I am Not a Scottish, but the Love I have for this Country, it’s Beauty, it’s People, it’s plants, it’s whiskey, it’s Music and its Troops is unfathomable.
I wish I could fight alongside the Scots.
I wish I was a Scottish Citizen
*I love You Scotland* ❤️
Thankyou kindly, luv from Scotland 💕
Tribute to those fallen comrades and soldiers who died for their homeland... Major respect from Australia!
Scotland has always fascinated me with its charming nature and green hills. I hope to visit it one day, and wander the streets of Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Greetings to the Kingdom of Scotland✨🍃
Native Scot here, both cities are beautiful but you need to drive through the Highlands. It is truly breathtaking
Ever since I heard this version I play it several times on july 15 when 30 fellow military musicians and 4 crew members died in the Hercules plane crash on Eindhoven airport in 1996. Together with: "Hymn to the fallen-Herculesramp 1996". Always in my heart!!
Medicine 💊💊💉💉💉
Anyone else listen to this with the eyes closed and just feel there ancestors taking over, one word to summon this up is spiritual 👌💯💯
Respect from ALGERIA .This is absolutely the most beautiful thing I've ever heard.
Dz's everywhere x)
Perhaps the most beautiful piece of music ever recorded. Nail my soul to a tree!
Raises my soul to a new level.
As a kid I hated the bagpipes but now as a grown man it's the most beautiful and emotional music I've ever heard
I can recall way back in 69 the CO at a Fire Support Base in South Vietnam would have his batman play the pipes at 'stand to' as the sun went down.
All was dead quiet, except for the haunting sound of the pipes. Something I remember to this day.
I always wondered what Charlie thought. Maybe a new 'psyops'.
Ma wee da absolutely adored this piece of music, adored his country.
Breaks my heart hearing this without him but I listen to it everyday and I see him sat still in the moment every time.
William Aaron Scott, my dad and the greatest man I have ever known, I miss you every day and we'll play this when I meet you again x
RIP auld yin x
Your da had good taste, RIP.
I'm always amazed by how beautiful an instrument the Bagpipes are when played well.
other countries have bagpipes but the Scotish give best music.
Polish bagpipes are ok but not even close to the Scottish

LOVE SCOTLAND LOVE THE SCOTTISH PEOPLE . ALways made welcome here in LIVERPOOL!
My mother was a native American and my step father was a Celt, so this really sings to me.
Same here....I found out recently that I have red indian blood...I'm suppose to be white irish protestant lol
@@TheAlanmarks That's actually pretty common, the Brits brought a lot of Celtic prisioners to work in colonial America and the prisioners ran away and lived with the natives.
@@TheAlanmarks Native Americans and the Irish have a long history of solidarity. Beautiful friendship between nations really
As a human being, this music really speaks to me
There i was, looking for a good metal version of this tune. Found this gem, couldn't hold my tears. I must have some scotish ancestry! :)
Folk black metal
Why is that? I tear up Everytime I hear it. I am american
I feel the same way. I just know that I love the sound of the bagpipes.

@@franklinmills1756 same thing with me regarding the Scottish ancestry and loving the Scottish music but I am also Irish and I love Scottish music a lot because I play the base and tenor drums in a pipe and drum band that is named after the 3rd battalion of the royal regiment of Scotland aka the black watch
Such a lovely rendition of an iconic piece. I need to go to Scotland and see with my own eyes it's beauty and splendor. Scotland the brave!
Go for it!
Written by Dougie MacLean. Search his song titled 'Caledonia'
Started up my pipes and played along with the entire thing, and it was one of the greatest practice sessions I ever decided to do, and I will definitely be doing it again. Absolutely beautiful song to play and to listen to, Alba gu bràth.
Wow. Good for you.
There's something lovely and unique about the sound bagpipes produce. Love it. Love from Malaysia. 🇲🇾🇲🇾🇲🇾
One day I'll be there in Scotland. I need to know this country so badly. Long live Scotland, from Brazil.
+Bruna Borges With a bonnie face like yours you will be welcome

