Amazing grace
How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost
But now I'm found
Was blind, but now I see
'Twas grace that taught
My heart to fear
And grace my Fears relieved
How precious did
That grace appear
The hour I first believed
Through many dangers
Toils and snares
We have already come
'Twas grace hath brought
Us safe thus far
And grace will lead us home
When we've been there
Ten thousand years
Bright shining as the sun
We'll have no less days to sing God's praise
Than when we first begun
Amazing grace
How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost
But now I'm found

What a beautiful rendition of this amazing hymn by The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards! The arrangement of this song, with the bagpipes, the choral background and the strings at the end of it is very, very majestic. The Scottish scenery is breathtaking! Congratulations, The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards and the other fantastic musicians on this wonderful version of this hymn!
As my tears fall for my 2 fallen hero's, my father, an Andrew Cole Hawes my son, followed my footsteps into military, I love n miss you both dearly, as well to all my fallen brothers n sisters at arms. Never shall you be forgotten......

I Don`t know why but when I hear Bagpipes playes "Amazing Grace" ....I Cry ....and I Love it.....
This was my dad’s favorite song and I’d play it for him. I wish that somebody had played it for us at my dad’s graveside service, after a true American patriot passed away on the Fourth of July 2021. I was the one that saw my dad pass away and it was just a moment that I Will remember for the rest of my life.
How wonderful that memory will be for you. Your father died during Covid, so you were blessed to be the only one by his side. Condolences to you and your family.
Every time I hear this song , I think of mother father and family would have passed. My uncles and aunts on my mom side were proud. Can. scots. RIP.

The woman I loved has gone on to be with The Lord!🙏😢. She was and is My amazing Grace, she came into My life under the most outstanding set of circumstances. I Thank God for that woman. She got me away from alcohol abuse AND closer to the Lord.

Rest In Peace prince, my Scotland be safe from the royals without you
Amazing Grace was recorded by one of HM''s Scottish regiments in the mid-70s, and shot up to top the charts. It was featured on TV/Top of the Pops, in a video featuring an athlete (likely a soldier of the Regiment) performing on the parallel bars. It was so elegant..
I’d like to thank all our military past or present for their service lest we forget thank each and everyone of you you do a amazing job for so little
the military aren't serving you, they are serving the psychopathic dynasties that control this world.

@@frslam So what are you saying Fraser i would think the author of the lyrics to Amazing Grace being English that would make the Hymn at least fifty percent English and zero percent Scottish
