- I combined "Honor Him", "Elysium", and "Now We Are Free" into one song.
This was pretty simple to do, the only editing required was to blend them together and rearrange "Elysium" and "Honor Him" and "Now We Are Free".

This was my mom's favorite movie. It was the first ever "adult" movie I was allowed to watch. We watched it so many times together when I was little. She passed away a few weeks ago after battling cancer a second time. The title and vibes of this song fit so perfectly with how I feel. I'm sad she's gone but I'm glad she's free of her cancer pains and is in a better place

My mom passed away 2020. She was full of cancer. She had no Chance. She fighted like a Warrior. But Christmas 2020 she went to heaven. Now a bit more than 3 years later im going soon to be a dad. And i know , my daughter will have an Angel in heaven. Thank you mom, God bless you.

My mother passed away last month after 50 happy years on Earth, she was the victim of a bicycle accident 3 years ago and was in a coma up till now. Gladiator was one of her favorite movies and the scene when Maximus walks across the field to join his family never failed to make her cry even after countless rewatches over the years. This song is just too good and it will be played as the final song for her funeral as she takes her final trip across the fields.
Everytime I listen to it I get all warm and happy and I can feel her presence somehow. It is a sad song but it is also hopeful, it gives me hope that I will one day see her again when it’s my turn to walk across the fields...but not yet, not yet.

A few days into 2024 and it’s still just as good as ever, me and my dad watch this film together atleast once a year. A true masterpiece.
Watched it for my first time March 2023.
The movie is okay, but the soundtrack is beautiful and this track in particular is the highlight.

Yesterday, I carried my dad's coffin on my shoulder to the front of the church - the same way he supported me for all my life. This was playing as we entered. I have never, ever been prouder in my life, and I can tell you that I probably never will be again. I honoured my gladiator; my hero. Like Maximus, his fight was over only after he lived long enough to ensure everything was okay for his family. To any of you reading this, you need not a moment exactly like mine to show you what really matters in life, just keep your heart and eyes open for what that may look like for you. My dad’s favorite movie of all times was Gladiator. He passed away after a strong fight against lung cancer. He also managed to live for more than 20 years with skin cancer. While in bed, in his very last moment, apparently unconscious, I said whispering to his ear:

His eyebrows moved, he tried to give me a smile, he passed away, 10 seconds after.

My Mother passed away on November 25, 2019 after a strong fight with cancer. It's been a little more than six months since she left this world but I still can't get over it. When I hear this song I remember my Mother and it makes me cry...now you are free, Mama! I'll see you again but not yet.🌸

This masterpiece will echo for eternity
I cried a lot today, but it feels good to release it. My father passed away last month due to dementia at the age of 70. Until his last breath he fought against this hell of a sickness like a warrior. He no longer could talk due to a stroke, but his eyes were following our voices and movements constantly until the end, when we lied at his deathbed. More than 10 years ago, he showed me and my brother this masterpiece Gladiator and I will never forget those moments with this beautiful music. It always reminds me of him, my hero.
I love you dad and we will meet us again, but not yet, not yet. ❤
