I have 2014 convertible 3.7 and I decided to stay stock it's super quiet almost as quiet as a prius I wanted something loud but driving with the top down is just a headache

I have the same car, but i got it with bbk long tube headers. But I cant get my emissions monitors set for inspection in Massachusetts for shit with long tubes, so I'm thinking of switching to shorties. Did you have any issues with your o2 sensors getting ready?
To be honest, I had a minor set back. At first no, then I ran into an issue with the monitors not being set. I found out me tuning my car back to 91 prevented the light from coming back on. Others haven’t had this issue as I’m aware of but it could be just a me thing you know?
these looks exactly like bbk shorty headers too. i have a custom x pipe on mine from a local shop & flowmaster 40s. i wanna get headers too but the one from AM is too expensive lol
They work exactly like them too haha. Everything is overpriced now unfortunately. Best thing I would recommend to save a quick buck is to download coupon savings downloads to your bowser as in honey, retail me not, etc. Do your hw across all websites as well. Just because something is cheap, doesn’t mean it will be great and same goes for expensive items too. Best of luck Jetta 🫡

I appreciate it man! Welcome to the channel! The radio Is a Phoenix automotive 12in touchscreen painted white around the plastic trim. They range from $400+ but definitely an upgrade compared to the calculator Ford equipped the mustang with. I’ll be making a video on it at some point!

I bought these 2 years ago and I run my car hard they have lasted the test of time. I also bought and xpipe off eBay as well and never going back. I bought a 5.0 throttle body off eBay..and a DNA 3in intake.. out here making RTs on cheap knock offs 😂
Honestly, thinking of it, I haven’t had any issues with some of the eBay mods I’ve added to the car. As long as you do your homework, things more than likely will work out in your favor. 😎

@@dannyphantom907 yes the 5.0 throttle bottle is the same diameter as a the diameter of the 3.7 intake manifold. You just need an adapter.

If you decided to go muffler delete, it’ll sound more aggressive. Or pair it with roush axle backs
I would love a pair of roush axel backs but they’ll a little too pricey for me atm.
@@LoganScott. I totally understand. There’s these ones on eBay called trident motorsport axle backs that are very similar to roush . They go for about $280-$300

I got shorty headers, high flow cats, x-pipe and muffler delete😭 I hate it but I love the cold start🥰, I felt the torque loss so bad, put the stock mufflers back and the torque came back.
That sounded like a mess lmao! They do sound great at cold start till you start easing on the gas. Can relate
I did that for awhile to then I switched to a h pipe it sounds way better and you get your tourque I'm catless as well
After watching a video of this person with them been open showing the difference in oem mufflers of the 4cyl mustang and the V8 5.0 and another video of the 3.7 V6 muffler, I've got myself a pair of 2018 5.0 GT oem mufflers, and it makes sense to me🤔, those GT 5.0 oem mufflers are made for a car that had 420 hp and can candle more, so it is obvious that it will definitely handle my HP and they will be loud with the setup that I have already.

I got a 16 3.7 and got the bbk shortys and they do sound good paired with a catback exhaust
I’ve watched a couple of videos and I agree. The right set up will really give you that deep throaty sound you’re looking for!

I’ve watched some videos and read some forums on that and people have said the same thing. I would like too and it looks sick, but as of right now, I have other plans I would like to accomplish with the car

@@LoganScott. , Yes 👍, i have a 2015 3.7L 6r80 convertible, Currently i have a k&n airfilter drop in , x pipe/resonator delete and a muffler delete , I also have a MPT 91 oct PRX tune with transmission tuning. I just uninstalled it to save gas money but with the tune on , its a very fun quick car, the 11 - 14 s197 3.7s have weak driveshafts so you wana avoid going over 120 , but the best few upgrades id 1st recommend if u wan really be competitive even against 5.0s , is get a 1 piece aluminum driveshaft, upgrade to 3.73 ford racing gears and then choice either an MPT /AMR / or Ortiz performance tune for it. Those are big 3 tuners right now for the 3.7. Id highly recommend you join the 3.7L cyclone facebook group , all the tuners are on there and people with 600whp turbo 3.7s , procharged 3.7s and nitrous 3.7s , few run 10s in the 1/4 mile and a few have been 9s in the 1/4 mile. I also recommend subscribing to Auto mafia racings youtube channel 👍

I’ve always had it. My guess is it’s lifter tick. It’s never caused me any issues so I never worry about it.
I just put mine on yesterday and it’s really worth the price tbh

I have no cats because they blew out from the popcorn tune so na I replaced the downpipe too but I'd suggest keeping them if there still good cuz it's rowdy past 3000 rpm even with mufflers
mine leaks shop said its bad welds but they used gaskets which came with and i hope its just the gaskets
I didn’t use the gaskets that came with it because they didn’t look quality in my opinion. I re-used the OEM gaskets
Wish I had a buddy who could help me install it , shops don't know shit and I still gotta pay em to get it fixed again lol

Should’ve got a tune first. Get with the right tuning company and they’ll retune you for free as you mod you’re car. Only thing these cars need is tune, 3.73 gears or higher, ported intake manifolds, and drop in intake. I got all that and shorty headers, shorty headers are just for deeper tone. Not really any hp gain. CAI and throttle body and throttle body spacers are a waste.
Thanks for the feed back! You’re right about the throttle body spacer. Not much of anything but a fun little mod. I have a Diablo tune on the car atm but I wish I would have went a different route. Nothing wrong with the tune I have now but it’s limited if you know what I mean. Maybe one day I’ll change it but I’m not too concerned over it
Autos don’t pop - Be careful of the heat they trap. Might need to wrap them to save your hood paint.

@@LoganScott. hey man, it’s like legos. Save up one mod at a time 😅😅. I just got a new omp steering wheel, finally installing my tubular front clip, about to install the back half of my roll cage tomorrow, and built my differential with a torsen and 4.56 gears back in January, everything all by myself! Doing the labor yourself isn’t always going to be perfect (not always a failure either) but it will always save you money

Hey Joe, thanks for stopping by! I haven’t had any issues with them since the day I bought them. I had my CEL turn on a few times for a “heated 02 sensor” but turned off on its own overtime. Not sure if it had anything to do with the headers.

Looks like the seller removed the listing. I checked Amazon and found one very similar. It says “won’t fit a 2014 mustang” but it looks like the same design and the questions section mentions it’s for a Ford 3.7. You’re more than welcome to look into it but the is purchase at your own risk! I didn’t buy my headers from Amazon so it will be best to further look into it and see if it’s doable

I’m not 100% sure tbh. I brought the bolt with me to Home Depot (not the best place to use flange bolts)

@@henrygarcia7921 I’m on Raceland classic Coilovers with a 1.75 in drop in the front and a 2.75 in drop in the rear. Tire size 245/35/20 (front) and 275/30/20 (rear).
It’ll definitely give it a deeper tone. I have a 3in catback exhaust on my 3.7 on my channel. Comes with a H pipe, really loud but I love it and so do others. Nice video too 👍🏾.

Shorty headers give you no performance gain , aside from sound that's about all you will get
I didn’t feel much as time went on, but did feel a very minimal amount of torque increase + sound as you said.
