Do you use your seam ripper (we call them quick unpicks in Australia). I’ve seen some women on various sewing videos use them with the red dot facing down and running the blade along so it just undoes the whole seam easily
I saw when you sewed that one wrong side up. I tried to tell you. I love this quilt! Love how you show your mistakes. Thanks so much for all the tips. I am watching. Haven’t tried one yet, but I have oodles of fabrics. ❤️
Ohh there's definitely mistakes ,) but we fix them or find a way to make them work and we get on with it. Usually only we can see them once it's all finished. Others see a beautiful quilt.
Have you thought of sewing a half square to only one end and using the other piece on the opposite end of another row. Like that you don't have to trim anything from the ends
First time watching your channel, stunningly simple and sewer friendly quilts! Thank you for sharing this tutorial and pattern. I have to tell you those Christmas pannels got me I teared up rembering my Pop in the USArmy ASA most of the time off in different countries doing secret stuff. But my mom always made sure he was home on holidays. But he'd sit with us kids and paint, draw or craft something with us to celebrate. He's with our maker now but those memories were there. I started sewing at 6 with my grandma on a Singer trundel she'd make quilts from my uncles old clothes (8 of them). The backs were old wool army blankets, so heavy and scratchy!! I got to help with the tying of them. Bless you and yours looking forward to your next video💜.
Lov the quilt idea Fast and easy. I lov the cotton quilt. I have had the last stitch quilt me several quilts. I have worked for the cotton quilt in the pass .
I love how easy it looks. I have not made one so this would be better than trying to match all the seams, I like it staggered. Thank you. I think this is the first time here. So nice.
You just popped up in my feed. Your quilt is lovely. A tip on your rotary blade. Instead of changing it out just turn it over. You will surpised how sharp it is. They are so expensive any extra use is a plus.
I also just found your channel. You are so easy to listen to and understand, you don't come across as perfect and explain everything very well. Thank you! 🥰
This is a great idea and I liked your presentation. Perhaps even easier is to put the half square pieces at the end of every row and then join the rows in opposite directions. It accomplishes the same look with a bit less trimming off at the end.
I loved this…great idea to do it in block style. I finished a scrap quilt about 10 days ago, using the backing for the front border. My friend and I laugh that the quilts we make without patterns would make some folks crazy..oh, well!
Thank you for a fabulous idea for quick quilt. Great, practical ideas. I have enough Charm Packs for a few. The log cabin and layer cakes also a great idea
I do that all the time. Stitch my pieces on opposite sides, and I'm hand stitching my pieces together 😆 I have never used a sewing machine. But I'm wanting to learn so badly
OMG, I just started a charm pak quilt for my niece for her wedding. I don't have lots of time, but I was soooo worried about matching seams on the rows! Dear Lord, I am so glad I looked at your video! Why didn't I think of bricking it......Thank you so much. You made my day!!!!!
I love this strip idea. Incredibly quick results. I laughed when you noticed you sewed one end sewn upside down, I have done that a million times. I’m glad to know I am not the only one.
I just found your channel. I’m always looking for easy quilts to use up charm packs. By the way, I saw you sewing the one half charm the wrong way but I couldn’t stop you!! lol. We have all done it more times than we care to mention!
Many of us sew slowly It's just that those who can create things quickly are the only ones which mention speed. 😂When I see a project someone says they completed in a few hours, I can only shake my head and admit that it takes me an hour to do what they probably do in 15 minutes! It is what it is, and at least I enjoy all the time I actually spend.
I love your quilt tops. I owned a quilt shoppe a few years ago. I had to close due to bad health of my hubby. We promoted best press. It is the greatest. I bought gallons and refilled the bottles like u have. We sold out all the time.
Love how easy it is to follow you. Definitely will be watching you from now on. You make it so simple to make a quilt top that takes no time at all. So glad you shared this with others. Thank you.
I love to collect 8 charm packs to make a throw size top . Now I’ll make some like you did with the staggered blocks! We have two recliners and two twin size grandkids beds that I make matching pairs of charm pack quilts for holidays. Sew much quick and easy fun!!!! I also subscribed to your channel.
I'm gonna do that one . I was trying to decide on a pattern , but that one will show the beautiful bunny prints on the fabric . It's a baby quilt . By the way, there's a lot of orbs floating around there . ❤
First time watching your tutorial. Thank you for sharing. You are very good at teaching are start to the point and dont talk unnecessarily. Liked and subscribed
Just found your channel! Thank you for sharing this quick and cute quilt top. I'll be so nice not to matchy-match a ton of corners or points. Great quilt for charity lap-quilts for one of our local senior centers. I've really enjoyed your tutorial... and intend to check out more of your content. Take care and blessings to y'all.
Very cute! If you can't find the charm packs buy a 10" stacker, it will make 4 charm packs. You could make a large quilt and still have the baby quilt.
I love that 2 1/2 inch ruler - that would so a game changer for me. I sew to the wrong side all the time and yes I am slow sewer as well and do not chain piece. Thank you for the mention. That Christmas fabric is amazing! I loved it as soon as I saw it and knew I had to have it. I found it on the virtual shop hop that I was in.
Enjoyed your tutorial and the Christmas farm fabric. It always makes me so jealous seeing the lovely fabrics you can get in the states I live in Ireland it’s very hard to get a variety of fabrics my nearest store is about 50miles from me But we do have a group in my town who get together weekly and see etc I’ll be looking at your videos again thank you Ann
Hi, first time watcher here. What a pretty, fast and easy quilt! I'm so anal about placement that I know I would lay the rows out before sewing them together lol. I love that farmhouse Christmas fabric! I hope I can find some of it😊
Very pretty fabric love the staggered. Brand new to sewing so i appreciate the simplicity and your instructions and even your top! Lol TY
I am a beginner and I have learned SEW much from YOU!!THANK YOU!!🎉😊
Great idea for some quick quilts! I frequently sew the pieces with the wrong side up. Thank goodness for seam rippers.

