Hi Shannon. Enjoy watching your videos. Love that you show your mistakes along with the good parts of the process you remind me so much of my future daughter-in-law that it’s uncanny. She is not a quilter, but your personality and the way you talk makes me smile. Keep up the good work. Love the mindless sewing also.
I'm so happy I found you. So so good and easy for an old gal (76) to follow along. I use to quilt a lot in my younger days. I am getting back to it and you are amazing and explaining all that I have forgotten. thank you
Glad to see you back but so sorry to hear that you have been so sick. The illness seems to be running ramped among everyone. Hope every day you get even better.
Hey, Shannon. I am the lucky recipient of the goody bag. I have unpacked and “petted” the fabrics, looked at the book, and used the seam ripper and rotary cutter. I finished three “I Spy” quilts for my great grandchildren for Christmas. Our church has been without a secretary since Thanksgiving, so I have been filling in. That has taken up a lot of my sewing time. As soon as I get back to retirement, I will be using some of the fabric to make a really pretty quilt. I am so happy you are recovering from your illness and are back to making videos.
Glad you're on the mend, I've had the full blown flu and it is BRUTAL. It was at that time that I realized that the flu also kills. Brutal. No laughing matter. I got a cold 5 days before Christmas and that was bad enough. So far, knock on wood, I have not had covid. Thanks for the RWB inspiration. This is PERFECT for my new 4th of july picnic quilt. Yay! So perfect for the charm pack that is the coming and the strips I have hanging around. Perfection.
The flu is so miserable. It’s lingering with me. For Christmas may one son and myself were sick. Horrible day. Only our 2 sons and their wives and our daughter and her son our grandson got together. The rest of the family are gone. Sad but at least we have each other. I hope everyone that is sick gets better quickly and we have a wonderful year.
So glad to see you back again! Everyone around me has had the crud too! I guess it is my turn now! I love the cardinal fabric! The JoAnn’s near me is a very small store so they don’t carry as much stock as the larger stores 10 miles away. I’m sure you will be able to create something beautiful with all of it! I love what you are doing with the charm squares and the strips in the red, white and blue! Wishing you a very Happy New Year!🎊 😊
ha! did you know the adage, "it's not done until you've bled on it?" And when you do, please don't think I'm gross, but your own saliva will remove your own blood. Not someone else's, not that gross, but if I bleed on fabric, I touch it with the tip of my tongue until it's gone, in a matter of seconds.

Yay!!!! I was thinking Diana was right, but didn't want to say it and it be wrong.. lol. Glad you're enjoying the goodies!
I hope you feel better soon. Good idea to do some easy quilting. It takes care of the desire to sew anyway. Get well.

It’s been going around and the cough seems to last forever! I’m still working on Christmas stuff so I will be ahead of schedule! Haha
That's what I'm going to do!! So we will be doing a Christmas 3 yard quilt soon!!
