Some people love tattoos - and some people REALLY love tattoos. In this Hooked On The Look special we meet four people who have taken their love of being inked to the extreme. Sylvain Helaine has covered his entire body and face in tattoos despite being a primary school teacher, while 36-year-old Brazilian, Marcelo De Souza Ribeiro has over 1000 tattoos, a split tongue and fanged teeth. 22-year-old Ethan Bramble, from Melbourne in Australia has undergone more than 40 body modification procedures in his quest to become the world’s most modified youth, while 33-year-old hairdresser Richie The Barber thinks he has the funniest tattoos of all - he’s tattooed his entire face to look like a permanent clown. The first one actually tattooed almost half of his face like solid black except you can kind of see the tattoos that he had a little underneath them.. really bad looking to me (the tattoo) it's kind of like he ran out of places to tattoo so he just scribbled the whole side of his face in with Ink

All of them appear nice-as they say, you cannot judge a book by its cover. But personally, I like the second person featured best. I like his tattoos, and the fact that he’s a teacher, that says a lot about the school he’s working in. They’re very open-minded. I have several tattoos myself and a licensed teacher.
Overall quality of the 2nd guy’s tattoos is excellent.

Second guy's tattoos are a bit more cohesive and bright and I think I really like them. Unlike most of the other guys they seem to be very well done and they are not just random weird tattoos. I personally appreciate the fact that he is not modified. He was hot before all of these tattoos but he is still hot in a different way now. Would date him no problem 😍

I change my manicure pretty regularily. I do have some tattoos too and it's totally not the same imo :D. Because you mostly don't see your tattoos that often (even though I have one on my wrist and one on my ankle), but you constantly see your hands/nails.

I met the younger fella around a year ago when I was out in my home town. He was super nice! Stopped for a couple of photos and had a drink with me. Kudos to him because he makes a living off his look.
All of these people are well adjusted and happy. What more could you ask for. Some peoples passion is sports or music, these guys just love ink. Its a beautiful thing to be passionate about something

It doesnt litterally get " tattoed". They inject ink in the first layer( i think) of the eyeball. The ink spreads around the eye on its own😊.

I know what the first guy means about being irked when asked about the number of tattoos. I have a lot of tattoos, including two ongoing sleeves. Idk how to count the ones on my arms because they're mainly linked together below the elbow. You lose count at a certain point. Heavily tattooed people like me (I have tatoos on every part of my body except my face) really stop counting at a certain point. I only slowed down because of finances. My tattoos for the past few years have been gifts. I don't regret anything. Tattoos for many people hold memories that you wear on your skin, and you remember what you were doing or feeling when you got each one.

The black scribbles tattoos like that are their own thing, look up brutal black for more info. It's supposed to be a ritualistic pain experience without regard for aesthetics. Usually the people who do it are already heavily tatted, and a lot of times it covers up some beautiful work. Which is sad to me, but I get why people do it. Can't say I'd ever do it myself though.

It was definitely done in the wrong place, eh? Bridge piercings are supposed to be much deeper, his is a surface piercing and the skin between the ends of the bar is way too narrow. It'll reject and leave an awful scar and probably hurt like hell 😣

idk, the first guy seemed to just randomly take up space and try to connect them. whilsr the second guy artistically put them together so that they sit cohesively on his body. i don't have any tattoos on my body (too scared of needles) but i really like them. i think they're pretty and at the end of the day, these people like them so why not?

For the most part, regarding permanent modification, I'm fairly accepting. But getting the eyeballs tattooed (especially tattooing your own!) is so risky. The eyeball ink trend really hasn't been around long enough for health experts to know about the long-term effects on eyesight or ink fading. I wouldn't gamble with my eyesight, and I think the look is somewhat demonic. Also, I shake my heads at people in their 20's and early 30's being confident they'll never regret having tinted eyeballs and other irreversible mods.

Since that documentary aired, he has inked the whole right side of his face completely black (split in the middle, "Harvey Dent/Two-Face" style), now it's a tad much IMHO.

i don't understand how people can be so nasty sometimes. If you don't like what you see then just look away or walk away. I find it fascinating how people transform themselves and i support it. Just let them live their lives. It's their body's, not yours. The same with the "black alien project". It's extreme yes but if he wants to remove body parts then just let him do that. It's not my or anyone's business. These people are living their lives how they want to and they seem extremely happy. If i ever saw one of them in real life it would make my day just because i know that they are doing this to be more happy about them selves. And i love that they are living their best lives despite the stupid and negative reactions they receive.
The second guy has very quality Japanese art which really makes him look unique. The first guy it’s more shocking because of the satanic imagery and bad tattoos overall look that scares people the most.

That scarification on the first dude's face is hardcore. Its crazy that you can tell how attractive he is even with most of his face being covered in ink. Truly blessed with the good bone structure. Haha.