Traveled in Scotland decades ago. Sad i can't quite afford to retire there. Breathtaking country. Found Scots in general far more polite than Americans of which i am one. I am a Reed so can claim a wee bit of the Highlands. God bless bonny Scotland......
This rendition has been played to absolute perfection, it is truly special.
Well done to the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards.
The music haunts me. So beautiful. It calls me to a home I have yet to see. ❤ 🌵 🇺🇸
Having Scottish on both sides of the family, this just makes me feel at home...
I was in the Royal Scots Dragoon guards regiment as a young Glaswegian 50 years ago, I heard them play at Redford Barracks in Edinburgh ,practicing for the military tattoo, it was incredible to hear live, my friends and I would take our cargo of alcohol up the outside of the battlements and get drunk , it seems like a lifetime ago now. The pipe bands are incredible. Rock on.
That’s a good thing to get drunk to Francis (from another serving soldier)
Aye Min Braw
I came here with my grandson in 2023 having only been once to Edinburgh it wasn’t until I stepped into the highlands that I realised I’d found what I’d been looking for !!!
I bought a house in Inverness a decision I will never regret I love it in Scotland
Being a Scotsman, this hits me right in my soul and shed a tear for my father everytime I hear it.
If I need a pick me up I listen to this as it boosts my heart ❤
A very powerful piece of music that stirs the soul
Its stirs my soul indeed my friend .
It's deep. Too deep. It hurts.
Its beautiful though
This is good music for dreaming of a better future, the video shows wonderful pictures of nature and old buildings. What goes wrong with over 3000 peoples, which dislike this work of art !
You are in right my friend!
Dad's side is Scottish, but I feel a strong connection with scotland. Bagpipes and the drums just go right through your body
Same. 💕🦋💕
That's the point.
Scotland will always pull you home 🕯️
I love ❤️ Scotland, this music touch my heart and moves me to tears every time I listen to it. Very powerful

Oui c est si beau que le voyage se fait avec les simples pensées de cette musique
My tour guide/bus driver played this on the bus at the end of our tour through the Scottish Highlands and I will never forger the scenery I witnessed with this song playing. One of the most beautiful countries I have ever visited with some of the nicest people I have ever met. I would love to live in Scotland some day. Oh and I love your whiskey too. Much love from Canada.
my friend i hope next time you come you will see a NATION once again! not a province of england! and it is WHISKY! good luck ,take care. SAOR ALBA
I too am Canadian and would love to see Scotland,it’s on my bucket list.
Proud to be Scottish, I absolutely love my country. There's nothing like the sound of bagpipes to a Scottish person.

Wow👏👍
Hi Paul, at one point in history everywhere north of the Humber Estuary was Scotland. So if you are from the north of England, hey, you have Scottish heritage. All the best. 🏴🇬🇧
@@davidgilroy1214 no sadly not I'm from tamworth in Staffordshire but we were in graig tara last week great place beautiful scenery great people but unfortunately no pipe band

All the best from Scotland 👍
those from the British Isles may not know how many Americans have roots in Scotland and Ireland, and UK. This brings out all your heritage. Thank you.
Thats a fact !
Well I am half Polish-German mix; that's from my mom's side. My dad's side gets more complicated with a mix of German, Norwegian, Swedish, English, Irish, etc, etc. (I actually think there is some Jewish heritage as well, but I could be mistaken)
I am a white American mutt with all kinds of European heritage. That's why it is just easier for me to say I'm American. :)
@@sherbexqc9532 You can't spell and you're calling people dumb because of their skin colour 😂

I am by heritage an Austrian/English, but I was reared by a Scotsman which will be in my heart forever!
Mike N.
My homeland, My roots ..... Im so so proud to have Scottish blood .... Whenever I hear the pipes my heart melts and anything seems possible
Tracey Turner God it really looks beautiful, I wonder though if it's more like what they show you in the movies which is usually the dark, dank, rainy, cold place, or how long that season lasts, I still wouldn't mind taking the trip there and seeing some of that landscape that you can't see anywhere else.
are you completely idiot? mohicans are native american tribes
fluffy hedgie I know that, and I'm talkin about the theme and the Scottish band playing the theme from the movie, and since they are Scottish, and the other person posted a comment about being proud to be Scottish, I was wondering about the landscape, particularly, what they are showing in the video, The beautiful landscape in Scotland.
You know, just because you have a keyboard it does not make you a warrior ,it makes YOU look like the idiot because either you can't read correctly, or you don't have the attention span to comprehend the entire comment, nobody mentioned the Mohicans.
It's kind of early to get on that keyboard and start your day wishing you were a Warrior you little troll , I would just love to see you in person .
the Dragon no shit! he's getting his troll brain ready for the day. my God! what a fucking fool.
Anyway, I think bad bagpipes are pretty cool instruments, even AC/ DC used them in one of their songs, which sounded awesome.
Lucifero El Hooligan don't stress your head too much about it ..... Clearly no understanding lol.... Thanks for the appreciation of the sounds of my homeland :-)
Never been to my ancestral home Scotland.
I need to get there
I am English living abroad, but when I hear the bagpipes my skin goes goosebumps, I love this music
