fruit in your diet has many health benefits.
    You do need to be aware of how much added or hidden sugar you are eating. But even for children, that does not translate to an absolute ban on ‘treats’ once in a while. Focus on including regular physical exercise for kids and adults alike and choose whole carbs, and you will be fine.