I have some fat quarters.. I love it!
Beautiful. Thank you for the ideas. I have so many and didn’t know what to do. They’re so pretty I didn’t want to use them wrong. 😊
This is so pretty. I love this Quilt top ! Thank you for sharing !
Have you thought of sewing a half square to only one end and using the other piece on the opposite end of another row. Like that you don't have to trim anything from the ends
I just bought a layer cake so I can make one of these! Love the prints!

I am a beginner quilter- thank you for all your help and details
I remember that fabric line! I made some kitchen curtains from the beige print. Clever Shannon; NO matching seams 😅
Awesome thank you. I was looking for quilt to make with Charm pack
Life is better when you sew, embroider, and have a dog
And a cat. Two cats. Three dogs. 😂 Apparently, I need all the chaos in my life. I’ve also learned how to sew pet beds with minky. 😎
Amen to that!!
My 2 cats think they can help with sewing by sitting on the sewing table or machine!
My dogs like to help lay out blocks lol
It’s a very pretty charm pack. Lovely colors.
I saw you sew that on the wrong side. I did the exact same thing last night. I love this idea for a quick quilt throw
This was fantastic. I’m always looking for an idea to make a quick lap quilt and this is perfect. Thank you❤❤
Muy bonito!!! Thanks for shering, I am new in quilting, so simple projects inspire me a Lot, regards from Mexico
I like the colors of this. You did a great job.
Very cute! I have plenty of charm squares and layer cakes!!
I lay mine out on my bed before sewing so I get a better balanced quilt.
I do too
I do the same
I try that then the dog jumps up to be involved!
@@ChickenTender57 😂😂
I usually do too!! I just let it go on this one . ,)

One of my favorite fabric collections. Simple always works for a baby quilt.
I love how easy it looks. I have not made one so this would be better than trying to match all the seams, I like it staggered. Thank you. I think this is the first time here. So nice.
I would go through my stash for complimentary fabric to make two more charm packs.
You just popped up in my feed. Your quilt is lovely. A tip on your rotary blade. Instead of changing it out just turn it over. You will surpised how sharp it is. They are so expensive any extra use is a plus.
Awesome idea! It never crossed my mind, thanks!
REALLY? I'm gonna try this, Thanks 😊

I would like to sew by hand. ❤

Love the quilt you made with the 5" squares. The fabric is so beautiful and love how you arranged the rows. You are very creative.
Great idea. thank you

Gorgeous fabric
Super cute love the scrappiness and how quickly it came together!
First time viewer! Love the charm pack quilt! Have several different packs I can use!! Yay!!!
Very cute! If you can't find the charm packs buy a 10" stacker, it will make 4 charm packs. You could make a large quilt and still have the baby quilt.
Great idea!!!
You could add a background fabric between the charm pack fabrics to get the larger quilt, since you couldn't get two more of the packs...
I love that 2 1/2 inch ruler - that would so a game changer for me. I sew to the wrong side all the time and yes I am slow sewer as well and do not chain piece. Thank you for the mention. You are so welcome! Can't wait to see what you do with your fabric!
If you tried chain piecing, I'm sure you will like it. It goes so much faster & saves thread!
Love that you used charm squares for your quilt. So easy.😊
Enjoyed your tutorial and the Christmas farm fabric. It always makes me so jealous seeing the lovely fabrics you can get in the states
I live in Ireland it’s very hard to get a variety of fabrics my nearest store is about 50miles from me But we do have a group in my town who get together weekly and see etc I’ll be looking at your videos again thank you Ann
It’s beautiful
Very pretty
Lovely. The Christmas quilt is absolutely stunning.
What a fun quilt!! Thanks for sharing…………
I love that fabric!
Hi, first time watcher here. What a pretty, fast and easy quilt! I'm so anal about placement that I know I would lay the rows out before sewing them together lol. I love that farmhouse Christmas fabric! I hope I can find some of it😊
Love that simple quick charm quilt! Adorable 😍😍😍
love that fabric and what a great, fast quilt idea!
Nice cute panel
that turned out co cute, and no matching seam! Love it
Yes, I was thinking that, too. How much easier not to have to match seams perfectly at each corner!
No matching seams.. next one I'll spread out the colors more. Just wanted to see how it would go
Love it!
